A light, savory broth containing delicate wisps of egg, often flavored with hints of soy sauce and topped with green onions.

"The hand roll was disappointing, as they used low-quality nori and served it last instead of first. The nori was tough and hard to chew through. The duck soup broth was too strong and salty, and the noodles were clumped together. The Thai salad was unimpressive, mostly just vinegar with raw vegetables and stale peanuts. The bill came to $41 before tip. The table waiter was helpful, but the other staff members were loud and distracting. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, I was seated at a dark corner table instead of near the sushi bar or the aquarium."

"Outstanding! It was a fantastic experience. I have traveled all over the world, and this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was so delicious that I almost licked my fingers! We ordered the ribs, Mongolian beef, and eggplant dishes. The restaurant was sparkling clean, and the owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The service was quick, and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you, we will definitely be returning."

"You can eat inside here right now. The restrictions have not yet been implemented here in South San Francisco. There's typically seating here available, occasionally you may have to wait for 7 to 10 minutes. The spacing for the seating is accurate and to code. There are restrooms available and a parking lot. It is handicap accessible. The food here is maybe a 3.5 out of 5 for dim sum. However I should point out I have a very refined palate. It would most likely be a 4.5 out of 5 for most. The pricing is very affordable here and the staff is very friendly. Occasionally it might be hard to get a refill of tea but it's understandable seeing the volume of orders they have to make. In a day the chef told me they make over 4,000 orders. This is a very popular takeout and delivery location as well as dining in. I typically like to eat their deep fried noodles or an organ dish, but for the less brazen customers I recommend just ordering dumplings."

"Located in a very interesting Asian shopping center, this authentic Chinese restaurant is defiantly worth the drive, especially if you are staying near Disneyland. Fresh seafood taken directly from tanks near the kitchen. Prices are not bad, and service was friendly. Food was very good. If you are looking for run-of-the-mill Chinese food, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience, with an unusual extensive menu and fresh food, then give this place try!"

"We ordered the vegan BBQ pork buns (with meatless chicken), the turnip cakes with meatless chicken, braised tofu with bok choy, and the mandarin eggplant with meatless chicken. The food was delicious. Good vegan turnip cakes can be really hard to find and these had great texture and flavor from the meatless chicken. The BBQ pork buns were good but not the same level as we’ve had in NYC. The braised tofu had amazing texture and came with some really flavorful mushrooms. The mandarin eggplant was my partner’s favorite. It was very flavorful but not very spicy. I would definitely come back. #Veganuary Protip: if you order vegan buns, make sure they have a red dot. They accidentally brought us animal parts the first time but then corrected the mistake. Updated from previous review on 2024-01-29"

"We stopped by this restaurant for dinner because it was convenient, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the basics - chicken and pork teriyaki, and my wife had chicken yakisoba. Although we initially thought the prices might be a bit high, we were pleasantly surprised when we received generous portions and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. This made it a good value for us. Additionally, both dishes were better than what we have had at other restaurants. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and there was a steady stream of takeout orders being picked up, indicating that the restaurant is popular among locals. The dining room was almost at full capacity, confirming that there is something special about this place. We would definitely recommend it!"

"It appears that there may have been a language barrier at this restaurant. I requested a few combo plates, but the staff just nodded and said it would be 15 minutes. When it was time to pay, I found that the prices were higher than other places, but I decided to give it a try. I waited in my car and received a minimum of 15 pounds of food, including a whole plate of rice, a whole plate of chow mein, and large side dishes. The food was actually amazing when I tried it, but despite that, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant."

"No way, buy the ticket take the ride. First and last time. Pot stickers were OK. Chow mein bad, house chicken bad, some meat thing we had bad. Hot Sour soup good. Service nothing special or memorable. Delivery seems to be the thing here. Basically only been here this one time. If your house chicken is blah then try something dont just leave it that way. Delivery delivery delivery"

"Food quality/quantity and price is why I only give it 2 stars. We were pretty disappointed in the “small” amount of combination fried rice in a to go order for the price. Plus the price of the sesame beef, huge price for little quantity. Crabrangoon was tasteless too, no flavor! Fried rice wasn’t very tasty unless you add lots of soy sauce. If you have to add a lotof soy sauce, it’s not a flavorful fried rice. The sesame beef was not spicy at all, didn’t even have a slight kick, I hadfried rice instead of white rice on the side of this dish…there wasn’t even egg in the fried rice side, it was just brown incolor and tasteless. All that we ordered in total was the combo fried rice, sesame beef, and crab rangoon…our total with a 20%tip was $53.26. Terrible and expensive! I’d prefer to go to a good, tasty, more authentic Chinese restaurant for that price, not a good price for good ole American made Chinese food that doesn’t have much flavor. The fortune cookie quotes were noteven fortunes just generic no brainier sayings…strange. People who work there were nice though, they have nice chop stickstoo. I will not return to this location due to food quality and quantity at the price they are charging. I gave them 2 starsbecause the people were nice at the business."

"I love this place!!! It's close to where I live now (just recently I moved to Lincoln City), and I was thrilled to find a Chinese restaurant that was actually open until 10 am! Most of the restaurants here near earlier, unless there is a bar that also serves food (and some are all right). It is also located directly opposite the street of DeLake Beach, which is beautiful. I arrived at 9:00 and sat right away. The guy who sat me was very nice, and immediately brought me water and a pot of hot tea (they do not charge for tea on the way). The menu showed quite a lot of variety and I loved all meal options, also for dinner. I have the #11 with shrimp, rice, pork and almond chicken, and it was delicious. The ambience in the restaurant was welcoming and comfortable. I felt like I finally found a place where I could hang around for a long time and swallowed hot tea and nobody would mind. This is the kind of space. I'm sure I'm back and I'll bring friends and family when they visit me!"

"Overall: I used to come here specifically for their Gan Ba Chicken Wings before they renovated a couple years ago. Returned to see if their Gan Ba Chicken Wings are the same and to check out their Vermicelli bowls, both were good for a HK cafe spot. Everything is priced reasonably, quick yet friendly service, and clean setting. Would come again to try the HK food!Food: The Vermicelli with Lemongrass Chicken and Imperial Roll $11.95) had all the toppings peanuts, fried garlic, green onion) that I appreciate. The chicken was cooked well with good flavor; however, I didn't taste any lemongrass. The imperial roll is not the kind I usually receive from Vietnamese restaurants, which have a different skin and contain meat. I personally feel that the egg rolls at Jo Jo's are on the oiler side. Although the Gan Ba chicken wings $13.50 for 10 pcs) are not the same as they were 5+ years ago, they were still plump, juicy, and fried to a nice crisp. The sauce was neither too thick or thin and I kept going back for more of it, especially to dip my vermicelli. I had one bite of my friend's garlic noodles which were flavorful and had good texture/firmness; I definitely prefer these over Perilla."

"Food tasted good. Online menu is out of date. Prices are much higher when you go to pick up your food than what?s shown online. Kung Pao chicken had lots of celery. Normally it comes with zucchini. Didn?t get any zucchini. The online menu shows options other than white rice. If you order anything other than white rice you get charged additional $4.50 and you don?t get the white rice. I attached the current menu to help people understand how much they are going to spend."

"Best shrimp egg food young I've ever had. All of the food was delicious.. Would definitely recommend people people get their Chinese food there. My sister had the spicy shrimp dish and is picky about what kind of vegetable she likes. They took a list of like 5 no can do veggies and they accommodated with a smile. The appetizer platter was also huge and fantastic. When I'm in these parts again I will definitely return near the San Xavier mission check it out."
