"My friends and I came here on a whim after our original plan fell through due to power outages throughout Rockville, and it was pretty good but not outstanding. We ordered a ton of food and the bill came out to $200, which honestly was not too bad split across 6 people. Haemul pajeon: there was actually a decent amount of seafood in the pancake, and not just calamari, which I appreciated as someone who doesn't love calamari I know, criminal). The pancake was crispy outside and chewy inside. Mul naengmyun: I've been looking for naengmyun closer to DC because my usual spot in Ellicott City is just SO FAR. Unfortunately, this wasn't it for me. It was decent, but I wish the broth had just a little more flavor. I also had to ask for mustard and vinegar unlike most places that just automatically give it to you. Kalbi: This was tender and well marinated, but I wish they gave more considering the high price tag $40). There were two huge bones taking up space on the cast iron plate, so we really barely got any meat. Bossam: The pork was tender without being too fatty, and they also had a small serving of oysters on the side, which I've never seen before. I wish the cabbage had been cooked just a little more so it was easier to wrap meat in though. Banchan: kimchi was a bit spicier than other places. Everything else was fine but nothing stood out. Other things we ordered that I didn't try: dolsot bibimbap, kalbi dolsot bibimbap, seafood soondubu, and jajjangmyun. Service was fine, not super friendly but polite at least. All in all, it was decent but I probably would stick to eating Chinese food in Rockville and going to Virginia/Ellicott City for Korean food."
