"I grew up eating dimsum at least once a week. When I moved to Phoenix and found out from my employee that this was the way to Dimsum Square in Arizona, I had to make a trip there! We went around the main time, the lunch time was (12 PM) during the weekend and the wait was only about 25 minutes (for three), which definitely was not bad! There were also ample parking spaces in the area. Usually for the traditional dimsum I had in the USA, there are servers that bring the shopping cart of items to your area/table. So I read the reviews before coming and it seemed like people had a problem with the customer service, but my experience was different. The workers were exactly as the workers are usually at Dimsum. I would even say that they were nicer than many other servers that I have seen in CA/NV area Dimsum places. When we sat, someone came by to give us the records and take our drinks orders. Our teacups were dirty, so we had to ask for a replacement they somehow replaced. This is common when in many dimsum sites, only politely let the servers know to replace. When the shopping cart server came, they asked us what we wanted in English and did not need to have overcome them. We definitely had every single car in the area coming at our end without much effort. And if objects we wanted weren't available on the car, they took our orders and helped us get the items from behind. All the articles we have ordered have tasted satisfactory and this is usually how I judge my Dimsum posts. If the service is not terrible and tastes everything they should be, then it is an ingenious Dimsum Square! Nothing tasted super amazingly delicious, but my favorites were the Custard Bo luo bao, BBQ pork prunes fun, Tofu shrimps and the Turnip cakes from this place. But for people who are new to dimsum, I would recommend to go with some friends to share the articles and try some of the following classics: Turnip cake, Cheong fun (three different varieties to choose), shu mai shrimp, shrimp dumplings (har gow), spare ribs with black beans, chicken feet, lotus leaf rice packs, egg slices, and buns. Will definitely come back if I like Dimsum and in the area!"

"Goodbye, Tangs… I just placed my last order with them. I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and while the food has often been good, I've noticed a gradual decline in both consistency and quality over the past few months. My latest meal included BBQ fried rice that was bland and lacking seasoning (this isn’t the first time). I also ordered chicken kow, but some pieces had a slightly pink hue (again, not the first time). Finally, I tried the broccoli with garlic sauce for the first time, but it had no garlic flavor whatsoever – it tasted more like a sweet brown sauce. Tangs really needs to reassess its kitchen and menu to get back on track, especially considering they charge a bit more for each entrée. If they want customers to pay these higher prices, they need to deliver premium-quality food."

"I placed an online delivery order for several Mongolian chicken dinners and included a special request, which they kindly accommodated! This has happened before when I asked for breaded chicken with my honey chicken order, which isn't their usual offering. This time, I made a different request and honestly didn't expect such thoughtful service again. "I have never paid so much for bad Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken is NOT sweet and sour chicken! It's more like BBQ smothered over cooked and fatty chicken. It even has peppers in it. My fried rice, which I had to order a full side of (at almost $7) bc they wouldn't substitute the white rice, was not even cooked all the way. The spring rolls were tiny and no different than the ones you can buy in the frozen section. My husband said the General Tso's Chicken was ehhh, same overcooked and fatty chicken with a different sauce. The Crab Rangoon is only 4 pieces... only 4! What a complete disappointment! And I paid over $50 for the jou of being disappointed"

"This is the best Chinese food around! Seriously, I'm not joking. There’s no indoor seating; it’s just a takeout place. If you let them know you’re eating in your car, they’ll even provide utensils. I absolutely love this spot. The roasted rice is amazing, and the crab Rangoon is delicious! All the soups are fantastic, and the Mongolian beef sets the standard for others. The General Tso's chicken is brilliant and reminds me of orange chicken. I could rave about this place endlessly. It’s a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, but it’s exceptionally clean. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly, and my food stays hot! We drove an hour to get there, and when we sat down to eat, the food was still steaming. If you're ever in the area and crave hot, delicious Chinese food, I highly recommend this place!"

"I ordered Hong Kong soup there was no spicy sign by the description and the waitress said she added pepper but a lot because my mouth was burning and the broth was sour.. ok so I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp it smelled off kind of sour sour so I sent it back didn't eat it and the owner tried to charge me 6.00 for the dish that I couldn't eat because I was worried about food poisoning especially with any kind of seafood in it. I don't recommend this place ... it seems they might be stretching there meat a longer than it should be. The waitress is very nice! To bad the food isn't good. Be careful if you decide to go there."

