"This spot once use to be a favorite for happy hour or entertaining out of town guests for brunch or dinner. We just had a Horrible interaction with the staff of 5 behind the bar as we arrived 10 mins after opening. I don’t understand how 5 individuals can ignore the only 2 people at the bar, but if you’re not ready to be a bartender talk to people then maybe find another job or get there earlier so you don’t look so ugly and bothered at the ask of doing your job..It was a group of the most pompous, arrogant, untalented service staff I have seen in a long time. I’ll stick to streeterville or river north locations. The only exception of the hostess Jocelyn who had the best attitude and was friendly and helpful. The only individual to say goodbye to us as we left. It’s sad to see a staple neighborhood spot be tainted so poorly by some washed up, unhappy bartenders who probably should just change careers instead of spreading such negativity at great places."
