"our group had several different dishes with a lot of variety and, we shared. everything was great about the top, best at all. everything was perfect. the only thing I could not comment with a perfect score is that some of the workers did not seem happy. they were in order, nice to us, but to see them behind the bar or back in the kitchen, they didn't see to be there."

"I like crowd, good eating, fun place, great outsight on hb, the phrase energetic for noise, I would say wrong, it is very loud, not a quiet, romantic place at all, especially since the bar is right next to the main dining area. we had difficulty hearing the server and each other, it was a Saturday night, very busy and packed. we are local, so we understand. a thing that annoyed me was that a kerl smoked a zigarre in the courtyard, right in front of the dining room that opened doors, so that no possibility to avoid the smell. I don't understand why someone would smoke a cigar near people. I don't know what politics is in smoking, they were out, near the people who eat."

"Had filet mignon tacos that were great but they have steaks, burgers, appetizers. New Mexico SW dishes... spicy. Convenient parking by valet. Atmosphere was great. $50pp with alcoholic bvgs. Says kid friendly and that might be but it is a great place to go on date night. Outdoor scenery was fantastic. Only negative was the salsa. Did not care for it at all, either flavor. Overall, it was a great experience."

"**THE OK:** The fish taco deserves some recognition for being free of breading, featuring a fresh flavor, and a light cream sauce. However, the fish itself could have used a bit more seasoning, and it was served in a flour tortilla, which somewhat dulled the flavors. I would definitely order the fish taco again, but I would prefer it to be made with a corn tortilla next time. **THE BAD:** While the homemade salsa bar includes four great salsas, one of them was quite disappointing. It’s a mild, chunky red salsa with an unusual sweetness that reminds me of sweet pickles. I recommend trying any of the other salsas instead of this one. I’m looking forward to returning to this restaurant to try more items on the menu, especially their mole sauce."

"We held a holiday party here in December 2023 and everyone who attended was very impressed with the personal touch given by John Slattery and his staff. Planning the party was made very simple because they are very accommodating and flexible. All questions were answered, John was extremely responsive to emails making it a very easy decision to go with this venue! The food was excellent, great variety and plenty!! Also, compared to other venues during the Holiday season in the heart of NYC, this was the best bang for our buck! The location is also excellent, located right near the Empire State Building, Penn Station and Grand Central, making it an ideal location for anyone to travel to this location from anywhere, really! The balcony on the second floor added a great touch, giving us the option to go outdoors, while still having the option to stay indoors- all within the privacy of our own party space. If you're thinking of having an event, big or small, don't waste your time calling other places. This is the best one!! If you're a sports enthusiast, you'll DEFINITELY love this place even more!! Sports memorabilia, great spot to watch games, hold a Superbowl party, or any other party!! Five stars, A Highly recommend Slatterys!!!"

"We are interested in healthy food without oil. We don't eat meat, dairy, fried food, or seafood. We asked Evan to fix us a special vegan roll, not sure if he was up to the challenge. Boy, did he impress! He made two rolls: one w slow cooked mushrooms (not pictured) and also nigiri w roasted yellow peppers (not pictured). It was outstanding! He also fixed us some tofu w scallions and a simple sauce which he and his wife enjoy at home. We also got some udon noodles and steamed vegetables which were outstanding.It was so good we were practically licking the plates!We heartily recommended them to our monthly WVegan Supper Club as our members are interested in heart healthy food.Such a lovely meal everything was so delicious! We will definitely be back!!! Vegetarian options: I didn't even look for vegan options. I simply described what we wanted (no oil/cholesterol being key) and asked Evan (the sushi chef) to see what he could do to make something tasty. We were not disappointed! He gave us two outstanding vegan rolls, a plate of tofu with scallions and Dashi, and we also had a plate of steamed vegetables and a side of udon which we seasoned with fresh lemon slices and a bit of soy sauce. Dietary restrictions: We eat a WFPBNO for cardiovascular health. The chef was easily able to make several dishes without oil or fried food, meat or dairy, and they were still very flavorful and delicious. So good, we were simply astonished. Most people don't know how to make tasty food under those conditions."

