"PERFECT...The staff went out of their way to present an outstanding evening. Very warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Rose petals on the table as well as a small vase with a rose. Staff came right over and poured a complimentary sparkling wine. The service was outstanding. They never rush you in this restaurant. Live entertainment was great in the background. As always the food was very good. Ownership was present to make sure everything was going smoothly. Outstanding evening. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are looking forward to their upcoming Steakhouse Wine Dinner . Thanks !"

"only the time to kill waiting for the red line of a weekend had no plans to come to this place, but when we saw that the red line was an hour outside, we decided to be productive with our time and take a drink. I had no idea that sawms and big straps were connected to each other, but I had both enjoyed before and always what I had, so I had no qualifying about the going and the review of the city. we sat at the bar and were immediately greeted with water and a menu, after we had just gotten stuck from the Irish, our group was not hungry, but decided to have some drinks. I love martinis and decided to go with one, it was delicious! a well-made dirty martini with gin, it was smooth and I could certainly have 2 but decided to be “responsible” and stay with one. location was clean and secret, with a decent amount of people for the hour, our bartender was also very friendly."

"Service was terrible, server didn’t know anything about the food. She was nice enough, but far from knowledgeable. Another employee kept wanting to clear our plates, so we finally handed them to her with mouths full of food and forks in our hands. That was a bit annoying. Wine list is way overrated and WAY overpriced. It definitely seems like a “wannabe” restaurant. Everything is totally overrated. Food was actually good, but that was the only positive about our experience. Server said they didn’t have potatoes, but somehow my scallops came out with potatoes on the plate. Confused me even more. Glad I didn’t pay the for the venison that I really wanted to try. I would have ordered it if our server knew how it was prepared and what it came with. Everything about this place other than how the food tasted, was annoying and a complete letdown"

"The service and beer at this restaurant were great! The food was good and the cobbler dessert was fantastic, but we were too full to finish it (maybe because I had consumed all my beer). They offer taste testing if you're unsure which beer to order. Our server, Emily, was wonderful and one of the managers even stopped by to chat with us. The atmosphere was very casual and friendly. It's best to make reservations if you want to avoid a wait. Those who arrived at 6:30 had a 20-30 minute wait, but by 7:30 on a Friday night there were open tables available."

"After a long day we decided to go to the Keg for dinner as it was directly across from our hotel. We were seated right away and our drink order came quickly but after that our sever became very distant and it took half an hour for her to come back to take our food order. She would check in on the surrounding tables but completely ignored us even after repeated attempts to catch her attention and we all made direct eye contact a few times. Our menus were even closed and off to the side so there was no confusion. A table that got sat 20 minutes after us had their meals by the time we got our bread basket! After that hiccup and our order finally taken things were fine again, we got our food soon after and everything was cooked nicely. It was a very odd start though and very unusual for the Keg."

"Seems the menu changed a bit since we were last there and nothing really stood out though we both had a good meal. Our waitress was very polite and friendly and did a good job. One small pointer to her would be to pour a tasting of wine first off to the individual who ordered it rather than 2 full glasses. ..that way it can be tested for palatability, etc."

"I visited Mesh for the first time last week, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! My server, Kaela, was the most genuine, kind, and polite server I have ever encountered. The food was fantastic, but the service was even better! Kaela always approached our table with a big smile and was incredibly attentive. I can honestly say that this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Louisville, and I will definitely be returning!"

"I would give this restaurant 3 stars as it was just okay. Unfortunately, almost every dish needed more salt and spice. We started with the deviled eggs, which were decent. The smoked salmon and caviar were good, but lacked herb flavor and salt. The pepper added to the dish was not spicy and just crunchy. The lobster bisque was enjoyable but nothing out of the ordinary. The steak was disappointing as it was bland and unseasoned. Even the side of asparagus was lacking in seasoning - no pepper, salt, or anything except oil. The restaurant was busy with large tables, likely for a conference, so the service was slow. The kitchen staff serving plates on the floor led to some confusion with our order being brought to other tables. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 6.5 to 7 out of 10 - just okay."