"My family and I have been ordering take out from here for the past 20 years. Amazing chicken broccoli and sweet and sour chicken but since being vegetarian have been a huge fan of their General Tso‘s Tofu and their veggie lo mein. And don’t skip on their smoothies too! Watermelon and mango are so good with or without tapioca. They have been a staple in Albany Park. Whenever I’ve come in for pick up or ate in, I’ve always noticed how kind the girl in the front is to every single person and even knows a good amount Spanish for a lot of those Spanish only speakers. "This place was there forever and that says a lot. I've been here since I met my Cape Cod friend when I was 15 and he brought me here. That was 36 years ago (and I married this friend). I love it and whenever we visit it is a popular place to stop. The decor is the old Chinese restaurant of the school. The music is soothing, the entrance is so nostalgic. The people who work there are very friendly and the prices are great. The food is so good and fresh that you want to try everything. Who needs to update? I love it as it is and hope they never update. It's nice to have a place to make you feel good. I also introduced my children and other family members here. "My husband and I carried out the chicken lo mein and the yellow chicken curry. Both were GREAT! The flavors were so tasty, the portion size was large and lasted the both of us for two meals, and it’s priced well! "If you have food allergies, be sure to communicate directly with the man in charge and not his wife. Despite informing her of my allergies to shellfish and nuts, and her agreeing to substitute these items in the sampler, I still received both. Additionally, after being notified that the chicken rangoon contained shellfish and the egg roll contained nuts, the staff apologized and replaced two orders of beef with shrimp. However, I narrowly avoided consuming the egg rolls and chicken rangoon, which could have resulted in a serious allergic reaction. To top it off, I ordered orange chicken but received orange beef instead."

"This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the Northwest. They are clean, quick, and kind. Whenever I go, I place these big orders for my family and they always manage to have it ready in 15 minutes or less. Everything is always fresh (mainly because this Chinese restaurant has the best business around the area). They are always cutting up vegetables, cooking rice, and making sure their customers get the best quality food. They have dishes with tons of veggies, which is great for a healthy lifestyle, and the best part is that IT TASTES GREAT! Their dumplings are filled with pork and you get an option of fried or steamed, both are delicious. Their fried rice has this golden color to it and it is a godsend."

"This place is the best food I have ever had in my entire life. Super kind staff with amazing menu prices! I come at least once a week always leaving a well tip as deserved. "I came here for the first time this week. I had ordered the Orange Chicken Special, which came with roasted rice, orange chicken and an egg roll. the eating looked good at the first sight, but after eating the half of the food I realized that some of the chicken was not cooked. it felt muddy and gooye. Some time later I felt really bad and realized that these young had fed me uncooked huh. I threw away the teller of the food and began to feel sick. I soon realized that I got food poisoning from this place. I can't recommend this place. the staff is not very hygienic, as a kitchen staff touched our bags to confirm if it is the right one. I also believe that the huh has expired, as most of the han in the regular crispy is when cooked. 3. juli, 2022 edit: after this written on the 3rd juli I woke up having a veneer pop on my eye, because I threw too hard in the hell, I recommend eating here again and again. 4. juli."

"The woman at the front desk, I’m assuming to be the owner. Is very rude. In short I’m warning you the bad reviews are not rumors they are truthful facts! I sometimes read the bad reviews and think they may be false but they are not when it comes to this place!!! You can read the story of what happened if you’d like but I would not order from here unless you want to deal with a very rude person for a very simple order.I first found this place through a Doordash order and saw it seemed nice and my mother really likes Chinese. The first time my mom put in an order she asked for extra bean sprouts, shrimp, and an egg in her shrimp fried rice she made sure to repeat that she wanted extra shrimp and bean sprouts as it is difficult to find them at some places and she really enjoys them. When I went to pick up the order the woman laughed at me and told me how my mother repeated the order multiple times and how she gave her a headache then goes just kidding as if that makes saying my mother gives her a headache is ok. At this time I just shrugged it off but when I got home the food didn’t have the extra bean sprouts and there were maybe 4 shrimp in the whole thing total. The second time we ordered, maybe 3 days later, my mother made sure to kindly repeat that she wanted extra shrimp and bean sprouts as it was missing the first time and once again when I went to pick it up the lady told me how my mother was a nuisance and gave her a headache then said just kidding again. Well guess what? We get home and one the food tasted old and it was missing the extra bean sprouts and shrimp again as it had like 3 shrimp in the whole thing!! So my mother calls them to kindly explain to the owner the she may want to ensure the the chefs are making the food fresh and adding what was ordered and the lady tells my mother “$15 does not make me any richer or poorer you can take you order somewhere else you are giving me a headache!” So my mom replies “Ma’am I’m not trying to be rude I just noticed that it wasn’t as fresh as the first time and it was missing what we ordered so I thought I should let you know” and the lady replies again “You are giving me a headache do not order from here again!” and hangs up.Back to what I was originally saying about how I found this place through door dash she was rude then too but I had ignored it at the time. I went to pick up the order and the owner was taking an order over phone and a young lady was standing next to her doing nothing so I asked the young lady if my order was ready and she replied that she would go check. As she begins to walk away the owner stops her and says no you will take this order and makes her take three orders over the phone while she (the owner) walks away and vanishes into the back somewhere. 20 minutes later she returns and asks what I want despite the fact that she knew why I was there and stopped the young lady from checking on the order for me. And yes, after this I had to wait another 15 minutes for the order to be finished."
