"The restaurant is nicely decorated. Lighting is aesthetically pleasing and the furniture is great. The bathrooms were nice as well with full body mirrors. We went for dinner around 6pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. Service was awesome. The waiters kept checking on us and the hosts were nice. The menu we received was one sheet, two sides with the front side being all food and the back side all drinks. I only saw alcoholic drinks. I asked the waiter if they had strawberry lemonade as we didn't want alcohol. He said they could make it for us. I think they also have sodas but I didn't see the choices on the menu. I get the feeling its popular for nightlife eating, if you like going out for drinks it would be a great place to eat and drink. The food itself was decent. I'm mexican myself so I expected a bit more from it. Things that should be flavorful or spicy were a bit bland. If you don't like strong flavors you will be fine. I wanted more flavor. My refried beans seemed almost from a can. The steak was cooked perfectly but wasn't super flavorful. The guac was bland, so was the avocado dipping sauce our taquitos came with. The salsa wasn't spicy at all. The taquitos were yummy and all in all everything tasted clean. I wouldn't say it tasted like authentic mexican food but it also wasn't super fancy either. It felt a bit overpriced for how it tasted but the service and ambiance makes up for it a bit."

"My first visit to Don Cuco. The food was good, parking not the greatest and the service could have been better. The food: Chips are a little thicker than I prefer. However, they came out fresh and warm. Didn't splinter when you take a bite. Covered in just enough salt. The salsa served was great as well. The bowl was a tad small compared to comparable restaurants, but all you have to do is ask for more. I ordered the two chicken flautas combo the flautas are served cut in half, so you will see a total of four. The bread is a thin flakey layer of crispy goodness. I have never had a flauts served like this. It was a 8/10 alone. The beans and rice were standard for the industry, wouldn't be able to tell them from competitors, in my opinion. They tasted great, nonetheless. Ordered a strawberry Margherita blended with sugar on the rim. Served as expected and tasted good. I'm not sure what tequila they used, but it seemed either a tad weak in flavor, or I did not get enough in my drink. The service: We were not immediately greated upon entering at approx. 4:30PM on a Friday. The place wasn't packed either. We sat at a table at the bar. Our waitress was a bit put off by something as we could tell her attitude was the best. Felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. Throughout the meal, had to reach out a couple times. The bus boy who brought the food, took out dishes, refilled out drink definitely did more. The parking: and you pull in to park in the front, you will quickly learn that the road doesn't go all the way through. Being in an SUV, it was a tight fit. Not sure if that setup was temporary or not. Overall: 3 stars. I enjoyed by main course an the chips and salsa. I enjoyed the ambiance. However, I didn't feel like there was anything that stuck out that would have me coming back."

"An all-around nice spot in Beverly Hills to grab some good Mexican food and drinks. The atmosphere is open with a welcoming yet refined ambiance. The service was super friendly and attentive too. The food is on the pricier side, but pretty tasty and a good stop between shopping in the area. They have daily lunch specials from 11 to 4 pm and AYCE Sunday Brunch for about $50 with a Bottomless Mimosa add-on for another $25. Very tempting, but I'd probably get kicked out of the stores after being blitz. Anyways, I came here for lunch and tried their Maracuya and Watermelon Mojito for drinks. The Maracuya was an all around good cocktail with the smoky mezcal. I asked for it a little spicy and they added some jalapeños for me. The Watermelon Mojito was like summer. Very juicy, sweet, and bright! For food, they are known for their guacamole so definitely went with that. It came with a citrusy green salsa and a smokey hot red. Pretty good and great for sharing. Really fresh guac that is light and airy being a good mix between chunky and smooth. I also got their Mole Poblano. Super delish and highly recommended! The mole was sweet and deep with smoky notes. It was served over some shredded chicken that was cooked percectly! It came with some rice, plantains, and tortillas to build a taco. Really good mix of carbs! I enjoyed every bite and would get it again. All in all, I enjoyed this place! Aside it being a bit pricy, it had good service, food, and ambiance!"

"So I’m changing my review finally. Because I finally food another Mexican restaurant that makes the guacamole for me a lot smaller and cheaper. First of all service here needs to be worked on. I think the waitresses got a little too comfortable with me because I was always coming everyday to eat here. Yes some stuff on their menu is good but not everything. I understand you want to make conversation and want to be cool with me because I was always coming but I’m just a customer coming to eat that’s it. Asking personal questions is a big NO. Secondly they’ve gotten so comfortable when I call to place a order they answer the phone saying want do u want I’m really busy… if you are busy then don’t answer the phone but to pick up the phone and say I’m busy want do you want Going forward this place is very expensive and not everything is good on the menu …when they service you water it’s warm and don’t add ice and if they do the put water first and then add the ice and warm still taste warm it should be add ice first then water. Also there water taste like start faucet water and they calm they have a filter for it. It’s disgusting so I don’t order water anymore or any drinks from here I just bring my own drinks now. Also , I can say this their guacamole is very good here but the down side is that they only do it one size and it’s a big size for 14$ very expensive and I don’t even Get to finish it because it’s to big … they don’t give you a option for a smaller one for cheaper .. so your stuck with paying for something to big and can’t finish . Orchata is kinda watery as well.their burrito de asada and chicken things toasda are very good and the ajillo shrimp dish is good but not everything on that menu is good. : this is Very pricy stop. But thank god o found me a restaurant that makes me that guacamole just as good and cheaper… when looking at my bank statements I’m spending 300 to 600$ a month on pulpo loco I think I derserve some better service … but that all changed now that I found me another restaurant… you’ll be seeing me a lot less now that I found that guacamole some where else lol :"
