"Pricey! I visited this place today since I was craving a menudo with granos I didn't expect to pay that much for a menudo plate and a soda oh well I guess everything is going up these days! I was charged almost $20 plus my $3 dollar tip.now let me talk about the food...from the place I'm from in Durango Mexico we are used to eat the menudo with French bread ? that was the first disappointment because they don't offer you bread at all! Just tortillas, the second disappointment is the smelly menudo, not sure that smell is because they don't wash the menudo as good as they should but that's seems to be normal at all restaurants that I have tried menudo so far, over all the food was acceptable and service was okay but I guess I'm not coming back again, because they didn't meet my spectations"

"I visited this restaurant on Sunday morning to support a small business instead of the fancier places across the street. I was a bit confused about the prices of the bagels and sandwiches, so I decided to play it safe and just ordered a bagel with cream cheese. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. The bagel seemed like it was bought from a vendor and lacked that fresh texture and flavor. The cream cheese also didn't taste like the real kind you typically find at a bagel store - it seemed more like Philadelphia cream cheese. After eating it, I felt a bit disappointed and nostalgic for New York. The shop also appeared crowded and dusty, which was a bit off-putting."

"The food here is AMAZING! We have been in Chicago just over 24 hours and had two fantastic meals here everything was excellent and Nestor was great help in choosing and getting us exactly what we had in mind. The Funky Monkey Fries were absolutely the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in months and so fresh with interesting flavor combinations. Highly recommend! The Mexican Pho is addicting we had it with chicken get the large bowl, your going to LOVE it! The Curry Sweet Potato Fries were the best sweet potato fries ever delicious! Also very much enjoyed a Chorizo, Egg Cheese Banh Mi breakfast sandwich! Two carnivores and one vegetarian all agreed this is some of the best flavor profiles in our experience we’d come back to Chicago just to eat this fabulous food again!"

"I usually don’t do this but after the level of disrespect that I received on Friday night, I would be remiss if I didn’t. After reading all of their good reviews, I placed an order for delivery and paid with my credit card. I was told that delivery would be a while but I ordered anyway. After something came up and I had to leave out, I called to cancel my order. A man named “Anthony”got on the phone and went on to chastise me for canceling. I assured him that I needed to leave and had no other choice. He not only threatened to not return my money but yelled to me “Dont ever call here again, and I think you’re full of s then hung up on me. I was extremely shocked and disappointed at his level of horrible customer service and disrespect. Would not recommend!"

"On my first visit to Gaetano's I decided to try their Philly cheesecake sub. I used to live on the east coast and remember how amazing these can be if done right. I can't say this was the best sandwich of that kind I've ever had, but it was the best I've had since I moved out of the region. Someone else in my family tried the Godfather sub, which looked even better, with very generous portions of meat along with other condiments. Next time I will have to try that one. The parking lot for this shop is only accessible from the side street so it is easy to miss if you're driving down the main road, so watch close for the turn."
