"Went for the “famous” brunch on weekend. Being european the quality and assortment of food didn’t quite meet the expectations… lack of sortiment of good cheese and the selection of sweets and desserts seemed to overrule the selection of proper food. Service was excellent and very attentive. Price was very affordable but it felt like a typical ordinary hotel buffet breakfast style. It was a good brunch but not something I would recommend food wise. The dishes that were presented was seasoned well and tasted good, but I was disappointed with the range. They only offered bad scrambled eggs for egg options."

we had a problem with guests being late,ALL employees bent over backwards to be helpful, and a tense situation ended up as a most pleasant experience View menu

Delicious meal, perfectly prepared for my friends’ special requests, and the waiter was very attentive and personable. Love to meet current students and learn about their stories.

A tasty meal is easy to find on the menu which is balanced and measured. The wine/beer/cocktail list is extensive. The service is a study in “how to work in a restaurant”, with an eagerness to please.

Unfortunately, the food options and quality were poor. When we shared our experience with the waiter, he offered to call the chef to talk to us. We were waiting to do that, but the chef never appeared. View menu

We used to attend Brunch at Banfi's a few years ago and today it was mediocre. Why? Only a few items were available: scrambled eggs (no hot sauce), bacon, dry potatoes, oat meal, and two choices of crepes. We were expecting more than just a plate of various melons, and two types of cheeses.

Our favorite buffet in the finger lakes region. Food is very good although the roast beef was getting a little dry. Shrimp was great. Salmon was great. Dessert selection is nice. Creme Brulee was awesome as always. Please bring back the flourless chocolate cake. That used to be insanely good. Coffee is really good. Service was really good. Ease of making a reservation online was really good. Valet parking is a nice feature.

"My girlfriend and I decided to take a romantic getaway on the finger lakes and our drive had us passing through Ithaca, so we decided to stop for dinner. A good friend recommended this place, and admittedly I was skeptical of Italian food this far from New York City, but I trust their recommendations and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. For our wine selection, our server allowed us to sample one of the wines by the glass, which tasted thin. When we described what we wanted, she came back with a reasonably priced bottle that exactly hit the deep red notes that we were looking for (see the picture for the winery vintage if interested . We started with the crostini sampler. In my opinion, the Caponata was the best, but they were all interesting to try and I was glad we got all three. As a nice touch, they cut each crostini in half so my girlfriend and I could both easily sample each one. For dinner, I had the grilled hanger steak, which came with rapini and shoestring fries. I admittedly gave an annoyingly long description of how I wanted it cooked (essentially rare+ and they nailed it. The steak was fantastic, but the accompaniments were so good that they almost stole the show. The shoestring fries’ rosemary seasoning was a fun twist and the rapini was both familiar (garlic and olive oil and excitingly different. For dessert, I had what was essentially espresso mousse with graham crackers and a glass of dessert wine. While probably the weakest course, it was still a delicious way to cap an amazing meal. The mousse required a bit more texture, but fortunately they provided graham crackers on the side (which I suggest crumbling into the mousse . I’d highly recommend checking this place out if you happen to be in the area."
