"First time coming here since I live in Aurora but decided to make the drive to Ft Collins and visit some people. I also wanted the chance to see the owners to see if they'd recognize me or not. I was one of their first customers when they opened up a sushi place on Prospect just after the train tracks basically a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Prospect Plaza apartments. I did happen to see Ji Yoon(sp? but not her husband Sung Won. Sadly, she didn't recognize me which I didn't wholly expect her to. My friends and I ordered a lot of food trying to sample a little bit of everything. We had the kimchi pancake to start. It was a bit mild for my taste but overall good enough where the kimchi didn't overpower the dish itself. We also ordered a rainbow roll and a candy cane roll. The candy cane roll was phenomenal. I was feeling a little risky ordering this since I'm allergic to shrimp, but luckily I had some Claritin in the car and popped a couple before chowing down. The description alone sold me on it. There's a piece of Fuji apple in it that gives the whole roll a bit of sweetness to it as well as subtly changing up the texture with the crunchiness from the apple. I wanted to try the Suh Special but decided against it as it felt like it would put us over the limit. We ordered a plate of sliced pork belly which was crispy, almost like bacon. I ordered a bowl of the Army Soup (budae jjigae which was pretty good, but not as good as a place in Denver that I frequent. Maybe since there wasn't any melted cheese in the soup? My friend didn't know what to order since she's leery of seafood because of the taste and texture of it, so I ordered a dolpang bibimbap for her. In hindsight I probably should've gotten her the dolsot bibimbap instead. The dolpang bibimbap is massive! It's so massive that I don't even think I could finish it which is saying a lot. Needless to say, she had to box it after finishing maybe a quarter of it. According to my receipt, Tao was our server. She was very helpful in providing insights into the differences between the dolsot and dolpang, but I wish she would've mentioned how big that dish was! Drinks were always topped off and she made the standard checks on us to see if everything was ok. If only I didn't live so far away, or if this place existed while I was going to college there, I'd frequent it more. I'd highly recommend this place if you live in Northern Colorado or if you're passing through!"

"Food was good but the service was lacking which made the overall experience not great. I went with my partner and we ordered 1 shumai as an appetizer, I ordered regular naengmyeon, my partner bibim naengmyeon and we ordered 2 meat entrees for the grill toshare. My partner got his bibim naengmyeon, but I had not gotten my regular naengmyeon so I waited until after they got themeat cooking on the grill before I inquired about it. I asked our waitress where my naengmyeon was and she left to check only totell me they were sold out. I was a little miffed they did not make the effort to tell me my order was sold out and I had to askto find out. However, this issue resolved itself as my partner ended up giving me the bibim naengmyeon as it was not to theirtaste. At the end of the meal and after we got the bill, we realized we never got the shumai. However our waitress was nowhereto be found and 10 minutes later, she came rushing back with a plate of hastily cooked shumai. It wasn't even separated from itsdefrosted form. She knew it was forgotten and apologized. That was okay, but we didnt want to eat the shumai anymore and askedfor her to take it back and take it off our bill so we could leave. However, the waitress started to argue with me. It was soodd because the waitress had such a nice tone but was very rude at the same time. She insisted we had to pay for an appetizerthey had forgotten about which only arrived until AFTER they gave us the check and we were ready to leave. I was pretty annoyedat this point as the communication from the waitress was pretty bad from the beginning but her arguing with me about theappetizer was just a little too much. I wanted to explain that she was being ridiculous but my partner and I decided to justpay and leave. Honestly wasn't that bad of an experience until the waitress argued with me about her mistake."
