"We decided to dine here for my niece’s birthday dinner. We felt a bit separated from the rest of the restaurant right away. We had forgotten our masks and asked if they had extras or we would go grab some. The hostess said it was fine and seated us directly to the side of the hostess station which was on the left of the front door. We had a party of 9 and had two little tables put together. We made a comment that it might be too little room and the hostess said “no, we will make it fit.” At one point I was stacking our plates on a barstool that was next to the booth. Our waiter seemed preoccupied with the rest of his tables, as we waited for refills for drinks for long periods and a side of guacamole that was ordered with a meal. He mixed up the kids meals and left out a Mac and cheese. He brought it when everyone was finished eating. Luckily our baby loves Mexican food. He might’ve had a hard time because he didn’t write down our order. On to the food! Mine and my best friend’s Chile rellanos were tasty. I ordered mine with extra cheese, but it seemed to have the same amount of my bff. They were very lacking in size compared to other rellanos I’ve enjoyed. My bffs husbands grande burrito was pretty good. He did actually think they left out the steak, but the waiter insisted it was there and sure enough he dug and found a few pieces. Not anywhere near 1/3 of the burrito like it’s advertised to have. The kids ate all their Mac and cheese and chicken fingers so they said it was yummy. The ground beef on top of my child’s nachos looked and tasted very greasy. She didn’t eat much. The enchiladas were good, but again lacking in portion. All in all, the service was poor, and the food disappointing. Some was tasty but maybe for lunch specials at a discounted price. We left feeling hungry and confused. For $150 bill we shouldn’t have to hit McDonald’s on the way home. I will say that it was also kind of uncomfortable where we were seated when it got extremely busy. Everyone watched us eating and we felt as though we offended the staff for not having masks. We certainly would’ve gotten them if the hostess had told us to. We would never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or anything bad. I gave this two stars because most of the food was tasty."

"I placed a quick order over the phone, but the experience was disappointing. I ordered using the menu linked on their website, and the next day my wife noticed that we were charged more than what the menu indicated. I tried calling them, but they claimed that it wasn't their current menu or that it was an outdated version. We're moving soon, so it doesn't bother us too much, but it's definitely not acceptable."

"We stopped here on a long road trip (Bay Area to Portland and ordered carne Asada Burritos and a shredded chicken burrito to-go. The owner was really friendly, he brought us around to pick our Jarritos. My son loved that, he also gave us a promo bottle opener. We would totally love to come back sometime for a proper sit-down meal. The menu looked like they have amazing brunch. The owner also mentioned that they have a garden area where you can enjoy your meal. The carne Asada was delicious. The burrito was perfect (and huge! and nicely wrapped with paper lining inside the foil. It made it easy to eat on the road."

"Always impressive, always busy, but always amazing in taste. People who know about this place will wait in line because it's the best. For all of us out of town'ers, definitely a place to try for lunch or dinner. The food is top notch. I've had everything on their menu, but I tend to gravitate towards their Enchiladas and their Tacos. The Lingua Taco is to die for and their Carne Asada is vee delish. Once you walk in, BAM you're welcomed with a smile and that amazing aroma of the grill. I visited them again today after being out of the country for 5 months and the first place I went to, before heading home to my family, was Pancho Villa Taqueria in San Mateo. Cheers..."

"California needs a better Mexican restaurant. This experience was not great at all. The two matching pigtail hair girls at the host desk seemed to not know what they were doing and seemed lost. They seated people who came in after us first when we only had a party of 2. They were constantly on their phones and even heard them talking bad about customers. The food was bland no flavor. Hard and dry and crispy. Carnitas crunched more than the chips. They were drier than a Popeyes biscuit. Drinks were weak and had no flavor. We tried 3 different drinks and all were so gross. Only the beer was good. You can not go wrong with beer or water. Seriously ONLY order beer here. They can?t mess that up. Hot sauce taste like spaghetti sauce. By far the worse tasting food I?ve had here in California. Order things that did not even come out and honestly I am glad no telling how that tasted. The only thing I enjoyed here was the live music. That says a lot. Bring Texas Mexican food over here. Probably will not come back or recommend."

"Used to be a nice place to eat but now everybody here is just racist when we walked in they stared like they never seen black people before and when the manager came he was JUST OK at first but then when he came to serve us food and they got my mom’s order wrong he snatched the plate back and hit my fiancé with it when he went to move it and then slammed it down on the back table with an attitude don’t get mad because your coworkers made a mistake in the kitchen he also tried double charging me because he thought my card had insufficient funds and that my card was locked no I sent to my card what was needed which was $89 and some change and the food and services most definitely wasn’t worth $89 more like $5 I’m assuming the guy was a manager talked to an employee named Austin like he was slow in the head or something he wasn’t very professional all around his attitude and actions were very childish we will never come back he had such a hateful personality didn’t even apologize for hurting my fiancé elbow he almost bruised his arm."

