"We discovered Mangia while strolling through the city and decided to stop in for a refuel. The atmosphere is delightful, and the service is top-notch, especially from the staff at the counter. We were a group of 10, and they managed our orders perfectly, despite the usual challenges of large groups—like indecision, last-minute changes, and special requests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in NYC."

"What a lovely dinner from the beet salad, chicken satay and crispy pork ribs. The ribs were a bit fatty, but you could get a fair amount of meat from each rib. They were very tasty and seared to perfection, a tiny bit spicy but excellent flavor. The chicken satay was extremely tender and so flavorful with extra sauce to dredge your chicken into. The beet salad was small, but quite yummy. The atmosphere is classy but comfortable. The service was good and sometimes slow, but it was getting quite busy while we were there."

"Jonah’s is my favorite restaurant! Even though we live in Champaign, we visit as often as we can. We went there to celebrate my birthday, and if you mention it’s a special occasion, they will print it on their menu and treat you to the most incredible chocolate cake! I highly recommend going there as soon as you can!"

"Underwhelming. Shareable appetizer are not enough to share. Strange entrees….. huge bone served with the ribs? Like a dinosaur bone in the plate for appearance? Burned chicken parm. When the waiter stopped by to see if everything was ok, someone said their food was “interesting”. He looked at him and turned his back and walked away. As the server came through again(on his way to another table) we flagged him down and asked about the burned chicken. He looked me right I. The eye and said”that’s the way it comes” and walked away. He didn’t check on the table…. Didn’t refill waters….. very strange experience. Won’t go back……."

"Nice environment, cozy and warm. Standard menu items were good, to the pricey side. Unfortunately special was very sub par. Halibut with risotto, the halibut was over cooked and risotto was mushy mess, either completely over cooked or they used the wrong type of rice for risotto. Recommendation is to stick to the tradition beef dishes."

"I’ll start off by saying I love to cook and I’m good at it so I’m pretty fussy when it comes to food. Black Bull provides very good food and excellent service. Our waiter Leo was polite and attentive as was all of the staff that we interacted with. We had the stuffed mushroom app (a little bland), Panzanella Salad (excellent), tomahawk steak for two (very good), brussels sprouts (excellent), truffle mashed potatoes (good) and Italian hot peppers (very spicy but I like spicy). Their homemade steak sauce is delicious they should bottle it and sell it. We had the apple strudel for desert (very good) but wished for a bit more gelato. For two we spent just shy of $400 (I think that was including a $75 tip). We also have enough leftovers for another meal. All in all a nice place and we’ll definitely go back. BTW there is a speakeasy downstairs, I was surprised to learn you could smoke cigars down there because you couldn’t smell them at all in the dining area."

"I recently dined at Black Angus Steakhouse, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a fantastic meal. The highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the steak. Perfectly cooked to my preferred level of doneness, it was incredibly tender and juicy. The rich, savory flavor of the meat was enhanced by a subtle seasoning that complemented rather than overpowered the natural taste. Each bite was a delight, making it clear that Black Angus Steakhouse takes great pride in their steak preparation. Accompanied by well-prepared sides and a selection of excellent wines, the meal was a true feast. The attentive service and cozy ambiance only added to the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a place that serves an amazing steak, Black Angus Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit."

"The Arrowhead (Glendale) Black Angus is the best I went to different places in the 30 plus years. The service is always excellent and the filets are so tender. The Teriyaki sauce is also a good supplement on the page. We always enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Arrowhead location from the servers and managers that are always great. You have a good thing to go for them so if you are looking for a good quality steak, excellent appetizers, and friendly welcome service this is the place. I recommend to the Wagon Wheel that we get it almost every time. The chocolate wing cake is also great."

"This is undoubtedly one of the best meals I’ve had in New Jersey. Our waiter, Ivan, was outstanding—extremely attentive and professional. The food was not only creative but also delicious. I can't wait to bring our friends next time!"

"I believe some other Black Angus locations may offer a superior experience, and I encourage you to do your research for the best outcome if you're looking for something truly worthwhile. That said, the attentive service and overall quality of the dishes here were very commendable and certainly worthy of a return visit. The prime rib was excellent, and the tips were also very good, as were the Au gratin potatoes, though they were a bit on the thick side. The green beans with bacon exceeded expectations, and the sautéed mushrooms with onions and tri tips, paired with a baked potato, were prepared and presented just as requested. Unfortunately, the dessert—peach cobbler—fell short of expectations. Regardless of being a chain, this particular location is one we keep returning to because they remain consistent and strive to please their customers. Looking forward to seeing you again, Angus! Enjoy your meal!"

"We've been there twice. Service was both excellent. Great medieval atmosphere. Have once the beer drank cod and the Ribs / Chicken tenderers once they were all delicious. Also had skin as an app and the French onion soup is the best I ever had. The onions literally melt in the mouth! I love the rum-flight performers small glasses with 4 different tropical rum drinks. Almost two! We will come again frequently as we are happy to try everything on the menu!"

