"My family and I went last night for my birthday. We got there around 7:25pm. I had called earlier in the day and the young lady stated last seating was at 730pm. From the moment we got there I got the vibe that the host/waiter was a bit overwhelmed. We decided to still go with it and dine in.He was not very welcoming and rushed us to order. We tried to lighten the mood by making jokes with him. I think he was just over working at this point.There was a pregnant young lady who had a welcoming smile. We did speak to her and she was pleasant.Another young man bought out our food and he was also friendly.The food I felt could have been better. I got the fried red snapper and it looked better then it tasted.My family was also not to happy with there dishes.I had very high hopes for this place."

"Mel Phil have been Blessed with the gift of making wonderful recipes that satisfy your soul. My wife and I love everything we've had so far! My favorite is the pernil. And my wife loves the Mofongo. The chicken sandwich is great as well. On top of great food is the ambiance. The decore, the qr code menus, and the sound of the rain forest in the bathroom. It's a complete experience where all the staff make you feel like family. Words cannot do this place any justice! YOU MUST GO! I promise you won't be disappointed!"
