"We were thrown off as soon as we entered. The hostess told me we didn’t have a reservation and that she just printed the list before I arrived. I offered to show her my reservation on the app and she snapped at me “well you must have just set minutes ago”. This was not the case, I made the reservation more than hours before hand. Also, there were plenty of tables available all over. Overall, the food was pretty good and our server was pleasant. Just couldn’t get over how rude and unwelcoming the host was, and could hear her being that way towards the servers too"

"A great restaurant still to be all the way ready to be just outstanding in the Michelin league I guess they intend to play. The place and the atmosphere is fantastic, with the kitchen wide open welcoming the guests upon arrival. Service is just correct (didn 't help that much when being asked about specific details of the dishes), the food is very good, handled very carefully, with vegetables from the organic farm the lodge has and that you should visit, and very nicely prepared (portions quite small though, from my point of view, specially entries and appetiser), I wish they were a little less pricey so you could try some more. Good wine selection in American wines (not so good in Spanish, for example) and great views to the mountains make it a great experience overall, of course if you can afford it (over 200$ per head with average wine plus the 'mandatory ' tip) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Surprise. In an average shopping center there is a quality restaurant like this. I think of this as a single stone and mortar for quality. So don't let it go. My daughter got me out for dinner and cocktail. Wow! Everything was really delicious. I think the proverb is true: you get what you pay and sometimes it is really good quality at a fair price! Parking was easy. A cozy small corner place with a lot of seating. The huge bar was full of guests eating and drinking. Most people seemed well dressed or busy (after the amount of work?. I think it might have been sourdough? I only ate it because the oat butter had some herbs on it. I usually avoid gluten, but a slice was not hurt. We ordered the crab cakes. 2 per order. Definitely not too much bread. A crab cake. Offers and tasty with a great small crispy coating. I ordered the special grilled halibut with potatoes and green beans. I admit, I wish the fish was a bigger one because it was so amazing. The potatoes were cooked tenderly. But the green beans were perfect. I like vegetables to taste themselves, which does not mean cooked. You had a bang. The lemon sauce was good enough to drink in a cup. Of course I didn't mean it didn't happen. My daughter ordered the seafood risotto. I took a little bite from her fish was salmon. Buttery, delicate and tasty. However, the Mascarpone cheese was overwhelming and too much in the Risotto for me, the Risotto was crushed together and not loose bits. Taste a little like boxed Mac n cheese taste. I know this is a difficult description. But I did. My daughter loved it. It was a big portion and she brought home about 1/2. Then we shared my favorite all the time. Crime brûlée I can rarely say it was bomb! That's it. With a perfect thin layer of comminuted sugar. No complaints! Yummy with a dark coffee.."

"South Main Kitchen is a wonderfully cozy spot with an interior that makes you feel right at home! We were warmly welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived. We opted to sit at the bar, where Kennedy took excellent care of us and engaged us in delightful conversation. She's truly a standout bartender! We started with a few appetizers: Brussels sprouts, pickled vegetables, and pork rinds, all of which were fantastic! We can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings—what a fantastic place!"

"You know, in this city full of good food its hard to see through whats good, and what is actually great. TJ hit that great mark for us on every level. Best cocktails Ive ever had from here, friendly as can be, and actually genuine. Not once did I have an empty glass, and he was so smooth at conversation, its misleading at how fast hes actually moving, because he still gave us his attention, talk about work ethic. "On our 5-day Irish pub tour, we stopped in Buckhead at Fado's Irish pub for lunch. First off, let me say, this is one of the most beautiful Irish pubs we have seen. We took our seats at the bar. Our bartender, Russell soon came over and we ordered our usual Irish beer, Smithwicks, and Harp. They were very cold and most refreshing on a hot summer day. We shared the fish tacos with chips (fries). It was delicious. We chatted with Russell, btw, he was from England and he was very friendly, and attentive. It was a great experience. We will definitely return."

"After visiting Ireland this summer, we were eager to find some genuine Irish cuisine and ambiance. My husband ordered the lamb sliders, while I opted for the lamb French dip—both dishes were delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside and people-watching, although the view itself wasn’t particularly impressive. Getting to the restaurant was somewhat tricky due to the ongoing construction in downtown St. Louis, but I anticipate that access will improve once it’s completed."

"I ordered the phone and picked up. the restaurant was very busy, I understand, but they managed to screw every detail of the main course I ordered, and the other main course was not very good. my truthahn and stuffing order should come with a) turkey, that did it. the truthahn wstiuffingas cold and dry. b) stuffing and dig. no serious and about a filling. a baked potato with acidic cream. beautiful kartoffel. larger than the truthahn and the filling combined. no butter. not sour. the shephards cake my wife ordered was actually meat covered with watershed, a couple of draughts and kartoffels that were, they guessed it, cold. maybe in couodhave forgiven, but 1) the price was high. 2) I got ten minutes earlier than suggested to get all my food cold. the manager was very apologetic and offered to the sour cream to my kartoffel anjd maybe even throw into a few cakes when I wanted to drive back to take care of everything that was wrong. No, thanks. I'm not gonna hold back."

"We went for a late lunch with appetizers and drinks. We also were ordering some takeout to take home for later. The waitress was friendly. It took a bit of time (not that we were in a hurry) to receive our drinks and appetizer. The waitress commented on the bar tender taking forever. The clams casino was delicious just not real hot in the center. We both ordered broiled stuffed shrimps. These were also very tasty but again not very hot in temperature. You could tell that the sides were sitting on the plate a bit before the entree was placed there. My husband asked for ketchup and additional drinks but by the time the waitress brought these items he was already done his French fries. The atmosphere was very nice with the fire places burning. It just seemed as though for the amount of people that was in the dining room the service could have been better and the food hotter."

