"It's difficult to assign a star rating to this restaurant because the food was quite good, and the server was friendly and attentive. However, during my most recent visit (Saturday, 1/2/21), the negatives overshadowed the positives, and I’ve decided not to return. There were two sushi chefs who were not wearing masks, as well as a bartender who was also unmasked. Although the sushi chefs were separated from their customers by a cooler that stored the fish, the bartender was in close contact with customers without a mask. The waitress had her mask below her nose, and there were no signs indicating that facial coverings and social distancing are legally required. When I asked the waitress about the mask policy, she admitted she was unaware of any such requirement. For context, Palm Beach County mandates that all restaurant staff wear masks properly over both their mouths and noses, and restaurants must display signs outlining these health regulations. It is unacceptable that an employee would not be informed about these legal requirements. I was genuinely disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite spots. They have recently added new tables with burners for hot pot, which is one of my favorite dishes, and I would have loved to support this establishment. However, their disregard for the health of both patrons and staff means I will not return until the pandemic is over or until I learn that they are complying with county COVID regulations."

"I have long been a fan of China Club. It had the best food for my money in Mansfield and a nice quiet atmosphere that was great for date night. My wife and I went to the new location for the first time, and I have to say I'm disappointed. The menu was much smaller and has moved away from strictly Asian fare into having some Italian and American pub food. The new location has more of a sports bar feel to it than fine dining. There were a lot of loud conversations going on and TVs with sports. There were also very few private tables and instead there are long tables with seats down each side for a more communal eating environment. Maybe I'm just oldschool about such things, but I'd rather have my own table so that my wife and I can have a more intimate experience. The service was quick and attentive, so no complaints there. The food was still good, but some of my previous favorites were no longer on the menu. My wife and I always order potstickers when we come to CC, so we did so again. Unfortunately they changed the recipe from more traditional steamed potstickers to fried dumplings. They were fine, but not what I was expecting, nor as good as the previous version. I was relieved that my goto order, Mongolian beef, was still an option, but when it arrived, it was clear that the recipe had changed. The meat was high quality tenderloin and had a good grilled flavor, but there was almost no sauce on it despite being served with rice, so it made the dish rather dry. Had I never been to CC before, I think I would have been satisfied, but I can't help but compare it to the old CC and find it lacking. I hope management will bring back some of what made CC so special and not try to make it a glorified Applebee's with a few Asian options"

"We went to Serai after seeing it featured on Checks Please!, a restaurant review show on PBS's WTTW station in Chicago. The food lived up to the reviews. We were a party of 6 and decided to order a variety of dishes and share them with the table. We started with appetizers: Roti Pratha and Cumin Lamb Skewers. You HAVE to order to Roti Pratha! The pancakes were out of this world and such a great accompaniment to the stew. For entrees we ordered: Serai Curry Laksa, a curry milk soup with chicken and noodles, a favorite of everyone; Rendang Beef and Lamb, with Lamb being the favorite of the two; Mango Chicken, chicken with mango in a spicy sauce. We loved the Curry Laksa and Rendang Lamb the best. We had no room for dessert, but the table next to us had the coconut milk pudding , served in a coconut shell looked very appetizing. Service was OK. They brought entrees out as they were ready which gave us an opportunity to get started on one before the next came out. They could have been more attentive to our desire to share by bringing serving spoons, and extra dishes without us having to ask. We were there on a Tuesday evening, so it was not crowded or loud. The website does not show that they offer alcohol looks BYOB but they do offer drinks beer, wine, mixed drinks. We will definitely come back, if for nothing else, the Roti Pratha and to try the dessert! Parking can be a challenge as much of the side streets are permit parking and Milwaukee has bike lanes."