"Steak was great. I’ve had better service which is expected since Shula’s has the nerve to charge so much for a steak, I’ll gladly pay but your mouth better smell tolerable, don’t drop silverware and menus around me, I’d like to not have to ask for a refill on my iced tea, I prefer to go to Bern’s, pay the price and have stellar service than to have a server who doesn’t know how to say “you’re welcome”. Tragic but true. Many times I thanked the server however he turned around and walked away. Simply no manners. This I blame on management, I’d make sure my clients are all being thanked for coming in. Even when we left I said “thank you for everything sir, I appreciate you”. The server said “thanks” and went back to the computer screen. I work in customer service, I’m persnickety with manners, if you’re charging the price, I demand good manners like I show your staff. I’ll give Shula’s stars for the steak, service"

"My wife had previously visited this restaurant on a girls' night out and recommended that our family give it a try. This is not your average pizza place, although they do serve pizza. As soon as we walked in, I could tell it was different from other places by the professional attire of the wait staff. We were seated promptly and our waiter, Brandon, was very knowledgeable about the menu and took our drink orders. My wife and I had beer while my son tried a Fireball Margarita made with Tequila and Fireball Whiskey, which I was hesitant about until I tried it myself - highly recommended! Brandon was attentive to my food allergies and quickly sought out the information I needed. For appetizers, we ordered the Tomato Bruschetta, which was delicious. Our main dishes arrived all at once and were hot, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. The portions were generous, with my wife and son needing to take leftovers home. When offered dessert, my son chose the cheesecake with a strawberry glaze, which he couldn't finish and had to take half home. Overall, this restaurant provided more than just a meal - it was an experience. The atmosphere and quality of food made me feel as though I was in Italy. While it's not fine dining, it is more upscale in terms of presentation. You don't need to dress up to appreciate the fantastic food and overall experience. I definitely plan on returning to try more dishes, and I also want to mention they have a Tap Room available, although we didn't have a chance to try it."

"We celebrated Valentine's Day at Prime after hearing wonderful things about their steaks. The filet mignon was outstanding. However, the overall atmosphere didn't live up to our expectations. The restaurant was quite noisy, and the service was just average. While they clearly have a thriving take-out business, it was somewhat distracting for the intimate dinner we had envisioned. The food was excellent, but if you're seeking a private and romantic setting, I would suggest considering other options."

"The restaurant was located in a hotel, and even though we had a reservation, we were greeted with a "seat yourself" sign upon arrival. The food was excessively sweet, including the calamari and the apple and walnut salad, which oddly had no greens. There was only one waitress serving the tables, and she brought our drinks one at a time. Overall, we were not impressed."

"Dead Dog has a track record of serving disappointing food, but typically, that’s not the main reason people go there. However, tonight's experience with both the food and service was especially poor. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with too many tables. I ordered onion rings but received French fries instead. When I asked for tartar sauce, I got cocktail sauce instead. I inquired about the fried oysters, and the waitress assured me they were good; otherwise, I would have chosen something different. Unfortunately, they were among the worst I’ve ever had — about ten small ones, each only the size of the tip of my index finger. The salad was also limp. Overall, not a great dining experience."

"Sick and tired of small business crying about how expensive everything is,we the customers feel it too. Ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, picked it up. Got home and realized it was just mushroom. The best part was when we called to bring it to their attention that Larry could have cared less. First he blamed it on VNET making their phone full of static,not the case as the order was clearly repeated over the phone. Then he put the blame on us saying that we should have known that $19.07 wasn't enough for a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. We don't work there or own the business. What I do know Larry is that we will NEVER be back. One thing you're forgetting. There are plenty of pizza shops in Erie. Just get it right for any future customers,can you do that Larry?? More than likely NO."