"Went for my birthday and got seated right away. We ordered drinks and guacamole and I ordered beef fajitas. They were good but needed lime juice or would have been to tasteless. The waiter was awesome and the man who brings drinks too. I liked the staff. But my friend ordered a tostada and it was covered in red enchilada sauce. She literally had to run to the bathroom due to the sauce. Tostadas should not use red sauce. It wasn't hot sauce but red enchilada sauce. Odd. I was pleased with my food and the cute little dessert they brought me for my birthday. Delicious flan. I was sad when I wanted to tip 15% and the electronic device had only 18% and two higher choices. Why don't they have 15% as a choice? Seems presumptuous and wring to assume I want to pay more when the bill was already over $50 for two plates and a small guacamole and two sodas? I pushed the custom tip button and paid 7$. I would have paid more had they not tried to force a customer to pay 18%. It's wrong. Reminded me if the Dodgers now wanting us to pay for a bag of peanuts using our credit cards on a handheld machine and also expecting 18% and up tips. Not me. I won't go to any more dodger games. Their hot dogs taste awful and getting tix and parking pass online was awful. Never could find the parking pass. Oh well I digress. Good food, great staff, but the tip forced down my throat not so good. And my poor friend was sick from the sauce."

"I will give insight about this place as someone who has been living in Milton for 4 years and I regularly take a gamble on this place because I love Mexican food.The chefs have always done a fantastic job. They always make everything delicious and it comes out hot.However, for the last 4 years that I have been ordering here, this place gets my order wrong half the time.I am not being dramatic here, this place has a very abnormally high ratio of getting my order wrong.I have a feeling it has to do with the waiters and management.I even tried to talk with the waiters before about a huge mishap and then the waiters tried gaslighting me into believing my dish was what I ordered. I ordered chicken mole enchiladas and this waiter was trying to get me to believe my dish was mole when it was so very obvious that they served me red sauce instead. They also tried gaslighting my husband into believing they gave him his order. He order seafood and they served him chicken. They straight up were trying to gaslight us even with the evidence right in their face.Anyways, if you decide to eat here, know that you are taking a gamble.If you’re someone who has severe allergies or dietary restrictions, I would not recommend eating here because these guys are so unreliable and do not take responsibility for their mistakes.If you eat here you’re trusting unreliable waiters with your life if you have allergies.I do have dietary restrictions and cannot eat flour so I order corn. They have regularly given me flour tortillas instead of corn when I ordered corn. And I order in often from DoorDash and can’t get a replacement like I could in person.I give a star for the awesome food quality from the chefs, but the rest of the things about his restaurant are so consistently inconsistent and unreliable."

"This was a last-minute find during my recent trip, and I had never heard of this restaurant before. I was thrilled to discover such a beautifully designed space. It was a fantastic place to stop and enjoy an authentic Mexican dining experience. The prices were reasonable, and the amazing food was definitely worth it. This is truly some of the finest Mexican dining I’ve experienced, deserving more than a 5-star rating. I also want to give a big thanks to both the waiter and the chef – you both were wonderful! "I just had to share my love for Casa Vallarta it's hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant! As a vegetarian, it's sometimes tough to find delicious choices, but Casa Vallarta has got it down. "Paid $14 for 3 carnitas and instead was given the equivalent of school lunch slop. I wish i had taken pictures because I was in awe of how much I was ripped off. The tacos weren't assembled, and there was only enough meat for 1 single taco. The rest of the plate was a mix of rice, beans, and other foods i couldn't identify.Granted, it was takeout and I'm sure the in restaurant experience is better, but paying $14 for nothing more than cafeteria food is abysmal."

"We accidentally ended up at El Charro last Saturday night. My wife picked the restaurant and I thought she said El Charro, when she actually said El Jarro. Who knew there were two Mexican restaurants on the same street in the same neighborhood with such similar names? (Clearly, not me But the place was hopping and there was a line to get seated, so we figured we might have just stumbled upon a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the surprise was on us Both the dining room and kitchen were severely understaffed. Once our orders were finally taken, it took minutes for our two entrees to arrive. For a family style Mexican restaurant, that's just not OK. The waiters were pleasant enough, but once the food was served, we didn't see them again, either to ask how things were or to refill our water (or ask if we wanted another drink). The food was mediocre at best. The super burrito had some sort of sweet filling/sauce and both the refried beans and the guacamole were completely bland and I'm not particularly a fan of spice. The bean burrito with black beans was equally bland and the enchilada was more sauce than anything else. We were seriously disappointed with the entire experience Next time I will double check the name before setting my GPS to a restaurant!"

"Stopped in with my husband looking for something slightly off the river walk. The prices were fantastic, especially in comparison to the restaurants down on the actual river walk! We were both pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Our service was great, and the food was amazing. I ordered a skinny margarita and loved that it was made with fresh lime juice instead of some kind of mix. For lunch I got the carnitas bowl and it didn?t disappoint!
