"I spent $78 on 4 chicken parmesan dinners and a chicken vodka sauce at this restaurant. The chicken was so thin and overcooked that we couldn't eat it, and my father-in-law couldn't even chew it. I contacted the restaurant and all they said was they would take care of us next time. I was disappointed that they didn't address the money I spent this time. The last two times we ate there were terrible, even though previous visits had been great. When I suggested maybe they had a different cook, they said no. I am still disappointed that we couldn't eat the food and all they want to do is make it right next time I order. I think they should do it right the first time, especially considering I spent $78 and ordered for my employees as well. The meat was thin, hard, and looked old. I still have it in my fridge. I can't recommend this place and would suggest looking at pictures of the food before ordering."

"This is one of the best places to eat in San Jose. I'm not saying that they are a 5 star restaurant that will awe you with their incredible atmosphere. On the contrary, they are a small unassuming spot in a strip mall where every dish and each person welcomes you in with comfort and genuine flavor. On top of that, they have an entire counter full of beautiful and delicious sweets.I am not an expert in cuisine from India, so I can't tell you which region their menu best represents but over the few years I've had to enjoy this place I've noticed that a very large percentage of their clients are Indian. So they must be doing something right in terms of authenticity.Thankfully they truly seem intent on spreading the love of their cuisine with anyone that walks through the door. The staff is knowledgeable and graciously patient with all questions about the menu.Normally I would break down the meal we just had here but it honestly does not matter. If you enjoy Indian cuisine or are curious about it, come here.Vegetarian options: There is a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The Vegetable Biryani is delicious.Parking: This is a strip mall. There is a great deal of parking, but you might need to cross a bit of parking lot to get to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a Wheelchair accessible ramp up onto the sidewalk very close to the entrance. There are a few tables in he center of the restaurant that can be set up for people with limited mobility.Dietary restrictions: They are very good about answering questions concerning ingredients and substitution when possible."

"Absolutely wonderful! I had a last-minute catering order for a technology event, and they saved the day! The food was wonderful (healthy and fresh sandwiches, goat cheese and beets, chips, salad, and fresh lemonade and iced green tea . Everyone raved about how fresh and delicious the food was and how much better the spread was than the normal corporate buffet. The staff is truly remarkable. They went above and beyond in placing a rushed catering request, helping me order, notifying me when prep started, when they were leaving to deliver, and when they got to the venue (on time! . Truly a gem for team lunches. 10/10 will be a repeat customer."

"If you’ve been following my profile, this is part two of our exploration of Indian street food. The setup at Eggholic is quite similar to that of Honest, which is just next door. However, the menu differs primarily due to the meat options available. Like EggMania across the street, Eggholic focuses on egg dishes and doesn’t offer any Indo-Chinese items like Honest does. Since we had already eaten rice and Keema earlier, we decided to try the drinks, wraps, and sandwiches this time. The Lassi was fantastic — light and not overly sweet, with a refreshing yogurt flavor complemented by various nut shavings. I absolutely loved the Samosa Wrap; the wrapper was flaky, crunchy, and chewy all at once. The chicken masala sandwich also deserves high praise — the spices in the meat were just right and paired perfectly with the garlic cheese and onion spread. I just wish I had a bigger stomach to enjoy more, but I suppose I’ll have to wait until next time!"

"I had to leave with my kids immediately. The selection of donuts was very limited, and the few that were available looked stale. There were flies all over them! My daughter pointed out, “There are flies in there,” to which the woman just said, “Oh,” and waved her hand as if to shoo them away. It was clear she had noticed the flies all along but didn’t acknowledge them until my daughter mentioned it. I felt embarrassed that my daughter spoke up, but kids will be kids! On top of that, it was quite dark inside. They really need to open the curtains and let some sunlight in. It felt like walking into a messy, unkempt relative's house. Overall, it was absolutely disgusting and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend going there until they recognize the need for improvements."

