"I’m absolutely frustrated with this experience. Spending $75 on Pompfret fish tandoori, two orders of Haleem, and corn kernels might not seem much to some, but when you pay that much, you expect quality and transparency. I later found out that the once-reliable Hyderabad House has been sold and is slated to close for renovations—or even a new chef—in a week or two. Had this been disclosed upfront, I doubt anyone would order, as it’s clear the focus on food quality has vanished. The Haleem was nothing short of a disaster: overly liquid, completely bland, and utterly disappointing. I specifically requested extra spicy for the fish, yet it arrived with a revolting odor of undercooked meat. The corn kernels were practically unsalted, leaving them as forgettable as the rest of the meal. Last year, I enjoyed a fantastic Haleem dinner from Hyderabad House Denver, but now it seems they’re just trying to use up the old stock before closing. I was hoping for a pleasant takeaway dinner, but instead, I ended up with a miserable, one-star experience. I can’t recommend their takeaway at all, and I’m left wondering if their dine-in service is any better. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1"
