"My family and I went last night for my birthday. We got there around 7:25pm. I had called earlier in the day and the young lady stated last seating was at 730pm. From the moment we got there I got the vibe that the host/waiter was a bit overwhelmed. We decided to still go with it and dine in.He was not very welcoming and rushed us to order. We tried to lighten the mood by making jokes with him. I think he was just over working at this point.There was a pregnant young lady who had a welcoming smile. We did speak to her and she was pleasant.Another young man bought out our food and he was also friendly.The food I felt could have been better. I got the fried red snapper and it looked better then it tasted.My family was also not to happy with there dishes.I had very high hopes for this place."

Excellent authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Probably the best in the entire NYC metro area. I highly recommend everything but am particularly fond of the Churrasco.

The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, and the food is delicious. I recommend making a reservation before your visit. It's great for groups of up to 8 people. I’ll definitely be back!

We visited this restaurant twice in one week. It’s that good ! Food is outstanding. Service is awesome. The chef made a dish for me that wasn’t on the menu and it surpassed my expectations. an exquisite example of what puerto rican should be fine / leisure food. the food was excellent, drinks were amazing, and the service was top notch. would I recommend? strong. (make reservations, or they can't be as happy as I just walked in. they quickly filled up)! I'll come back without a doubt. many, many more paints. muy delicioso!

I would recommend making reservations unless you're visiting on a less busy day of the week. This way, you can guarantee a table for your party. The menu selection is limited, but the outdoor seating and barbecue options are nice. The food was very good and well-seasoned. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, which felt a bit pricey. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy Hispanic cuisine.

Mel Phil have been Blessed with the gift of making wonderful recipes that satisfy your soul. My wife and I love everything we've had so far! My favorite is the pernil. And my wife loves the Mofongo. The chicken sandwich is great as well.On top of great food is the ambiance. The decore, the qr code menus, and the sound of the rain forest in the bathroom. It's a complete experience where all the staff make you feel like family. Words cannot do this place any justice! YOU MUST GO! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Wow the food is Trash i had the taste of puerto rico sampler and pure garbage old stale . The pina colada was also trash . First the pastellios were dry and old with no flavor. The acapura was hard old and no flavor at all ,looks like it was left there from last week.The yuca fries definitely not home made . The Goya frozen ones are better .As a puerto rican, im ashamed this place would serve this fake puerto rican food or be Bad at it NO BUENO. will i ever go or recommend this place oh hell No . On a side note my wife did have the mango salmon she said it was ok , just ok
