"This place is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh and delicious, delivery within the hour even during busy times. The 'half sub ' is huge at 12+ inches, the salad platters are fairly large, and the pizza actually came out amazing? Their customer service is top tier as well. I usually order through grubhub and the app messed up my order, but JC 's caught it and called me to confirm. If they 're ever out of something, they call and offer alternatives. This is me and my roommates go-to place, as they are reliably good. I highly recommend them if you 're local to the area!"

"First timer, asked the in-house ?what?s good?? ?Steak and cheeses, and our pizzas? I think ok, let?s dive in, ordered two steak and cheeses, and slapped in a large pie to feel this place out. Then delivery came. Early. I?m not mad. Love some haste. But then upon me checking the order, BOOOM I SEE pics below First off, this is my actual first review, i don?t cry about anything, but this place? NO!!! Had a hair in the steak and cheese giant hair!!! Legitimately woven through my cheese and meat ?, pizza was extremely undercooked. Immediately tried to call and speak to someone. Ordered at 8! Delivered at 8:40, no answer at 8:50. They close at 9!! Called several times. No answer. 55$ dollar order? NEVER AGAIN. keep it!!!"

"I highly recommend Kahana Tiki Tu! After attending a birthday party there and having such a fantastic time, I decided to host my own birthday celebration at the same venue. Arlette and the entire team made the planning process seamless and were incredibly supportive—setting aside a section of the restaurant for my group of over 25 people. The restaurant is filled with vibrant decorations, and the private area we used for our event was just as delightful. During our celebration, Riley provided exceptional service, expertly managing everyone's orders and names. Everyone in our party loved the food, particularly the sushi, and the tiki drinks were a hit as well. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed by the attentive service, delectable food and drinks, and the lively atmosphere. I will definitely return, and several of my friends are also planning to visit. "Great BBQ!. I landed in Phoenix around 9am from the East Coast and decided to head to Thee Pitts as my first DDD stop of my vacation. I got the hot open brisket sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was very generously portioned and tasted fantastic. My parents had the pork and slaw sandwiches which were out of this world as well. The service was attentive and the decor of the place was great. Perhaps the best part of my meal was the dough pickles appetizers. They are breaded and fried pickle slivers served with ranch dressing and they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I definitely recommend trying these when you vist Thee Pitts."

"Sometimes the most spontaneous visits to certain places can be the best. And this is exactly what I experienced when visiting Endless Summer Sweets . They name all in itself sounds like either a candy shop or bakery. But it is actually neither. They are more focused on fair/carnival type food where you could get deep-fried Oreos, deep-fried Twinkies, funnel cakes, caramel apples, and ice cream as well as hand-dipped corn dogs and grilled hot dogs. Located directly on Shattuck Ave. and tucked in between Durant Ave/Channing Way in the heart of Berkeley, Endless Summer Sweets (which is open year round) has been serving the East Bay community ever since 2009. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I came here on a whim since I didn 't want a full-on meal and more of a snack to fill me up. I arrived at around 7:30pm on the evening of 10/16/21 and as expected, there was a long line of people waiting to get their comfort food. Which is a good sign since I knew I would be in for something good. I ended up ordering their Chicken Apple Grilled Hot Dog (for $5.00) complete with a small soda and a Mini Funnel Cake complete with powdered sugar strawberries (for $6.00). Total time it took was a rather quick 10 minutes even though there were nonstop customers in here. My hot dog arrives first and I was very impressed with the toasted hot dog bun and large portions they offered. I completed dressing this up with mustard, mayo, ketchup, relish. As far as the funnel cake, this was very delicious and 5-star worthy. It was so good I didn 't even take a photo of it (which is a cardinal sin for me since I ALWAYS try to snap a picture) prior to eating it. It definitely had that state fair taste to it and is something I could literally enjoy eating year-round. The interior of this place is fun, lively, and actually offers ample seating for families and couples. All in all, Endless Summer Sweets is an excellent above-average place that I highly recommend. The selection of sugary sweets in addition to cotton candy and popcorn is a place kids will love. And the hot dog/corn dog selection is sure to please people of all ages. When you factor in the ambiance, experience, customer service, prices, and quality of food, I would have to rate Endless Summer Sweets an above average four stars."