"The food is excellent. I want to start with that because the rest of the review is unfortunately negative. The problem we faced was perhaps a tired staff that had a long day. Our server was friendly but not too attentive. Our app of the meatballs came out quick which I shared with my wife relatively quickly. They were tasty and enjoyable. However, the wait for our entrees was long and the kitchen was not busy as only other table sat while we were there. No one filled our water glasses and bread was not offered at any time. Also, despite the fact that Open Table was showing a buy get appetizer deal on their website, our server dismissed our inquiry into it and said we had to book that in advance. Bad business especially since those specifications were not made known to us when we made the reservation on line AND when we arrived for our reservation, we were told they were having issues with open table all night. So being ignored with no bread, and eventually water, we waited patiently for our entrees. They eventually were served and to our delight they were delicious ALMOST worth the wait. If the restaurant was jumping, I understand waiting, but as I said, only other table sat while were there and this was near the end of the night, so my experience is that food comes out quicker when staff wants to finish up, not the opposite. Anyway, dinner was served, it was enjoyed, my wife had some wrapped up and when it came bagged up back to table we were presented with our check. No inquiries about dessert. No coffee. Nothing. Basically a here is your check and get out. It was rude and slammed the door shut on trying to salvage an unpleasant dining experience. Which again is unfortunate, because the food itself is very good. Hard to recommend this place, but if I did, I would temper any reservation with it being that the food is good but be wary of the service."

"I wanted to love this place since it had SO many great reviews but unfortunately our visit was horrible. The server was not very friendly. We ordered wings, ears, curly fries, cole slaw and some corn nugget app. The wings were so small! What a HUGE letdown. The coleslaw cost $4 for this tiny container! What a rip off. Their curly fries were the best thing and they were obviously from a frozen bag. I asked our server for hot sauce on the side because the sauce wasn't spicy at all, she never brought it out. I still left a good tip $18 on a $93 bill but we will never return here. Not sure if so many people love it because it's a local spot but spending over $100 for that quality is ridiculous."

"2020 really did a number on this place and I feel like it’s best years are behind. I used to adore the salmon fillet and hold it up with the very best that you can find in the valley. I got to give props to the management staff for making good when something goes wrong for the customer. They will make all sorts of allotments. The problem is I don’t think the entrées and the presentation match the level that the restaurant is aspiring to. A few times I had the bread and it was a little bit tough whereas many years ago it used to be very nicely done where it’s hard but not too much. Lately it’s been overdone and dry and not worth it. Skip the bread. I had the prime rib and that was decent well done but so much of the cut is from the fat that you lose about 2 or 3 ounces. It’s unconscionable though that the salad they sent me home with was put into a cardboard box which could leak through. I thought maybe they put some aluminum foil down in the box to keep the salad isolated but the regard for salads at this place has definitely fallen off from when I would go for lunch entrées with salad regularly to hoping you don’t get poisoning from it. Their sirloin is excellent though but doesn’t do anything that really justifies the surcharge of the location. I know recent times have hit the restaurant industry tough but the changes to the dining hall which make it feel less comfortable, the fact that there was no courtesy Wi-Fi for people waiting, and a lot of the disregard for the food despite the high asking price makes it clear that this is not a location to go regularly unless you have a really good discount on hand. With the sorry state of steakhouses in the Antelope Valley, it’s unfortunate that this location is slipping in their regard for presentation. They still know how to do steaks but everything else is slipping. I used to go here a lot more often and unfortunately my previous visit will likely be my last."

"My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice early Valentines dinner. Last year we went to the San diego location and everything was perfect. We were hoping to recreate that experience but it didn't really go as planned. First off we made a reservation online. We do not live locally so we gave ourselves an hour to arrive. We checked in about 10 mins early. As we waited, guests were coming in without reservations and seated before us. We thought maybe because we requested a booth but realized these multiple parties were being seated in booths. Confused and upset we considered leaving. It made no sense that you would take care of people without reservations before someone with a reservation. Once we we got to our table which was not a booth , our waitress seemed flustered and all over the place. I waited 15 minutes for a drink refill and honestly she was nowhere to be found. The waiter taking care of the table behind us mentioned specials they were having and an app they offer with discounts. Our waitress never spoke of any of that. We downloaded the app and just listened in to everything that waiter was telling his tables. The food came out great except our fried zucchini. The zucchini pieces were sitting in a lot of grease on the plate. I would suggest downloading the app. We saved about $15 off our bill."

"The food here is good for the most part, however that’s not why this place is getting one star. They’re service has gone a bit downhill since my last visit here. First there were a bunch of waiters standing around and not waiting tables on a slow day. Second the guy who handed my table our food was talking gibberish and I couldn’t understand anything he was saying for a solid 5 seconds. Third i ordered pizza with my meal and it didn’t come out until I reminded my waiter so it was probably sitting in the kitchen for 10 mins. Also it came out too late so I was already full and only had two slices and I brought the rest home. The pizza also crumbled apart when I tried pulling a slice out! Lastly a member in my group wanted to pay for his own meal so we told the waiter this and when the bill came out it was only one bill instead of two like it should’ve been and said member asked the waiter at the start of the order. We decided against dessert because we didn’t want to stay an extra hour. I won’t be back anytime soon because there are better dive and sports bars closer to me! The staff at those establishments also know how to listen and they can speak fluently!"

"Was honestly disappointed by this place. In the past often here and it was great. At first we went with reservations, but had to wait 15 minutes, angry, but okay, I suppose. The staff was not apologetic at all and was completely stone. We finally sat, but the staff forgot us. 15 minutes passed and we didn't even get water. We decided to go somewhere else, and we told them we'd go ahead because we don't have a service. The staff shredded and said without care. It was depressing to see a place I love to sink to this level of service."

"Take a moment to appreciate food for what it is, rather than imposing unrealistic expectations on a place that may not be designed for that level of scrutiny. With that in mind, BA is a dependable choice for a casual family dining experience..."
