"AMAZING FOOD!!! We came with a big group and was served quickly with amazing food. I recommend the Sambosa as an appetizer. The sambosa is flaky and taste good with lots of spices. Then we ended up getting unity platter with mixture of dishes both with meat and veggies. The next dish that came out is the Goden (beef ribs) it’s so delicious with the injira along with the mixture of spices that came with it. Definitely worth the try. We will definitely come back and try other dishes!!! The best part is the honey wine!!! It’s so good it taste like juice!!! 10/10 recommend trying this restaurant!!!"

The best Ethiopian food you can find! The service is incredible; the staff is very friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. I highly recommend it—you won't be disappointed! Biruk is fantastic!

I?m not quite sure what I choose, but it was delicious. The service was great, and portions were perfect. Don?t be afraid of the price it?s completely worth it. I will definitely come back to this family own restaurant. View menu

Very tasty and authentic Ethiopian food. Full bar and nice Ethiopian beer. Highly recommend! We had a Family Sampler, Fish and some additional meat dishes. Everything is meant to be eaten with hands, but utensils are available upon request.

The Ethiopian food here is fantastic, making it an excellent choice for group dinners. We had a party of seven and ordered two Unity Platters, which provided us with a generous amount of delicious food. It was the perfect way to sample a variety of dishes from the menu all at once.

Came to Dukem last night and ordered the family plate and it was delicious!! I?m not sure if it was the owner or chef but he came out multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our food and overall the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend Dukem and will definitely return in the future!! View menu

Not very friendly when we walked in, really hot and ac didn?t work, sat us at a table that was way too small for 3 people. Got our order wrong, didn?t check up on us. Food was bad and we have ordered from here multiple times never gotten a portion so small. Asked for 3 waters and they brought us water bottles and charged us 2 dollars for each.. there are better Ethiopian places with better portions. Avoid!

Edit: this is like the sixth or seventh time I get the veggie combo. There?s still new dishes!! Love it!! And still amazing service. Damn the veggie combo I?ve gotten three times each time it?s different and each time it?s 16 pieces of delicious authentic goodness. SO many flavors, some sweet, some meaty, spicy, fermented, fresh, just each bite bursts with something truly unique. It?s my go to takeout for the week. The staff is also nice. This place hits ALL the marks.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
