"They provide an abundance of sauce on the side, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The presentation is so neat and beautiful that I’ve never enjoyed a salad without meat like this before. Just imagine how excited I’ll be when I order again! This restaurant has become my new favorite spot. They are truly amazing! I ordered through UberEats, but I can only imagine how fantastic the experience would be in person. I LOVE THEM! The chain locations are consistently professional, provide quick service, and the food is always fresh. They pay attention to order notes, and it feels as though I'm dining right in the restaurant. It was impeccably clean, a true perfection! I am absolutely in love with this place! I will definitely be a lifelong customer. The staff is wonderful, and the food presentation is stunning. "Everything about this place is done right. A well maintained grocery store that leads to comfortable exclusive seating in front of a dining counter. The ladies behind the plastic veil of the counter conjure up some of the most remarkable homestyle food in all of Bushwick. "The bakery side has a full menu for take out dining options. I ordered a breakfast bowl, but they gave me a regular burrito bowl instead... No complaints! Probably one of very few times in my life that I absolutely didn't mind the mix up. I was aiming for brunch, had to pivot because of the mix-up, and it was a delicious one. I've also had many different kinds of pastries from their large selection, amazing paired with your morning coffee. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine with a great price point, try Mandato."

"I am always very happy to find Hispanic places in my county of the Bronx. This one, which I didn't know about, was a beautiful surprise because it is a very comfortable and familiar place. The patrons are very decent people and the service and food are delicious. Last night we shared for 4 hours on a birthday and the treatment, service and entertainment were very pleasant. I recommend it to everyone who, like me, likes Mexican food, a good beer and a good time in a decent place."

"This is hands down the best Mexican food you can find in town. The dishes are authentic, made to order fresh, and bursting with flavor. The panzita and consome de chivo are fantastic, and the picaditas and sopes are the best. The service is excellent. Although the place is small, it doesn't matter. "9th Street Taqueria with friendly staff and owner. FYI: their English is light. There were a lot of plants and flowers around the 7 or 8 table spot, which were lovely. It was pretty cold in there. They were out of limes, so provided lemons. The cucumbers were unfortunately no good. The food was okay and came out hot. Tacos could have used more onion with all of the cilantro. Key needed for bathroom that the owner had to bring out from the back. It is a BYO and they have a cooler of juices and sodas. Will skip it for other options in the area next time."

The ají de gallina was more like a watery soup, and the chicken lacked flavor. Unfortunately, some family members experienced food poisoning from the ceviche and lomo saltado, resulting in vomiting. Don't waste your time here; instead, consider ordering from Embarcadero or Mr. Ceviche."
