"I tried the burger shortly after lunch and I have a feeling it might have been left over from the night before. The top of the bun was mushy and fell apart when I tried to bite into it. The cheese was a darker orange than usual and had started to dry out and harden at the edges. The ketchup also looked like it was beginning to dry up. Despite these issues, it was still a McDonald's burger, so it tasted pretty much the same as always."

"I keep giving this McDonalds a try thinking next time it will be better but it never is. The Big Mac I received today was horrible. You could just look at it to see how hard the buns were without even touching it and both hamburger patties were super salty and looked like they had been sitting for hours and the fries were super salty. I wasn’t able to eat any of it. I’m not super picky, but McDonalds you need to do better. I won’t be back. Chick-fil-A will be my go to from now on. I don’t even care if I have to drive farther to get it. The food is always good and the order is always right. I don’t even know how this place is even still open. "The drive through was not a fun experience. Tried to order and was getting rushed through the drive through before I could even say my full order even though I was being polite and asked for a minute. So I pulled away to go inside and order only to find a large group of people waiting in line at the register with no employee there to take orders. So i decided to use the kiosk rather than speak with a person at the register to order food even though if you pay cash you still have to pay at the register (felt like a waste of time waiting to use the kiosk and then waiting in another line to pay). I left rather annoyed instead of eating there simply becasue the wait inside was too long, and in the drivethrough i was being rushed. I can't speak for the food but the environment and customer service there was very lack luster"

"I visited this McDonald's on my way to Bible Study, and I had a great experience! The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and my food was prepared and served quickly enough for me to catch my next bus in under 10 minutes. In fact, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes altogether. The food was delicious too!"

"Ordered a McDouble bundle and the fries were not cooked correctly they were cold and soggy ruined my appetite. I called to fix the problem and the manager didn’t help me at all she just kept telling me that she was cooking everything fresh so I told her no my fries are cold and they look white she still tried to argue with me and when I ask who am I speaking too she said the manager I asked for her name and she kept going on that it was impossible that she cooked everything fresh I told her maybe one of your employees took it out the fryer too soon and she said no. She told me to come in and show her the fries and I told her no it’s too late it’s a inconvenience for me because this was my 30 min break and it was just terrible service and food, the manager never solved my problem instead tried to argue with me and tell me I’m wrong 1 star for me."

"I have been a frequent morning at Bethalto site for several years. Today I was at 7:20 for my breakfast and drinks. I had problems with my coupon and the girl waiting for me was new, but the manager was more than helpful to get what I needed! When I got my sum, I hardly had enough money when I thought I had more in my pocket, another $20 bill. I went by to make my tea and the girl waiting for me asked if I had just dropped a $20 yes! That was mine! The nice young man who is there every day to clean the dining area had found it immediately and it was in- and since I was the last customer, they knew it was mine! Believe me, I'm very well aware that they don't have to be honest and give up, but they have it! I was back home to see if I dropped it in my highway when I knew I had it. But- your employees were both SO honest and friendly You should be very proud of them both and I wish I had got their names now because they both deserve a real recognition from the owners for this good deed! Hopefully, this date and timestamp can help you determine who they are and again THANK YOU BOTH for my $20 back!"

"So. I know its not good for me but I still want it at times kinda thing. Like some sin. It's still reliable food and the flavor is what your actually paying for. Not the nutrition. Even though there's some there I hear there's weird nano tech stuff fromthe totalitarian techno crats trickling into the meats. Potatoes look safe!!! You can get a really good coffee from here! Andyou can get it with NO SUGAR which is a modern day miracle. Would I feed this to my kids? No. Why not? Because it's importantfor kids food to have their moms love in it. Not their grandma's. "Last year They didnt put 10 piece Mcnugget in the bag. We didn't see it until we were at the drive through. I called and they wanted me to immediately come back but I was already at the drive in. They offered to send me a gift card but it never came. Today my so went to get us food through the drive through. They gave us my wifes drink and fries but no Big Mac. Very disappointed"

