"8-16-2024 visit..... hadn't been here in a bit. Didn't miss a beat....great dinner.................This restaurant came recommended by a family member who happens to be a local. We've been visiting San Antonio for years, and this place , in my opinion, has to one of most authentic mexican restaurants (well at least by Valley standards cause we have em on every corner). Service was good but took a bit to get our food (party of 6), food was great with homemade tortillas. Definitely be back again."

My husband had the carne guisada and he said it was the best he has had in a long time. My strawberry margarita was awesome and the botana appetizer was delicious and plenty of food for a crowd. View menu

We went doing Happy hour 3 to 6:00 Friday we got the house special Margaritas 6 bucks they were delicious they also had happy hour appetizers the queso was so good I got fajita tacos smothered with cheese so delicious will definitely go again.

I 've had TexMex all over Texas and this is one of the best. The flavor is just a little bit extra on everything the margaritas, the beans, the tortillas. It was really, really good. Highly recommended as one of the best Mexican places in San Antonio.

We arrived for a birthday with 10 people and waited 15-20 minutes for a table. I ordered a bloody mary which I was overcharged for the manager quickly brought me another ; the food came out very fast and they even sang happy birthday to my fiance. What a great place. We stopped by this restaurant during our visit to the missions, and it was amazing! The place had a cozy, welcoming vibe, and Justin, our server, was super attentive and friendly. We love the complementary chip and salsa. So fresh and tasty! The margaritas were the best we’ve had, and the food was delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to come back!

So I have a hard time rating this restaurant. Couple of things… The service was amazing and they helped us right away. Before I say the next thing, please note we were helped an no one was hurt. We came with the whole family and three of us got the mangonada margaritas. However, as amazing as they tasted…. We ended up finding pieces of glass in our drinks. The food was good. It was a simple mistake that was corrected but I felt I should inform others.
