"I have been to Rock Creek several times, probably 4-5 previous visits in the past year. Food has consistently been good, but the service missed the mark today. First, we arrived at 5:25 and the hostess reminded us that Happy Hour ended at 5:30. The wait staff person arrived at 5:28, and when we asked about happy hour options, we were told it was too late. We pointed out the time and we we were told, no it's over. Not even I am sorry, or I will check with the manager, or I'll will try to get your order in. Throughout the meal, the server was not attentive. No ask if we would like to order additional drinks after our initial round was empty. Pacing of the meal was erratic. Starters came with two of the main meals, one main came quite a bit later. On three occasions, food intended for other tables was brought to us, and we had to correct the staff that it wasn't ours In prior visits, service has been a high point of the Rock Creek experience, but not today. The food quality was good, and as per prior visits, the fish was good quality."
