"My date I were impressed with both the large portions moderate cost of our dishes. My Tostada with chicken had every good thing in it was delicious! He enjoyed a Modelo with the Chicken Quesadilla plus a side House Salad which was very tasty and huge! My Margarita was so, so good. OMG! Loved this place including the cool decor."

"I took my mother-in-law to this restaurant a few weekends ago. We both ordered drinks and mole dishes. The drinks were okay, but my margaritas tasted more like juice. Unfortunately, our mole dishes were extremely salty, so much so that they were inedible. This was the first time I have ever had to send food back at a restaurant. We were disappointed as we had been excited to try this popular spot. We ordered the "manager's special" and only paid for half of the inedible food. However, it did not seem like they tried the food in the back to verify our complaint, as we still had to pay for the uneaten dishes. The service was mediocre. The restaurant is usually busy, so maybe looking into complaints is not a priority during busy nights. I hope that the other dishes at the restaurant are better since it is always packed. Overall, our experience was not great and I feel compelled to share it whenever I can. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50"

"Wow incredible experience once again! This is my second time here. Definitely by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Midwest and I eat a lot of Mexican food and travel throughout the USA. Best Mexican food of the 12 states I?ve been thru this season. See posted photos. Food so delicious you can?t stop eating and every bite is savored. Also ? I must comment that the customer service was also the best I have experienced in probably a year of any food service. I ordered take out and the moment I got to the bar, 2 people came up to me (one the first 10 seconds and the second one 10 seconds later) to check on the food. The bartender (evening shift) she was also amazing. Thanks and looking forward to coming back many many times!"

"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Both Leslie and Briana were incredibly friendly and attentive during our visit. The food was outstanding; I ordered the #1 combo while my husband chose the #10 combo. The menu offers a wide variety of items, so we'll need to come back several times to sample it all. The margaritas were also fantastic! I tried the $5 special margarita, while my husband opted for the Cadillac margarita, which packed quite a punch. We definitely plan to become regulars here."

"I didn't get the chance to visit Scott's Superette in person, but while I was in New Egypt with my son, we decided to order a burger. I opted for a Cheeseburger Deluxe and Garlic Fries for contactless delivery. First, let’s talk about the price. Considering the size and quality of the burger, it was definitely worth it. The burger was cooked to perfection—absolutely delicious! The fries were incredible as well! A small order of fries could easily serve two or three people. My suggestion is to order fries as a shared side rather than for each individual."

"I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and of course, I had to indulge in some chips and salsa! I loved every bite and may have overdone it a little—LOL. I hadn't had Tex-Mex in a while, so it felt like a lovely treat. My daughter chose the shrimp and steak fajitas, which looked amazing, while my mom opted for a variety platter. My husband enjoyed a dish of shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms in a creamy sauce over fish. My sister got the pork tenderloins along with her enchilada dinner. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I had a fantastic time, and our server was exceptionally attentive and kind. They also did a great job accommodating two of us in wheelchairs. Overall, it was a wonderful evening out!"

"This is at least the 3rd time we have eaten here. The family enjoys it. Might not be necessarily authentic and more of a chain feel... But the food is good and the atmosphere is great. This location in my opinion is much nicer than the others I have been to. It is very close to where I live so it's an easy commute. The food comes out quickly and my daughter really enjoyed the virgin strawberry daiquiri. We haven't had any issues with service either time we've been there. Sometimes paying the bill can get a little weird as they provide something. You can scan a QR code with to take care of it yourself but as I waited for them to return so that I can can the my card they didn't seem to come back. We will continue to frequent this location when wanting to not have to drive very far and needing a Mexican fix."

"I have a mixed review. The food was good! Our waiter, Ryan (I think) was super attentive and kind. He did an excellent job. I inquired about the ghastly mess on the floor and he expressed embarrassment and explained they were about half-staffed due to illness. I felt awful for the dude. I would hate to work under those conditions. I explained that I wasn’t blaming him. Later, as I was eating. A manager came around asking if everything was good. Table to table I watched her check up on people. Then… she even took a couple mins to lean against an unoccupied table. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean lady! I’ve been here before and will be back most likely, but the floor really does need cleaned throughout the day. EVERYONE has time to pick up trash. C’mon."

"Moctezuma is usually one of my favorite places to eat, but as of lately the care for details for pick up orders is seriously lacking. When I do order out it’s usually for company events at the hospital I work for. So I’m expecting the same attention to detail that I receive when I dine in. Yesterday I order the steak fajitas platter. I get a call and email that my 10pm request for pick up is too late. Even though that was a time option available on the website. I call at 9 tell them I’ll be there at 9:30 to pick up. I get there at 9:15 for my food not to be ready until 10pm like I had requested. I’m a little stressed and irritated at that point but let it go I say thank you and take my food to the event. To set up the food at work to realize it’s chicken not steak. Not that they could even do anything about it but I sent a email to L. Perez explaining the situation. Expecting a phone call the next day did not receive one. Had to call and be left on hold for 10 minutes to speak to a manager. I spoke with L. Perez for her not to offer anything, but an apology for wasted time and not receiving what I ordered. I asked what can we do to rectify this expecting her to offer my corrected order but offer 50 percent of my bill that I’ll get in 2 to 3 business days. Not happy at all with the service. And won’t uses them anymore for company events."

