"We went to the special dinner for Christmas Eve. The Prix Fixe menu was interesting and varied. There were 4 of us. Most opted for red snapper in a polblano sauce. It was absolutely delicious. There was on dark mole tenderloin, cooked as requested and also delicious. The salads were complex and huge. Lobster/crab bisque was good, but not as outrageously good as the other courses. Best appetizer, baked oysters, Excellent flavor and balance and the presentation was beautiful. Chocolate mousse cake outstanding, bread pudding OK and rum raisin ice cream also tasty finished off the four courses. We'll be back"

Shrimp was awful…stopped eating it because we thought we would get sick. Slow service.

We love high-end Mexican food! Maize was phenomenal! Very unique dishes, beautifully presented. We live an hour away, but this will be one of our go-to restaurants!

Fantastic Mexican food. Happy Hour is a great value. Chef sent out a little gift to all while we were there(mini empanadas). Some of the best sason ribs and ceviche. View menu

The food was delicious and genuinely authentic, and the service was outstanding. My dish could have been served a bit hotter, but everything else was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning!

Tables around us received their food promptly. The waiter was very friendly and talkative with the people dining next to us. Wish we would have gotten the same treatment. Food took over 30 mins to arrive.

Great food selection to the palette far above the value. Attendees to our office holiday celebration were amazed their expectations were exceeded for the style of Mexican cuisine experienced. We may be dining here often as a group : View menu

Maize is my absolute favorite restaurant. Everything I've tried has been exceptional. The attention to detail and the high quality of all the ingredients make every dish unforgettable. I highly recommend the pork flautas, churros, and flan.

The dining experience was underwhelming for a place of this caliber. I requested that the heating be turned on near our terrace table, but it was not operational. It felt as though the restaurant wasn’t fully prepared for the New Year's Eve service. However, the staff was fantastic.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
