"My family and I stopped in tonight for a quick dinner. We called in advance to make sure they could accommodate a party of 6. It’s a Monday night but still felt we better check. I called and was told we could be seated right away. We were at the restaurant within 10 minutes of calling and we were sat immediately. We placed our drink order and that’s when it started to turn. 14 minutes it took to get water, tea and 2 glasses of wine. After our server dropped off the drinks we ordered a bowl of queso. 10 minutes it took for it to be dropped off which wasn’t bad but it took 10 more to get chips to eat the queso with so as you can imagine, it was ice cold when we got it. We asked for refills that never came. 24 minutes later we finally got to place our food order. The food came out fairly quickly. When it was delivered, we asked for those refills we had never gotten. Yet they never came, we had NO drinks for our meal and no wine that we had ordered. We finished our food and waited 26 minutes with no server and so I went to the hostess stand to request a manager. 14 minutes it took the manager to come to the table after requested. When he did he basically said nothing just stood at the table and looked at me. I explained that I wanted to let him know that we had awful service, maybe he needed to train his other employees to help if they see tables needing things, maybe refill drinks or pre-bus tables. Still said not a word until I said “ we’ll do you have anything to say maybe “sorry you had bad service “ or “we will try to do better” instead he ran my card for the full amount and said have a great night. The server finally came by at the very end to let me know she has just started and was also the bartender and said “ I don’t know”.The part that made me very upset is the manager not being able to properly handle a complaint. As someone that has previously trained employees in the customer service field and now Corp America, I was blown away at the lack of care and lack of trying to make it right! Maybe an apology. I didn’t ask for free food and didn’t expect it, I just wanted the manager to know what went wrong and try and fix it for the reputation of the restaurant. With so many “Mexican food” options on every corner you can’t really give bad service and have a lack of care before it catches up. We won’t be back as there are too many great places around!"

"I've been a regular at this restaurant for over 15 years, so it pains me to say that my experience today was not up to par. The place wasn't very busy, with only three other tables occupied. I ordered my drinks, but they weren't quite right. I requested a house margarita during happy hour and specified that I wanted it on the rocks. I wasn't informed that the special price only applied to frozen margaritas, so I was surprised when a frozen one was served to me. When I notified the waitress about my order, she seemed confused and insisted that the frozen margarita was better. I explained that I preferred it on the rocks because the frozen version tends to be too cold and painful for my teeth. The waitress mentioned she would check with the manager about swapping it, but I couldn't fully hear her. After a lengthy wait, she finally brought me the margarita on the rocks, but from that point on, she seemed distant and unapproachable while serving my table. The food was decent—nothing to complain about—but I always came here for the family tradition, the friendly waitstaff, and the enjoyable atmosphere, even if it meant paying a bit more. I ended up spending $72 on dinner, which felt a bit steep. However, I didn’t want to linger or ask about the bill because I felt rushed and slightly disregarded. Perhaps it was simply an off night for the staff, but I believe it might be a while before I choose to come back."
