"For a place that built its menu around whole foods, Buddha Bowls and the like, I was shocked that they serve instant oatmeal. Not only is this an insult to me but it demonstrates that they lack belief in their own brand. They mean well but really need to try harder. If you ordered scrambled eggs would you be okay with being served powdered instant eggs?! The waitress, who was nice, tried the excuse that they don’t get a lot of orders for oatmeal. Well then take oatmeal off your menu, don’t spoil … – show"

"We ordered the egg in a basket, the biscuit with gravy, and pancakes with a side of bacon. I also had the Andes cold brew coffee, which was a special. It was all absolutely delicious. This is a place where you order at the counter and then the food is delivered to your table. The silverware and water is available in the back of the restaurant and is self serve. I've had difficulty finding good coffee in Tennessee, and this was fabulous. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: There were high chairs available.Parking: We ended up parking across the street at the courthouse, as the street parking immediately in front of the restaurant was full, but parking was not difficult to find."

"First of all, we though Jailah was friendly, attentive, and did a great job as our server! I didn 't have the oysters, but I would not recommend if you are looking for quality seafood. The fried pickles were actually really good! The chilled shrimp appetizer was average so we were hopeful! We ordered the Fried J.O. platter and the Broiled J.O. Platter. They should not use the term loaded in the description because each item sat on the plate without touching and it was barely enough to feed one hungry person. Nothing special about the fried items. The batter had no flavor and the stuffed crab tasted like bland thanksgiving stuffing and we couldn 't find any meat in it. The broiled items again had no flavor and scallops were a little overcooked and chewy. French fries were average, fried okra was tasteless, cheese grits were a bland runny mess, but they didn 't mess up the steamed broccoli... We planned on dessert, but after the main course decided to pass. Overall, way overpriced for the quality. Parking was tight as it always is with downtown restaurants. Atmosphere was casual and not too cramped. With a 4.5 rating we expected A LOT more. Maybe you will have better luck with other menu items??"

"My rating is ONLY for the smoothies and buckeyes- Splenda, sucralose in vanilla whey protein and buckeyes- it’s a neurotoxin. I should have been more diligent in reading- I definitely didn’t think it would have fake sugars in it.The actual food might be good but be aware of extra ingredients. These smoothies are not healthy. Splenda, sucralose is a NEUROTOXIN.The lady working was very nice about it and very apologetic. I know it’s not her fault. I was frustrated by the fact that it all appears to be so healthy but then there is Splenda, sucralose in it…Again, she was very nice about it.I am only telling people this so they are educated. I would not want my patients coming here thinking they are replenishing well post a workout, only to be eating fake sugar. The other food seems to be OK- I don’t know about all the proteins…. So just be aware in case, like our family, you don’t eat Splenda, sucralose…a good reminder to always read ingredients and ask lots of questions."

"Food was so delicious I got fried catfish with mashed potatoes and fried vegetable medley and it was so good. Some of the best food I’ve had. My son had chicken and fries and he said it was the best chicken ever and my daughter loved their macaroni and cheese. My sister was happy to see they served pickled beets and slaw. The only complaint I have was it was a little pricey but I would definitely eat here again as a nice treat every now and then. It’s lovely."

"The decor of the place has a hall-like vibe, featuring long communal tables along with some regular tables and several outdoor seating areas. While I’m waiting for my son’s car to get an oil change today, I’m making some progress on clearing out my unfinished review drafts—34 left to tackle after this one! I’ve sampled a few items from the menu. The Brussels sprouts were a popular choice, but they didn't quite suit my taste. The cheese curds were enjoyable, although I still think Craftsman takes the crown in that category. The tacos were decent, but I struggled to pick a favorite. I wasn’t particularly keen on the fish taco, probably because it was deep-fried—an ironic comment considering I just praised the cheese curds. The charcuterie board stands out as one of my favorite dishes from my visits. The brisket sandwich was divine, and the chicken wings were phenomenal, making me feel like I was soaring. I tried the beet salad, which I wouldn’t have ordered on my own, but my ex had chosen it, and it looked too pretty not to sample. I wanted to finish her portion, but she wouldn’t allow it. I can’t recall what else I ordered, but it clearly didn’t leave a strong impression. This restaurant is a popular spot for good reason!"

"Fantastic bbq by a family owned business. Blink and you might miss this little gem of a place. Located a the west end of Baymeadows across from Walgrees this delightful place serves up homemade onion rings and fried squash along with delicious bbq meats and sides. The chicken has that smoky taste but is very moist. The meat just falls off the bones on the ribs. I can't say enough good things about the food. Shannon the owner and her son Rob were running the place and are lovely down home country people who you feel could be your family. I highly recommend trying this place because I know I'll be back"

"I'm coming here almost every week to pick up their food plans. Healthy and tasty tho on the pricy side, but on the other hand there is no shopping, prepping or cooking required. If you need to recycle properly you need to wash your containers before you put them in the container so there is that it, but they are easy to clean and if you want, you can keep some and reuse them. Staff are always friendly and super helpful and I like their reward system definitely helps with the bill from time to time. Did not eat here, but if my work was closer, this would be a frequent lunch stop for a bite. You also have a freezer area for the last weeks to grab meals and pizza and go when you are inclined."

"I went back to the restaurant to try and get the food fixed, but the door was locked even though they were supposed to be open. After finally speaking to someone on the phone, Miranda assured me they would take care of it. However, I overheard the cook saying they were closed and refused to make the replacements I requested, which is unacceptable customer service. We had not even tried the other food yet, but it was clear there were issues. We had spent a lot of money on five meals, plus a tip, and were only offered to have our salad remade, even though it was our original complaint due to the molded eggs. After throwing out everything except the spaghetti for my daughter, they seemed to think I was joking about the quality of the food but I have pictures to prove it. Next time, I will stick to Kidd's dinner for diner, as they have always saved the day."

"Isabelle de Borchgrave Exhibit- Fashioning Art from Paper. Life size dresses made from paper, covering 500 years of history from Europe and around the word. Also on special exhibit is Adele and Leonard Leigh’s collection of glass. The story of how they met and the life that led them to Louisville is quite interesting. Along with these two displays are the permanent displays in the museum. Social Distancing and mask are enforced. Tickets sold in advance at a limited number per hour. The exhibits take between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to cover."
