"I visited this place with my wife and daughter on last Frdiay and was impressed with the quality of food and drinks. We didn't have a reservtion and hence had to wait foralmost 30 mtniutes before we got a table in the backyard- a cute little space laid out with wooden bench alongside the wall. Our cocktails were very good and the Tamrarind Mezcal special drink was temptingly addictive. Food was excellent- wonderful flavor, fresh and neatly balanced with all the condiments/stuff mexican food is renowned for. Although one fo our dish -short rib Taco castillo got unduly delayed, the manager/owner was courteous to slide in skirt teak taco on the house. BTW, the rib Taco castillo was the only let down to otherwise excellent food and drinks we enjoyed at this fantastic place. Highly recommend the place! worth visiting! BTW pl make reservations before you visit, especially on weekends/holidays. Cheers"

"I was really looking forward to enjoying a good Montana cheeseburger, but what I got was a disappointing experience. The burger was overcooked and dry, resembling a poorly made, frozen patty. It was meant to come with jalapeño cream cheese, but instead, it was bland and watery, more like tasteless mayonnaise. While the fries were decent, they didn't taste fresh and could easily have been from a supplier like Sysco, similar to what you'd find at any fast-food joint. Given the charming historic setting of the town, I expected much better quality food. The patio heaters inside were uncomfortably hot, burning my arm and forcing me to ask for a seat change. It feels like a tourist spot that doesn't prioritize good food or the lovely weather we enjoy. Overall, I paid $22 for a burger that didn't deliver at all."

"The food was good and the decor was quite fun. However, the service was a little off. Our servers were polite but seemed to be a little inconsistent and slow. It was a struggle for them to keep our water glasses full. When we asked for more salsa they took quite some time to get around to it. Our dinner was reasonably priced with the exception of the $4.00 cups of coffee we ended up ordering at the end."

"Tacos Porfias is absolutely fantastic! You can choose to dine in or order takeout. I tried the carne asada torta, and it exceeded my expectations. The torta was generously filled with carne asada, black beans, tomatoes, jalapeños, and avocado. It was beautifully wrapped in foil and cut in half for easy eating. They also have a fridge stocked with a variety of drinks and freshly made salsas (both red and green), which were incredible too. Tacos Porfias and Rico's Tacos El Torito are tied for my top spot for authentic Mexican food in Wichita, Kansas!"

"I had a terrible time here? There was some serious potential here considering it had good reviews and seemed very busy. But to start, our waitress, Shannon was very rude. She was not friendly from the beginning. She also seemed to not care about our table compared to others. Multiple tables that came after us got served before us and when we simply asked for straws which we waited on for 10 minutes until we had to ask the host for them and Shannon never followed up about it. We ordered drinks and being from out of state, I understand needing a second opinion but instead of having someone come over, she just took our IDs to the back. Then every person in our group of four had a bad food experience. The tacos were served ice cold, the bowl was served with cold cheese still on top (to which the waitress argued about how it?s because cheese solidifies even tho it was still in shreds proving it never even melted), and the quesadilla had an unusual seasoning. The tacos were also advertised as being marinated but very bland. I understand being a server in a busy restaurant can be difficult but the manager never even came over to ask about our experience after we told the waitress how we felt (in a very polite way). We never asked for comped food or a discount, we just wanted to make them aware but she comes over to tell us the manager said no, they will not take money off the bill, which again, we never asked for. The two star are for the friendly hosts and good margaritas."

"Just a little hole in the wall to go Mexican food joint. Super good food, quick service, great service. The street tacos in particular are always super good, and the asada nachos are great. You can't really go wrong here though. Don't forget to get some red and green sauces with your food they're fantastic. I ate my leftover sauce with tortilla chips the next day no shame, no regrets."

"I also ordered a second regular margarita, but she brought me a mango one instead. I enjoyed it, so I didn’t send it back, but I mentioned the mix-up since my date wanted to order a mango margarita instead of the original one he already had. She then blamed the bartender for this error, even though it was clear from the appearance of the drink that it wasn't a regular margarita. She should have noticed that and corrected it if it truly was the bartender's mistake. Considering everything, we left her a 10% tip, which felt appropriate given the circumstances. On a positive note, the drinks were quite delicious."
