"My family adores this restaurant! Everyone leaves satisfied. The menu offers a wide variety of vegan options including vegan samosas, vegan tofu tikka, vegan chana masala, vegan vegetable vindaloo, and vegan aloo paratha, which are all popular choices. Be sure to try the hari subzi and seasonal sukhi bhindi as well. The menu is extensive and clearly marked for those with dietary preferences."

"In the past we have been very satisfied with our meal at this restaurant. This time, however, our entrees were very flat tasting. We kept adding table salt, but it did not help. Disappointed. We will give it another try in the future as we have always like it before Easter Dinners and Mother's Day. May have just been an off day with the chef."

"I was disappointed to find that some of the food I expected to be hot or at least warm was actually cold. While there was an okay selection, I wish there had been more variety. The service, on the other hand, was good - our server was prompt in clearing our dishes and keeping our drinks filled. The fried shrimp was delicious, but the fruit bar was only average with discolored and unpleasant tasting peaches. The interior of the restaurant was dingy and dirty. Overall, I would give the service a rating of 4 out of 5, the food a 2 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 2 out of 5. This would be a good spot for a lunch outing, with prices per person ranging from $1 to $10. Recommended dishes include the Egg Drop Soup. Parking options include free street parking."

"Looking for something more adventurous than typical Indian food? Check out Yak N Yeti for an authentic taste of Nepalese cuisine! I had never tried Momo before, but their Sadheko Momo truly amazed me. They are a delightful mix of spices with just the right amount of heat to get your adrenaline pumping. Their Biryani is fantastic as well, and the fried rice is so delicious that I often choose it as my main dish when I'm trying to save a bit of money. Don't skip dessert either—the Lal Mohan, which are spiced fried balls soaked in rose and cinnamon syrup, is an incredible experience of sweet and savory flavors. The only issue I've noticed, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, is that the Aloo Cauli tends to be quite watery when ordered for delivery."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."

"Sad experience. Poor ambience overall. Entrance blocked with chairs, not sure why. Kids commented that music was dull and boring. More importantly multiple plates were unclean with food particles stuck to the plates. Salt and pepper shakers were dirty from prior use, not sure when they were last cleaned. The server looked like she didn't want to be doing what she was doing. No greetings or checking in between. Before bringing in 2nd round of food, didn't bother taking away the unclean appetizer plates first. Food was OK not great. The vegetable Biryani was honestly bad, didn't taste anywhere like what a biryani should be."

"I have eaten here twice and have enjoyed Taste of Taj very much. I have gone for the brunch. The selection is a little limited but fairly diverse in the choices that are put out. Not bad for a beginner's taste of Indian food. You are served fresh nan bread with your meal which is delicious on its own and wonderful for sopping up the different sauces. There were not many people there either time I went. Hopefully that is just my luck at picking a time when the restaurant wasn't busy because I really enjoy it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My glass was kept full and my used plates removed in a timely manner."

"TLDR: Do yourself a favor and stay as far away as possible. Food and service are pathetic.Service: My parents went in for food around 8.30pm, and even though they state 9.00pm as closing time, they were denied seating and was told service was stopped and they could only pick up. If this is the case they should clearly say so in their listing online.Atmosphere felt cold and uninviting. They seemed unhappy that someone came in at that time and that they had to do their freakin job. Very sad indeed.Food: They managed to whip up all the food that was ordered in 5 mins first red flag). When we got the food to the hotel, literally up few floors in the intercontinental, and tried it, we almost barfed. The food, all of it, was disgusting and felt super stale. The naans were uncooked and rubbery, the butter chicken very sweet and looks like they cooked the chicken whole as the pieces were enormous taste nothing close to what it's supposed to be). The goat was passable. Needless to say we threw all the food out and had to find some other thing to eat. How pathetic that they masquerade as an Indian restaurant and there is literally nothing indian about it, let alone nothing consumable."

"Tony's Pizza Pasta, no doubt this is an awesome place. They have gone down hill since covid, lack of staff, lack of customers. Especially since they removed the salad bar and the rolls before dinner. I really loved this place but it's not what it use to be, the food doesn't seem as great anymore, it's just not the same. I would recommend a better place to eat at than Tony's. I suggests to Tony's do something to get business back, do a promotion or an event to get more people. It's also out of date, the inside could use a big remodel. Otherwise, I really love the place."

