"I visited this restaurant on Sunday morning to support a small business instead of the fancier places across the street. I was a bit confused about the prices of the bagels and sandwiches, so I decided to play it safe and just ordered a bagel with cream cheese. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. The bagel seemed like it was bought from a vendor and lacked that fresh texture and flavor. The cream cheese also didn't taste like the real kind you typically find at a bagel store - it seemed more like Philadelphia cream cheese. After eating it, I felt a bit disappointed and nostalgic for New York. The shop also appeared crowded and dusty, which was a bit off-putting."

Have been trying to find out for awhile until recently. Wanted to try out their NY genuine pastrami sandwich. Ha d to find good ones in the bay area. Not bad at all. Will go back.

My main reason is the owner is such a nice man . I rather support the small business and he is the poster person for that perfect mom and pop spot. It's one ofy show off places when I have out of town guest .

I’m really shocked by the positive reviews. This restaurant is filthy. Pans and filth piled high, dust and grime everywhere. The man, although pleasant, was touching everything and then started making my food with dirty filthy ungloved hands. It was rather appalling. I would not recommend.

I really want to rate this place higher because in the past I've enjoyed the food and the service is great. Unfortunately the breakfast burrito today was so salty it was almost inedible. I would've thrown it away in all honesty but I needed to catch the train and wouldn't be able to eat for a while. I'm sure it would have been great otherwise but the salt was horrible. I hope the owners see this and adjust how they add salt because this is a great place most days.
