"Yesterday, myself and six family members went to Creekside Cafe at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the Mother's Day brunch. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the brunch this year and will not be returning next year. Many items we were looking forward to from the menu were not available (such as smoked salmon and mashed potatoes), and several of the hot dishes were served cold or undercooked. The waffles were dry and cold, and the boursin hash browns were undercooked and cold as well. When we asked for more food to be brought out, we were told that they had run out with no plans to restock. My niece was disappointed when the mac and cheese she wanted was gone by 12:45 pm, even though we believed the brunch was supposed to last until 2 pm. Additionally, the $10 mimosas we ordered turned out to be just orange juice with no champagne. To top it off, my sister found a plastic whipped cream can cap in her food. Our experience this year was a stark contrast to last year, when everything was fantastic. We understand that prices may have gone up, but $39 per person is a considerable amount of money for brunch. We ended up spending nearly $400 and left feeling let down, especially considering $70 of our bill was for what we thought was champagne in our mimosas."
