"To begin, our waitress was outstanding! She was fun, kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly patient. She really went above and beyond for us. Our daughter brought her doll along, and the waitress even got a booster seat for it, which made our daughter's day!
We tried a variety of drinks. My husband ordered a few Bloody Marys that were perfectly crafted, complete with fancy garnishes. He declared them among the best he’s ever had. I had an iced coffee with vanilla caramel syrup and cream, which was delicious and had great flavor without being bitter. I also tried the gooey butter latte, and it was AMAZING! It even came with a tiny gooey butter cookie, which is making my mouth water just thinking about it. Our waitress made a special version for our daughter without the espresso, so she could enjoy a drink just like mine!
We all went for the Rosie Style breakfast, which includes two fresh eggs, a choice of meat, biscuit or toast, country potatoes, and either a pancake or French toast. I chose my eggs sunny-side up, along with ham, a side of bacon, homemade white toast (so good!), country potatoes, and French toast. The French toast was hands down the BEST I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was cooked just right—not too chewy or too crispy. You could really tell the toast was made from scratch. The country potatoes and ham were seasoned and cooked to perfection, as well.
Our daughter had fried eggs, bacon, a biscuit, and a pancake topped with bananas and strawberries. She loved every bit of it! My husband went for scrambled eggs, bacon, a biscuit, and a pancake, and he also enjoyed the delicious country potatoes. He and our daughter added a side of sausage gravy for their biscuits, which was just as delightful as everything else.
They offer an extensive selection of baked goods, and we couldn't resist taking home a few gooey butter cookies.