"It's hard for me to know how to rate this experience because based on other reviews I believe this diner could have been a totally different experience on another day. We spent an hour and a half here for lunch, and only had food for the last 15 minutes of that time. They were extremely short staffed and only had one waitress with a lot of customers so I know she was doing her best and she did well at managing everything. I believe there was only one cook and one person to clear tables so I can't blame them for the slow service and I'm thankful we had lots of time to relax and enjoy the experience anyway. The food wasn't amazing and the fries were cold but it was decent and a good serving size. They don't accept credit cards but do accept Venmo, Cashapp and cash so there are good options for paying and the prices are extremely affordable, we payed $50 with tip for 4 people."

"This place is fantastic! It’s a one-stop shop in Motown for all your college needs. Personally, I get all my meals here—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, I recommend the EVERYTHING BAGEL with Speck, eggs, cheese, and hash browns. It's delicious, and the best part is, they serve it all day long. For lunch, I absolutely love the Philly cheesesteak; it’s the best in the city! As for dinner, I always go for the CANTEEN SPECIAL, which is incredible. The staff is helpful and friendly, making it feel like a party every time you walk through the doors of the canteen."

"I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it was prepared. The staff were warm and friendly. This was my first visit, and I noticed the restaurant was exceptionally clean and quite spacious. Their breakfast menu offers a fantastic variety of healthy options, especially for vegetable lovers. I decided to try a salad and a sandwich, and I can confidently say it was a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The vegetables in the salad were incredibly fresh, and while I loved the dressing, I would have preferred a bit more. Regardless, it was excellent, and I would definitely order it again. The sandwich was also fresh and tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed my smoothie choice. As a first-time customer, I was genuinely impressed with both the food and the service. The menu is truly outstanding, and after enjoying the salad and sandwich, I'm eager to try more of their offerings. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!"

"Went in for a quick bite and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We started off with the Masala Papad and then went on to order a few of their grilled sandwiches and Lava Paneer Pulav. Everything was delish! Our favorites were the Amdavadi Touch and Paneer Masala sandwiches. Decided to have their Rajwadi Lassi and Mango Mastani later which were outstanding. Highly recommend this place and I look forward to going there again; hopefully soon!"

"We decided to order from this restaurant because of the great reviews. But I was sadly disappointed. The food arrived warm. I ordered the chicken BBQ nachos (sorry folks, don 't like sour cream). The avocado was not a bright green, but ok, it was the evening avocado does not like to be left out. The BBQ chicken was very good. BUT...I was halfway through my meal when I found a used diabetic test strip and lancet in my food. I was mortified! That is just disgusting. It is also a health and safety issue. My son immediately called The Gather Inn Again, had to leave his name and number. The owner did get back to him today. Unfortunately the owner #jaimedenardomicucci (Instragram name) was extremely rude. We also call Uber, though we know they only deliver and they were floored that such a thing even happened! And P.S. Uber called us back today to see how things were and inquired about any health issues. A shout out to Uber for being kind and considerate throughout this ordeal. Unlike the owner. Thank you Uber. I posted the same picture here on Instragram and the owners response was totally unacceptable. I was going to copy paste her response, but then I thought better of it and screen shot her accusations and my response. She accused me of photoshopping the pic. And basically that I was lying. Why in the name of all the G ds G ddesses would I make up such a thing? I never ordered from you before. And it is not like I was a Karen and b*tched about a piece of hair in my food. This is appalling! This is a health and safety issue. This is not something that happens all the time. Hair in the food yes. Used test strips needles a hard NO!!! I was so sick about this all night. I went to the doctor 's today and he was very angry that a restaurant would just disregard something like this. He immediately tested me for HIV (highly unlikely but better safe then sorry) and Hepatitis A, B C (highly likely). I have to wait 6 weeks to see if any symptoms start to appear. So while she is accusing me of lying, I have wait 6 weeks to see if I am sick with something. So to sum up this drama.... A). I will NEVER order from this place again B). The owner is rude and totally disrespectable toward their customers C). Clearly they do not give a **** about their business"
