"Let’s also talk about the cleanliness and the great sense of humor of the owners, āyí and shūshu! Shūshu, in particular, is quite the jokester! A big thank you to them for giving us free Thai iced milk tea to take home for our kids. We’ll definitely return to try more of their menu, especially the salt and pepper shrimp.
By the way, I'm not sure why people have warned us to stay away from certain areas of SacTown—it's not like it’s Singapore! While it has its rough spots, so does America in general. I'd argue that this is one of the most welcoming places we've encountered, comparable to our experiences in South America, Asia, the East Coast, SoCal, and the Bay. People just need to mind their own business!"