"We have been eating at this restaurant for many years. The aroma of Indian spices is delightful upon entering the restaurant. The service is good. The wine list is small but has a good selection of reasonably priced wines. Everything is wonderfully spiced and seasoned. There is always extra hot sauce available at your table if you would like to elevate the temperature of your dinner. I especially like the weekend buffet which starts on Friday. I am not usually a buffet person but this is especially tasty. The naan bread is outstanding and on occasion we have been served fresh garlic naan bread at our table at no extra cost. The restaurant is not fancy but it is clean. This is a fine ethnic restaurant with excellent prices, service and delicious food."

"Went for the “famous” brunch on weekend. Being european the quality and assortment of food didn’t quite meet the expectations… lack of sortiment of good cheese and the selection of sweets and desserts seemed to overrule the selection of proper food. Service was excellent and very attentive. Price was very affordable but it felt like a typical ordinary hotel buffet breakfast style. It was a good brunch but not something I would recommend food wise. The dishes that were presented was seasoned well and tasted good, but I was disappointed with the range. They only offered bad scrambled eggs for egg options."

"The restaurant offers a great selection on the menu. However, the buffet could use a bit more excitement. We pass through the city frequently and enjoy dining here often, as it consistently delivers a high-quality experience. The family that owns the place is also very lovely."

"I will absolutely never return to this restaurant. I ordered delivery over the phone and experienced the rudest customer service I've ever encountered. When I asked the representative to repeat my order to ensure accuracy, she practically yelled at us. Changing one item seemed like an inconvenience for her. I placed my order at 5:37 PM and was told it would take 20-30 minutes to arrive, but now it’s 6:24 PM. I called 18 times before they finally picked up (the line was not busy; it just went through). When I asked about the status, I was told the order was on the way. A 35-minute delivery should not be a problem if it’s what they offer!"

"Authentic Indian cuisine. When we arrived, a large Indian family was there for dinner...that spoke to me before I had a chance to taste the food myself. Ask for recommendations, they make good ones. The Daal and Paneer were fantastic... the fresh Naan... perfection. The service was very personable, the atmosphere pleasant. Sooo much goodness. Even budget friendly. Coming back again for sure... and again. There was nothing I didnt like. Great Indian food here. Very happy."

"I called July 15th around 240ish to speak with someone in charge regarding an incident that happened there, nothing bad but as a compliment. I got hung up twice when requesting someone in charge, i though OK it was a bit rude, so I called a third time requesting the owner, and I got called a Faget, got told to get a real job, and got hung up after a malicious laugh at the end. I mean that was just uncalled for, I don't expect an owner or manager to talk to anyone that way, it was uncalled for, just as a heads up to all who support this place.. THIIS WAS THEIR RESPONSE Response from the owner 33 minutes ago Hello, I just listened to the recording of the call, you said you “worked for Goggle with the “reputation department” asking for business after the employee told no thank you pls do not call back you keep calling and asked the employee to put her mom on the phone. Please get a real job not how the conversation went who ever you are... I have the recording as well, I will post it.... I asked for the owner, I would never disrespect anyones mom, so please get the facts straight, regardless. if he did not understand me there is a language barrier, obvious to note, whatever the case, dont call anyone a faget, we can go with the pride community who has huge impact in Los Angeles, Would not like for your business to loose credibility, so Ill leave it with this..just learn to be nice, specially to your customers..... they make who you are as a business..... RESPECT... not a hard word to follow....."

"I haven’t been to Ambar Santana Row for a few years (I used to live on the Row so ate there regularly) and was severely disappointed. Something was off the whole evening. Service was strange, distant, and not that helpful (they tried to take plates away while we were still eating it and it was left in the basket), and most importantly, the food was bad (lamb chops way over done, parantha raw/under cooked, etc). I spoke to the manager who said I should have told them I didn’t want the lamb overdone ?!? I was not asked when I ordered nor have I ever been to a restaurant where the norm is over cooking meat. The manager gave us a small discount (not as much as even one of the dishes we ordered but I think he thought that was the way to handle the situation). I dine out a fair amount and was pretty disappointed. Will not be back"

"Man this place is highly underrated. Had to help family move to Gainesville recently and were looking for a spot for good Pakistani/Indian food options. Stumbled across this and decided to try it. The food was excellent. We have now had it on three separate occasions and the chicken tikka masala, chapli kababs, goat biryani, veg and chicken samosas, among many other items were all great. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. I only took one star off for atmosphere because I feel the location is very fast casual and less dine in in terms of decor and ambiance. Just a little TLC in making it look nicer and this is probably the top option for Southasian cuisine in Gainesville. Will 100% be back every time I visit the family."