"I ordered the 6-inch Italian beef with sweet peppers. Although I didn't specify if I wanted it dry or baptized, I received a perfectly made sandwich. The bun held together nicely, which I appreciated—there's nothing worse than a sandwich that falls apart, though I wouldn't have minded extra napkins if that had been the case. "I'll give a 3.5 because of the great atmosphere and nostalgic ambiance. The reason I'm not giving a higher rating is due to the server. But first I'll talk about the good things. I love 50 diners!! Ever since I was a little chef. So it satiated that love. Juke box in the corner, oldies playing, and the old school vibe. The food this time was good normally it's amazing the chef is awesome but I think they changed portion size and plating. Now for the bad, the server in there has no personality and seems annoyed by having to serve us. Every time I go in there she doesn't smile or have a warm disposition. I feel like she hates her job. A 50's diner server she be bubbly and fun. I still love this place anyway. I won't let her ruin my good time. Lol"

"Terrible experience. We stopped here on our way home from Summersville, West VA, and had been looking forward to it for a couple of hours. Upon arrival, we waited a few minutes to be seated, which was understandable given that there was only one waitress. Once we finally sat down, we were ready to order. There were only four tables occupied. After the last two tables received their food, we waited over half an hour for ours. The food quality was disappointingly low. The brisket was so tough I couldn't chew it, and the baked potato was inedible and nothing like the pictures. The replacement mac and cheese had no flavor at all, and the corn, just like everything else, was bland and tasteless."

"The go-to place to just hangout with a group of friends for good cheap drinks in UES. I’ve been here several times with just other person and it was just as fun. The patrons are also locals from the neighborhood, so that’s nice. The crowd is one of the reasons why I kept coming back. I came here on a holiday one day and found some locals just hanging out, it was a good time. I miss this bar now that I’m not in this neighborhood anymore. "We went to Ranch Hand BBQ on Fathers Day and they were slammed!! All the employees were working so hard, and still smiling. Every time I go here, they are very accommodating, helpful and fun. Not to mention, the Tri tip sandwich is the best in town. I was happy to see them being so busy on Fathers Day and didn't mind waiting the 20 mins for my food to be ready. The young men at the register are always so sweet and helpful and the blonde lady bagging up orders knows how to make sure that each patron feels heard and taken care of. "I have driven past this place multiple times, I can’t believe I’ve never stopped! I have been to many chicken places, including many that made that supposed top 10 list of best chicken places in Chicago, this is easily in my top two or three. When I first walked in I was met by a cheerful and bubbly young lady at the counter. Behind her was an equally enthusiastic gentleman waiting in the kitchen area for her to send him my order. The customer service experience was exceptional, I was absolutely shocked when I saw that a four piece dinner with two sides was just over $10. The chicken was easily some of the BEST , JUICIEST chicken I’ve ever had that included the breast which in my experience is usually dry) I was a little wary when I saw that the mashed potatoes did not have any gravy, But to my surprise they were incredibly creamy, flavorful and moist!I absolutely give this place five stars as far as their service, customer service and the quality and taste of their food. Even though I have to admit there was one side that was awful, but this goes to show just how amazing everything else was that I am still willing to give this place five stars. I was not able to finishThe macaroni and cheese, but I did not go there for the macaroni and cheese, and I will absolutely be going here in the future! "Our food took 35 minutes to arrive, and it was cold when it finally did. We noticed that several tables, including a large party, were served before us. We considered getting the buffet, but we were uncomfortable seeing other customers serving themselves without masks. Additionally, my elderly friend was charged for her ham, coffee, and orange juice, which feels unjust. The waitress was indifferent, and the owner didn’t seem to care either. I ended up not paying the bill."
