"My sister and I were excited for our reservation here. In the past, I’ve visited many Eataly restaurant locations including both New York locations, Chicago, and Vegas. I’ve had wonderful times there. This experience, however, was a bit of a letdown. My sister and I came early and were promptly seated at 5:15. The restaurant was very empty. We immediately ordered a drink each and the Gran Tagliere. Our drinks came and someone dropped off a basket of bread at our table without asking if we wanted it. After about 15 minutes, two women were seated at a table across the way from ours. They then received an order of drinks and the Gran Tagliere shortly after being seated. My sister and I waited a bit longer for our own order but it never came and it became obvious to us that our order had been forgotten, especially since the two women had received theirs so quickly even though they were seated after us. It was incredibly hard to get the attention of our server. By the time the server finally came over to us, people who had been seated after us were already done with their meals. We asked our server about the status of our own and she was rather rude and dismissive about it “the kitchen’s working on it, I’ll check on it” . Finally, at almost 6pm, our sad little cheese board finally arrived. No apologies for forgetting our order, just an air of annoyance. The cheese board was fine, at that point we had waited so long for it that we just wanted to finish up and leave so we picked at it quickly and asked for our check even though we had originally wanted to grab a few drinks . To top the experience off, we noticed that we got charged $3 for bread on the bill. We had never asked for the bread in the first place so it’s weird that we were charged for the stale, hard bread that was abruptly left on our table. At that point we were sick of sitting around so we just paid the bill and left. Don’t think I’d revisit this location unfortunately."