"I went in to order lunch here before a doctor‘s appointment. There online pricing was different than the pricing in the store so they gave me the online price, but then they were very rude about it while I was waiting on my food and the manager actually raised his voice to me from across the restaurant. As soon as I got my food I left and told them I will be putting up a review about how they treat their customers. There was no need for them to speak to me that way it was all handled everything was done. They informed me that if you order online you’re not allowed to eat in store. I’ve never heard this rule ever in a restaurant before I order my lunch online all of the time and eat in the restaurant. The manager at this location is completely unprofessional, and the food was only half as good as any other Taco y mas I have been to. The vegetables in the quesadilla were raw! Who uses raw, onions and bell peppers in a quesadilla? I’m very disappointed in the management here this location is filthy. No wonder it was completely dead when I win and during lunchtimeVegetarian options: The vegetarian quesadilla has run vegetables inside, and one had no veggies at all and hardly any cheese . It was like decided I wasn’t worthy of getting the entire meal or service. that you normally get at taco y mas . I am very disappointed in the management here."

"I ordered delivery online and found that three items were missing when my order arrived. The staff tried to explain the first two missing items, but when I mentioned the third item, I was transferred to the manager. He assured me he would resolve the issue and have it delivered. To my surprise, he not only sent the missing item but also remade the entire order correctly. I was genuinely impressed by this level of customer service, especially after the initial excuses."

"I adore this cozy restaurant. The Mexican food here is authentic and delicious. The chefs are all women, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is very casual and all the staff are fluent in both English and Spanish. One of the reasons I love this place is because it's only 4 minutes away from my house. They offer a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On a scale from 1-10, I would give it an 8."

"We LOVE Amie the new GM. We used to go to Mexican Inn the Keller location 2-3 times a week. Not because of the food, mediocre, but because of Amie. If something was wrong she fixed it, be it poor service or food. When they just reopened wedecided not to back because she wasn’t going to be there.We have been to Habanero’s twice in one week. I never step outof my box food wise. I had the coconut shrimp tacos and they were fabulous just like she said. Rod was great at the bar andvery friendly. As long as Amie is there we will be regulars . Loved it!!!!"

"If you are looking for authentic Mexican food or Tex-Mex this is not the place. I don?t even know where to begin. I don?t enjoy leaving bad reviews but customers should know what they will get. The first photo is what was advertised and what I expected. The following photos is what I received. To begin with, the crispy taco was not crispy and the meat inside was cold, dry, tasted old and as if it had been mass produced and set under a broken heat lamp. Sadly, Taco Bell would have been better. The chile relleno was strangely, breaded instead of being covered in egg batter as it is traditionally. The cheese it was stuffed with was terrible?and it was not a poblano pepper. The beef and cheese enchilada were smothered with a red sauce that tasted close to canned chili. The chicken enchilada was only half stuffed with what tasted like shredded chicken that had been ground and smothered with a tomato based sauce?the refried beans were obviously canned. The rice was dry and lacked flavor. Lastly, the tamale was dry. It was also smothered with the same chili sauce as the beef and cheese enchilada?the sauce did little to moisten the actual tamale. The waitress was kind and personable. The restaurant itself was well decorated. I wish they had spent the same amount off effort into developing authentic recipes as they did decorating. If the Abuelo is no longer with us, the poor man must be turning in his grave. The Grande Platter was a Grande Disappointment and not worth $24.23. The one star is for the awesome waitresses."

"Today I chose to pickup and it was a subpar experience. The app alerted me the order was ready however when I arrived this was not the case. No biggie but then once it was I had to ask for my beverage, then while waiting decided to check my bag. Luckily I did because the au jus for the French dip was missing. This has happened before so I was cautious. The lemonade was very tart and the cup of soup was barley heated up. It is clam chowder so it needs to be hot and I could tell it was reheated and not made fresh. Overall disappointing for the cost and value. May be my last visit."

"Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Has seriously gone downhill the last few times we have visited. The place is disgustingly dirty. At the time we visited there were very few people but there was trash, food, and even a few cloth napkins all over the floors. Not sure if the pictures will do it justice but i have attached a few. The booth we where we sat had old food in the window which had drawn ants and other insects. All this was before we ever saw the waiter. It was 10-15 minutes before he came to the table and then couldn't even get drinks correct. Came back to the table 3 different times just to figure them out. We had to ask 4 separate times to get salt, several more times to get our Espinoca. When the Espinoca finally arrived, the waiter rolled his eyes and proceeded to toss it on the table with loud thud. We ordered three entrées, two of which were incorrect when brought to our table. One was fixed but the other we ended up chalking up as a loss and finally just removed from our ticket. All in all, a horrible experience a subpar and rude waiter. Glad there is a Jose Peppers on the West side because we will not be back to this location."
