"The make-your-own sandwich option is fantastic! I chose mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and basil pesto on marble rye, and it was perfect. They make their own mozzarella, which was a bit disappointing for my taste. My husband ordered the Sesame Salmon Bowl, which he enjoys every time he gets it. The staff was polite, even though they were busy, and I’ll definitely remember to order online next time. The food was ready in about 10-12 minutes, and it was worth every minute. Everything was on time, and we absolutely loved our meal. Thank you for such a delicious experience!"

Warm, but worth it! The classic club is amazing and very generous. The interior is cozy and cool. You also have a beautiful bakery selection and bread selection. The Challah is wonderful to see!

The bread tasted fine, the service was good. But this should not be called an omelette. At best this is and egg cooked and toppings flopped inside. At no point we’re they cooked together. Disappointing.

The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is that it's pricey for what you get. Other than that, they're great. Good food, good service, prices push the limit, but I'll pay them for the right sandwich.

Great quality food, friendly service. Miss seeing the owner, I haven't seen her since before the expansion. I am a faithful customer from way back when there were more tables outside than in (the store use to be on the other side of the plaza). View menu

The bread was fresh and delicious. The salad was large and tasty. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The restaurant is very clean and reasonably priced, conveniently located near many other shops. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

The service was outstanding, with a great willingness to accommodate personalized requests and substitutions. Brian's dedication significantly enhanced our dining experience, as he went above and beyond to make it delightful and memorable. The food was also packaged with high quality, and the dining area was kept clean.

The Germans and the French distinguish between a bread shop and a pastry shop. Bountiful Bread combines both PLUS a fantastic selection of soups and sandwiches for lunch, all freshly made while you wait, not prepackaged. A must-drop-in eatery if you 're exhausted from shopping at the Stuyvesant Plaza and looking for a break and a snack! View menu

Bountiful Bread is a nice soup and sandwich shop. They serve soup, sandwiches and pastries. Service was good, but they were backed up at the service counter. This was Saturday afternoon though. Overall the experience was good. I met with a group of friends here, we were able to sit together, talk, and were not bothered. A great experience and the food was good.

I've been going to Bountiful Bread for years and always loved it! But have been disappointed in the past few months. Prices have gone up but quality has gone down. Purchased a Caesar salad with chicken (see photos) and charging $14 for a salad that doesn't even fill the container and has brown lettuce. Also purchased a chicken pesto sandwich recently and noticed a premade one was taken out of the fridge. I requested it to be grilled but it was still cold when I bit into it! I understand refrigerating for efficiency, but a grilled sandwich shouldn't be cold.

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
