"The food is standard breakfast fare no complaints there. The staff is nice. But I've been here twice now and my friends have been many times since they live in a nearby neighborhood and we all share the same experience extreme wait times. Prepare for this to be a 3 hour long experience on the weekend. The wait times are double what they quote you when they put your name on the waitlist. If they say 20 minutes, it will be 45. They don't take reservations or allow you to list yourself ahead of time. If the kitchen is backed up, which it often is, they will slow their output and seating of people. The food will also take a very long time to come out when they do this. Meanwhile there are empty tables in the restaurant. Clearly they are ill prepared to meet the demands of their restaurant at capacity and don't value their customers time. By the time our table was ready this recent time my friends couldn't stay and wait for the time it would likely take for food so I canceled our table and ate at the bar by myself.As a response to the message I received, I have worked in hospitality for the last 10 years. Which is why I feel this is not right. It is obvious that this happens every single weekend so there's really no good reason to be dishonest with your customers about wait times if slowing down the kitchen is routine practice."

"If you don't have a huge appetite, the portion sizes are sufficient for 2-3 people. The eggs were neither rubbery nor artificial, and I really enjoyed their turkey breakfast meats. It's definitely worth trying. Unless you're dining in, I don't think it's fair to expect your food to be piping hot, so I was pleased that it was still pleasantly warm. The chocolate milk was refreshing and nice and cold! There were plenty of condiments provided without me even asking, although I would suggest adding Sriracha ketchup. The only downside was that the bagel was a bit disappointing. I will definitely order from here again!"

"It’s not often that you get this level of service. I had the eggs Benedict always my breakfast go to) and it was cooked perfectly. I might not have toasted the muffin as much, as it makes it hard to cut with a butter knife. But that’s being nit picky. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which he really enjoyed. The biscuits were not dry and crumbly at all. Just the way we like them. My daughter had the avocado toast and eggs. She went out of her comfort zone and was so glad she did. All of us sampled each of our plates and everyone was pleased. I would definitely recommend this establishment. I already have and only went there this morning."

"This is easily becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots. I got a breakfast burrito, cheese grits and a side of eggs. Everything was delicious, warm and cooked quickly/correctly. Grits can be very hit or miss in restaurants and these were perfect. Id like to mention I ordered at 6 am so Im very pleased with the quality of my food."

"To start, our waitress Ashleigh was amazing and super helpful so that's the ONLY reason why I'm giving 2 stars. To start the food was mid the whole time, cheap considering how much me and my fiancé ordered. Then as I finished my food, I watched an order gentleman with glasses in the kitchen BARE HAND every single food item that was being put out to be served. Touching bread, bacon, pickles, the paper order slips, everything. I've read other reviews and they give high praise, but I don't think any one has sat at the bar like I did to see this happen in front of me. Immediately the food was gross to me because I had no idea If he had touched mine and my fiancés, and then on top of that, I got a water refill and it had apiece of hair in it. I'm confused why he was exempt from wearing gloves when everyone else in the kitchen had gloves on. Again, it was cheap food for a reason. Will not be going back."

"Coffee was cold, eggs were so over done they had a brown crust. Whatever seasoning they put on the home fries is strong and ruined the taste of the other items on the plate. "I got the southwest hashbrown bowl without the jalapeños…bc I just wasn't ready for that much heat that early. It was so delicious. The bowl was full of hand cut potato cubes cooked to perfection. My eggs were cooked just the way I like them. All the toppings together were so filling. Garret, my server was so attentive. "First of all, I have to say that the customer service at this location is excellent. Ms. Bianca was fantastic and very attentive. A lovely black woman with light brown hair welcomed us as we arrived. I visited on a Tuesday morning around 8:30, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated quickly. The menu had plenty of options, and I especially enjoyed my cranberry mimosa. I ordered the "Grand something," which came with grits, bacon, eggs, house fries (or what I would call breakfast potatoes), sausage, and toast. I found it a little strange that they referred to breakfast potatoes as "house fries," as to me they looked more like hash browns. "This was my first time visiting this particular Eggs Up Grill. The service was amazing as the server was knowledgeable and friendly. The place was not packed when we arrived, but as we sat the crowd grew. The turnaround time from the time we ordered our food was not bad at all. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious."
