"I've been a customer of Saladworks for 15 years, and it's been disappointing to see the decline over the years. The brand has made several missteps, including dropping popular salad dressings and combinations. I’m unsure if the prices are determined by the company or individual franchise owners, but they are quite excessive. I recently ordered a create-your-own salad, and with just an extra side of dressing and a regular-sized fountain soda, my total came to $18.95. At that rate, it's hard to justify returning to Saladworks frequently. For comparison, I can get a burrito bowl and a large soda at Chipotle for just $13.33. Sure, Chipotle benefits from economies of scale, but there shouldn't be such a stark difference in value. I work just three minutes from this Saladworks, and if their prices were more reasonable, I would visit twice a week instead of twice a year. They also reduce value by shrinking the dressing container sizes and having a partially broken soda machine. It didn't have any ice, and the Diet Coke tasted flat. So why are they getting 2 stars? Because the food still tastes good. I just wonder how long it will be before that changes, and the franchise ultimately goes out of business."