"My assessment is largely based on the service, because although the food was decent. It was very overpriced and took too long to prepare. Stephanie is a literary jewel of a person and I loved any interaction we had. Sassy in the right way, conversation and always had some fun to say and never let us go too long without any form of refilling or checking how our experience went. Stephanie was inviting. I literally can't say much more, I overtaked and would do it again to be honest when I'm back. Now for the main event. Wings were decent, but tiny for the price, I knew what to get myself, but my goodness, that was baby size. The pasta was well done, but didn't really hit me like something that didn't buy from a shelf. Thank you, Stephanie. You are a phenomenal person and I hope you can read this because I worship your work ethics and personality."

"Horrible service . Took over 30 min for someone to come to our table then took another 10 mins to take our drink orders which within its self took 15 minutes to receive. After the waitress took our food order after being sat for 45 minutes. We then waited another 50 minutes with empty water glasses and waiting for the appetizer. Finally I found another waitress and asked for the check to leave due to the horrible service provided. We have dined here before but recently the service has been declining and tonight was by far the worst. We noticed another table who had the same waitress had the same issue and she actually gave them a hard time when there food came out completely wrong."

"The last time we went to Locali probably marks the 50th time since we moved here a couple of years ago. And not one single time have we ever experienced food that was anything but perfectly prepared, delicious and exactly like the first time I tasted it. The consistency is off the charts. I spent a long time in the fine dining restaurant industry in my 20s and 30s and I can tell you right now. I’m quite picky. This kind of consistency is what restaurateurs can only dream about. Hands-down , this is our favorite pizza spot in Fairfield County. Thin crispy perfect crust every time! Judging from my last trip to Naples, I don’t think you can get better. But of course, when it comes to pizza, everyone’s a connoisseur. That being said, this is some high-quality pie. I’ve pretty much made a run through the whole menu over the years and you really can’t go wrong. If it’s coming out of that kitchen, it’s a gonna be a good! Highly recommended!!!"

"They ruined my mother's wedding. I strongly advise against holding any events at this restaurant due to their unprofessionalism. We booked a small wedding party in one of their event spaces two months in advance and even paid a deposit. However, just a few days before the wedding, they double-booked with a funeral party. They didn't provide a full refund and instead pushed us to use one of their sister companies to cover up their mistake. We are considering legal action. The manager was incredibly unprofessional and rude. It's hard to understand how someone could forget they were hosting a wedding that had been planned well in advance. I can't help but feel that there was a level of racism directed at my Hispanic mother and her Black husband. Fortunately, the sister company was able to accommodate us, and I will be leaving them a positive review. But this restaurant is a mess."

"I ordered food from this restaurant for delivery, but they refused to deliver to a neighbor who works just a quarter mile away. When I called to inquire about my order, they yelled at me. This is despite the fact that I have helped them in the past by filling their ice machine with 20 bags of ice. It's disappointing that they can't show the same level of service when I'm paying $77 for a meal, plus tips. Marketplace, please make more of an effort to serve locals better. "Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"Found this gem driving by one morning and was pleasantly surprised! Tucked into a small strip center decided to come in and check it out. A solid menu with a variety of eats a stout drink menu to boot! Though I came early for brunch, I may have to come back to test their bar while catching up on a local game. Plenty of TV's I personally liked the dim lit setting. Now to the most important part, the food. Everything came out pretty quickly everything was fresh! The Bama balls were excellent the Southern sampler is a great starter as well if you're not sure what you want. All of the items were good but that Connie's queso is the star on the sampler to me. Anytime skillet was amazing! At first glance, you might think the serving portion might be a little on the small end but with the fajita meat it's hearty filling. Packs great flavor I would order this again for sure! The Texian burger was also fresh and decent in size! The fries were fresh and seasoned well! So if you're looking for a place to eat that's not a chain, this place will surely have something for everyone! Seems like it is Veteran owned as well so that's A in my book. "Overall, we had a good time at The Farmhouse. We stopped by the Barrelhouse for a couple of drinks before and walked over to The Farmhouse when our reservation was ready. The vibe of both places was cool but a little hipster (Farmhouse and Barrelhouse) or a little yuppie (the complex at-large, with the boutiques and neighborhood) at times. The menu looked great. We had the carnitas tacos as an app, which were good (nice smokiness and spice with peppers), but unfortunately our two entrees (shepherd's pie and pumpkin risotto) were under-seasoned. So, for the price point, it was disappointing. But, we appreciated the ingredients utilized, and our dessert was yummy. Actually, we had a large serving of the dessert (bread pudding) and were grateful to have some for leftovers. Our server and one of the hosts were great. There was a different staff member though who seemed to not care to swear out loud while guests were still in the main room, which was off-putting. In general, this individual didn't seem very client-focused throughout our time there. Would we go back? Yes. The menu looks that good. But, if our food comes out bland again, we'll probably not recommend it to friends and family. Just aiming to be honest here and am sending my best to The Farmhouse. It clearly has a lot of interest from the community and those from out of town, and I hope our experience continues to be better each time."

"It was our first time here. Made reservation for 6pm stating it was for our 5 year anniversary. Arrived early a little after 5pm and was seated promptly due to the restaurant being empty minus maybe 5-6 other people. Once seated. It took 20-30 mins to get water, another 15-20 mins for bread. And still no one, since seated, has asked for a drink order or appetizers or entrees. After waiting for an hour and a half, we decided enough was enough and got up to leave. Mind you, two other people were brought in and sat down after us and they were promptly serviced. Even the two people who were seated one table over from us in the same booth row!!! My partner did make a comment to the hostess stating we were leaving because we weren’t given any service other than water and bread. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed by the whole situation."