"First thing, Aesha was our server and she was great not only was she dealing with her tables but she was also keeping an eye out for the entire dining room and wasn't lacking in quality service for her own patrons. The food really hasn't changed much since the last time I visited a keg which is probably the reason that I haven't been back in 6 or so years but it's still good quality product.My food allergy was noted and taken seriously and not once during the meal did I feel like I needed to question the quality control. Most excellent.If I had a complaint it is directed towards the person(not Aesha)that was taking care of one of my major pet peeves. When I put a used dish on the side of the table I expect it to be picked up by the first person walking by. That is exactly what this person did BUT she decided that she would clear part of the table as well while my two dinner companions were still eating. Next time just take what's piled on the side and if your not sure, ask. Don't get me wrong I'm glad she took the plate but she just went a little to far.It was a great dinner and from the first phone call to make the reservation to paying the bill it was a great experience ."

"Food was delicious. Love the choices for food and drinks and it all tastes amazing. I’ve been there before, in general love the ambience but it was very loud. Could’ve been where we were seated near a larger group of loud people, could’ve been the acoustics that we have not realized before. I was a little disappointed in the delay in service when we initially got there. Several people walked by us helping other tables and we were not even greeted with as much as water. Another waitress kindly realized that when we noticed she was serving a table with bread and water and that table had shown up a good five minutes after we had. Just saying hello and bringing waters and bread even if you can’t do anything else is a nice gesture. But to have our own waitress walk by us to address other tables without even saying hello until she did that it was a little disappointing. Otherwise everything was great and we would certainly come back."

"My husband and I went into the restaurant for dinner and had a great experience. The executive chef did an outstanding job cooking my shrimp scampi. The shrimp was perfectly cooked (not overdone) and the sauce was Just as complimentary to the dish. The executive chef kyle came out to check on my husbands and my dish, which I thought was above and beyond service. I recommend the restaurant for those looking for a great meal and view!"

"In the city , great location . First time here . There's a bit of hype about this place apparently .. Got a gift card from work , thought we'd check er out .. Parked out back , Marriott and The Keg are in same building. Dark spot walking in! Ambiance! Greeted nicely, asked to sit and wait for a brief moment. Sat in a booth , cozy and private. Good/classy atmosphere and great service. Started with a Heineken on tap , was flat ahhh but got a Belgian Moon and did the trick. We both got caesar salads with our main courses, and were served those first.. would be nice to have mild/medium/hot option for garlic meh.. then came warm/soft home loaf mmm with butter.. then a few minutes later came the onion soup $10) .. delicious bold flavours with sherry and beef broth. Ordered top sirloin medium steak $38) and New York Strip loin medium rare $44) . Both were tender and juicy, and came with mushrooms, green beans , and garlic mashed.. Paired with Jackson Triggs Proprietors Selection $7.5 had with top sirloin) , and Three Thieves cab sauv $10 with New York Strip loin) Server asked how we were doing every so often which was nice . Washrooms were clean and pretty neat how you can walk by the kitchen on the way . Big spot in general. Nice night out!"

"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"My table was ready when I arrived and in a quiet part of the restaurant as requested for which I was very grateful. My guest arrived a bit late due to Santana Row closing garages due to Christmas shoppers however was promptly seated as the restaurant was packed solid at 8:00PM. Larry, our waiter, made outstanding suggestions for menu selections and we were over the moon with the dishes we were served! In fact, my guest who was a former United States Treasurer said she would come back again the food was so great. Dessert took quite a while to arrive at our table, however, given the Christmas season,shoppers and that the restaurant was packed we were still exceptionally pleased with our dining experience!"

"The Keg is my favorite restaurant in the area. Portions are big, service is always great, and the bread is AMAZING. I'd highly recommend getting a Keg Classic. A Keg Classic comes with a salad, an entree, a side, and a medley of vegetables. For dessert I'd recommend the chocolate cake. It's a shame there aren't more Kegs in the area, it really is an amazing chain! Parking: Parking is hit or miss. If you go early you should be able to find a spot. If you go during their busy hours parking can be difficult."
