"I went in on a Sunday morning by myself to have breakfast. Instead of taking up a table for the busy morning, I decided to sit at the counter. About five minutes after I sat down, a gentleman sat next to me and was quickly waited on by a server. I sat for another five minutes with no one taking my order or even recognizing that I was there. Absolutely the best blueberry pancakes in town! Tina provided outstanding service, and we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. A perfect 10/10—I'll definitely be returning!

Our server Tina was a gem. She really held the place together when food runners and the back of house were overwhelmed and sent out only half our order. Once it was all there, the food was delicious.

Favorite breakfast spot! Food is reliably good. Classic breakfast options, but also quite a few unique choices. Like my Santa Fe Chicken omelette, delicious! My husband had a waffle breakfast sandwich. Prices are fair! Also… they give you REAL butter. Our server Sarah Beth was sweet!

ORDERED UBER EATS. IT WAS HORRIBLE. THEY THROW YOUR WAFFLE ON THE EGGS WITH CHEESE INSTEAD OF USING PAPER TO SEPARATE LIKE EGGS UP IN LADSON. THEY ALSO USE THE CHEAP SYRUP. NOT LOG CABIN LIKE THE OTHER EGGS UP AND WHEN I ORDERED YESTERDAY THEY GAVE ME NO SYRUP AT ALL. Horrible. Just go to the one on ladson. View menu

We absolutely love this restaurant! Since relocating to the area, it has become one of our go-to spots, especially for breakfast and brunch. Today, we were especially impressed by our server, Tina. She was attentive with the coffee and incredibly friendly, matching the excellent service we consistently receive here.

First time eating here at this location. I ordered a side of grits, pancakes and a lemonade for a late breakfast/early lunch. The pancakes were so light and fluffy and were the best tasting pancakes that I have ever eaten. Everything was delicious and I was very impressed. Tina, my server, was very friendly and made my dining experience even better with her amazing smile! She is truly an asset to the business. I look forward to dining here again very soon. Thank you, Jeffery S Thomas

"I just have one word that describes my experience here. WOW It was an absolute experience coming here. We were in town for my birthday and decided to eat here for my bday dinner/last night in Charleston. The vibe and atmosphere were classy, fun, and calming. They have a main bar area where you can grab a drink while you wait for a table and can be quite lively later in the evening. The dining rooms are towards the back, a lot quieter and more intimate so has a flavor for whatever you are into. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server (I wish I would have gotten her name she served our party of two at 10pm on Saturday 8/17) was so insanely friendly and personable. She knew her stuff and then some when it came to presenting the menu, but also would come chat with us and give us tips and recs for Charleston as she knew we were from out of town. They also gave us a free cheesecake and glasses of champagne on the house for our celebration. Just overall made us feel incredibly special and welcomed (we don't normally eat at places like this lol). The food, omg.....I am not overstating or being hyperbolic.......this was hands down without a doubt the greatest steak I have ever had in my life. Nothing even comes close. I had the Dry Aged Ribeye, and it has completely ruined steak for me because nothing will ever be that good. My girlfriend got the Filet, and it was in the same ballpark. Just legendary. We also got a side of the lobster Mac Cheese and it was fluffy with a perfect crust on top. Amazing flavor and texture. If you ever have the opportunity to dine, do yourself a favor and go. This was one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience to the wait staff, the chef, servers, everyone there played a part and gave me a memory I will hold onto forever. Thank you!!"

"My fiancé and I were engaged on 12/22/17 and he planned our solemn dinner with Circa 1886, and it was nothing less amazing. Charles was our waiter and delivered the best service we had ever experienced. The next day we even called the restaurant to rave over our experience. The service was like a clockwork, but we were not rushed. Our glasses were never half empty and our cutlery was replaced by any course. We received free champagne regularly $34/glass) and customized congratulation menus to start the meal. All the questions we had on the menu were answered and Charles gave great suggestions for meals. I ordered the Intermezzo cocktail and my fiancée ordered the famous Scotch cocktail, both were great. We ordered the scallops and the beets and chèvre as starters. The scallops were cooked for perfection. Very buttery and melt in your mouth - I wish more than 2 came on the plate! The beet and the Chèvre were exquisite with cool goat cheese sauce. We ate every bite. 2 bite-sized free snacks were provided by the cook - one was a spoon with a cheese cube, almond and cherry, the other was a divided Lima bean soup. YUM. As for dinner, my fiancée did the 5 courses tasting menu beef pate, heirloom tomato salad, pheasant, lamb, pumpkin soap) and he enjoyed everything. The portions were generous and Charles gave me additional plates so that I could choose the different dishes. I ordered the triple potato gratin I am vegetarian and it was from this world. Very sweet and delicious. Charles then surprised me with a free dessert course of the Smores). Both plates were decorated with congratulations in chocolate - it was a very special note. When we included the $200 check with a generous tip) we felt like the experience and the food was worth 100% the money. We will definitely be back and would recommend everyone and everyone."
