"One of the great things about U Street is the wide array of food options available. Craving something flavorful, we decided to try Ethiopian cuisine. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, so we didn't have to wait long for a table, even though it was a Saturday night. While we were waiting, we ordered some Ethiopian beers; I was a bit let down that they didn’t have the Hakim Stout (although they did offer some lagers), which is incredible for bottled beer. As for the food, it was decent. The quality of the meat appeared to be good, but nothing really stood out to me. They did offer a raw beef dish (heavily spiced, of course) that was intriguing."
