"We chose this place to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you are greeted and seated right away. The restaurant gives major Cozumel/Tulum vibes which are beautiful and in many ways culturally in tune. The DJ was playing a lot of reggaetón and pop, and the noise level is not at all excessive. It’s just right. We started our night with appetizers queso fundido shrimp empanadas paired with the spicy margarita and the como la flor martini. It blew us away. The drinks were delicious and the appetizers were in one word, BOMB. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. She did a great job at making recommendations that we did not regret listening to throughout our evening. For entrees, we had tacos gobernador de camarón, birria tacos, and because they were so delicious another order of shrimp empanadas. From the sauces to the generous portions to the delicious drinks, we were pleasantly surprised with our dine at Ay Mi Pa. It’s been awhile since I have been to a restaurant that does Mexican food justice. Love love love. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a good time, beautiful scenery, good music, thirst quenching drinks, and delicious food. I will definitely be coming back soon!"