"Terrible experience but it isn 't the staffs fault so much as it was the terrible app. We stopped off here to grab some food before headed to Splish Splash in Calverton. I used my app to get a #1 with the $1 large fries for my girl. She used her app to get the $5 nuggets to go with her fries.Simple enough, right?Tell me how we spent 30 minutes trying to get the app to work? I was able to place my order but we were having trouble with hers. We did inside pick up and the app wouldn 't allow us to check out and pay for the food. After finding out you need to be standing near the registers for the promo to work, it was finally allowing us to check out... only for it to say there was an error placing your order, please speak to a crew member . So we did. The crew members knew absolutely nothing and was no help at all. In a situation like this, the manager should step in and override the register to accommodate the promo you are having trouble redeeming. They did nothing except say that the app was a seperate entity and we would have to call the number for a resolution. Now, I 've called them before over a different issue and it 's literally the worst experience. They have no idea what you 're talking about and you get the run around until you just get annoyed and frustrated enough to just hang up. So, I didn 't even bother calling them this time although I should.My girl wound up getting a completely different meal from what she wanted and now we were stuck with an extra order of fries that I redeemed in my order. We had it all planned out, as you should when ordering from the app. You absolutely should be taking advantage of the offers and promos within the app but this time it did not go smoothly at all and nobody cared nor felt motivated to help. After we showed the cashier the problem we were having on the app, she kinda just shook her head and said damn that 's crazy and then proceeded to charge us full price for a meal my girlfriend pretty much didn 't even want. I said wow so you guys aren 't even going to try ro remedy the situation and still charge us full price for something we didn 't really want? Waste of 30 minutes, waste of extra money, waste of fries and to top it all off, the chicken sandwich my girlfriend got wasn 't even the one she wanted. She was disappointed about her food and I felt bad for her. Terrible experience. Mcdonalds has gotten to the point where they make so much money and have so many customers that they can do the absolute bare minimum and somehow thinks it 's acceptable."

"Today my family and I went to McDonald’s for breakfast and let me tell you. It was awful. They were giving people food that ordered after us, we waited for 40 45 minutes for three biscuits, there was a manager literally yelling at customers, when we did get our order they didn’t give us our sweet teas so we had to wait even longer, the ice coffee we had that was supposed to be vanilla was just cream and coffee and tastes awful, and my sister found A HAIR in her food because they don’t wear hair nets and one of the managers had long black hair that wasn’t up. It was so bad I want to give you a zero, but that’s not possible so I give you a one."

"I've come here four times every single time has been a negative experience with customer service and with my purchase. First I bought large fries and got home to LITERALLY half a large fry no fallen fries in the bag, just decided to give me half of what I payed for. Second time I bought two Mcchickens with tomato and onion and cheese. They charged me for everything and gave me two PLAIN MCHICKENS NO MAYO NO LETTUCE. Last time when I ordered I told them I need you to make my order right please I've been played by you guys two times already. I ordered two Mc Chickens again and again two regular mcChickens. I stayed at the window to check before I left when I complained and asked to get my order right the worker opened them with the hands he just handled money with and tried to hand them back saying they had onion. But not cheese and tomato. He got mad at ME because they made my order wrong. Today I gave them another shot and this time I took a picture, NO TOMATO NO CHEESE on my McChicken again. And look at this Frap. Almost a quarter of the cup is missing and when I told them they just put more whipped cream. I don't like making a scene but Jesus, every time. I HATE this place this is the absolute worst McDonald's to come to WORST SERVICE ! The manager took my frap and brought it back 45 seconds later untouched, whipped cream melted. And said here I go like she did something to fix the problem. Worst McDonald's ever."

"During my recent visit, I noticed that the tables were consistently dirty throughout the day, with a sticky residue on them. The floors were in similarly poor condition. Customer service was another issue; one employee took our order while distracted by her phone, seemingly engaged with Snapchat, and the service was inexplicably slow for a fast-food restaurant that wasn't busy. Additionally, some staff members have a habit of wearing their pants low and constantly adjusting them, without adhering to basic hygiene practices like washing their hands. They don't wear gloves or wash their hands as needed, which is concerning. While I realize that many of these employees are young, it's the management's responsibility to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and unfortunately, the management seems just as lackadaisical. Given these conditions, I wouldn't be surprised if this McDonald's faces closure due to health and safety violations. If you find yourself at this location, please pay close attention to how your food is being prepared, as these workers clearly lack proper training on hygiene practices. "One star feels generous. Rude, slow, and inaccurate are the words that best describe this store and its employees.
