"My family and I ordered take out from Ristorante Castello tonight. I decided on the filet for $48.00. (One of the pricier dishes) The reason why I bring up cost is due to the quality of the dish. I received the filet with 10 green beans and that was all for the meal. For this cost, you would expect a better presentation and quantity of food. I called the restaurant to speak to the “acting” manager and her response was, “This is how we serve it in the restaurant if you were dining in”. No other explanation and no apology or the want to please the customer. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. See the picture attached."

"Our group of 6 showed up about 30 minutes before our reservation. We were going to have a drink at the bar before we sat down to eat. The restaurant was empty except for a couple of tables. Took the waiter a while to ask us about drinks. All mixed drinks were sub-par. We were looking to take our time and enjoy some apps, dinner and drinks, but the waiter was very pushy to try and get us to go ahead and order our entrees. Overall, the atmosphere had a weird vibe. Food was ok, but not worth the prices they had on menu. Too many other good restaurants in the area to consider going back to this one again."

"What a wonderful place with super service and very tasty food. The caprese salad with bufala mozzarella was amazing with a wonderful dressing. I had the risotto with chicken, peas and four cheese sauce. This was so good that the others kept asking to taste more. The other entrees ordered were ravioli with ricotta, fettuccini Bolognese, and linguini with lobster meat. All were excellent and served in ample quantities...better be hungry when you go here! The atmosphere was warm and the service was outstanding. This was well worth the 45 minute drive from our hotel."

"My veal parm was very good, my friends veal marsala was so small it looked silly. Both the wives dishes were fine. We had brought 2 bottles of wine as they charge $25 corkage fee, what we have never had happen before was they charge it per bottle. I complained and was ignored. Who charges a local resident $50 for corkage service. Well no wonder the place was half empty !"

"We had a nice birthday celebration on New Years Day. The place was busy obviously very popular, and they reportedly have a nice happy hour. All of our food was excellent very tender octopus, nice lumache (snails), tender venison steak and excellent osso buco (which is easily big enough for two people). Our server was great attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back."

I arrived and I told him I needed a gift card he asked how much and when people walked in after me he chose to help them and then go to the back (which he didn't tell me he was going to get the gift card) came back up and helped someone else. "The atmosphere was noteworthy — warm and lively without being crowded, a fire going on the patio, a nice volume level. A wonderful space for a date night or celebration dinner. The service was good — what you’d expect for an establishment of that caliber. The food was, sadly, a serious letdown — we tried 6 dishes and found only 1 of them to be worth ordering again. The mussels were truly spectacular, perfectly done with a flavorful and interesting broth. Unfortunately, everything else disappointed. The radicchio and gnocchi were both very one-note and lacked balance, the pork chop was significantly over-salted, and the chocolate tres leches and beef tartare were mediocre. Not what we expected from the admiral at all, and quite a bummer!"

"Celebrated our friend’s 1st wedding anniversary this past weekend. Our table got a mix of restaurant week offerings and regular menu options. Food was fantastic- short rib gnocchi, squid ink Pasta, statler chicken with corn risotto. White sangria was delicious! Randy our server was personable and checked often to see how everything was going. Overall very nice place to eat and very friendly attentive staff."

"I did not find enough options here to frequent this establishment as a vegetarian. There seem to be plenty of meat-based offerings though. A name such as Root Vine gave me thoughts that it may be all-vegan or vegetarian. But that is not the case, which can be found very quickly by looking at any of the menus here. In any case, this is not a place for someone on a budget. The interior is not unpleasant though, so I will give rating that indicates it could use some improvement."

"Fun date night with just the casual atmosphere we were looking for. The food and service were both outstanding. Highly recommend the baguette which comes toasty warm and well seasoned. Tossed caprese is also an interesting take on a classic dish."

"We waited 25 minutes for our 6 pm reservation and then gave up. Lattanzi had irresponsibly and arrogantly overbooked and there were more than 20 of us in parties of 4 and 2 who stood at the door and couldn’t even check in with the door hostess. We all had reservations for 6 pm. The restaurant didn’t seem to care at all. No one came out to speak to us, to apologize and make reassuring noises that we were about the be seated. We gave up and went a few doors east to Barbetta, which took pity on us and gave us a lovely table in the bar area. We had a great meal there. Hopefully we won’t get a “no show” notice from OpenTable, since it was Lattanzi that was the no show!"

"A true gem in this town! Street parking is available along with a small private lot located in the back of the restaurant. On numerous occasions had lunch or dinner and every time had wonderful experiences. You have the option to sit at the bar or table. Pick the tables located against the wall for an intimate experience. The owner/manager Angelo is amazing! Nothing speaks louder then an owner on the floor doing the duties along side of his employees. Bravo!! The food overall is always superb. I recommend the grilled chicken Cesar salad and fried calamari. All tastes freshly made and portions are just right for the price. Your bar/drink option is full. Go for the Pinot Grigio or Zinfandel when having their pasta."

"WOW….just WOW! My girlfriend and I dined for restaurant week. I have always wanted to come to this restaurant as long as I can remember and just never had the opportunity. It took us an hour and a half to get to the restaurant, but I can assuredly say that it was absolutely worth it! The service was perfection and I was in the service industry for 30 years as a fine dining trainer so I would know. Every single morsel was delicious! The decor is phenomenal… Even if you have to go to the restroom, it is a treasure downstairs and we saw a private dining room in the back! One of the specials was a table side Seabass. I hope they have that upon our next return because we will definitely be back! "

"Plenty of parking. We reserved a table but the restaurant wasn't packed at all. The waitress was friendly but not as attentive as we would've liked. She paid more attention to the tables outside than us. There was a table next to us that sat after we received our appetizers that was able to order their desserts, get boxes and their check before the waitress came back to even address anything additional we needed. The signature cocktails were delicious. We ordered 6 feet sweet, distantini and valentini. They were all sweet without being overpowering. Flavors for all the beverages meshed well. The appetizers were amazing. I loved the goat cheese on the bruschetta since it was a different take with the flavors intertwining well. The garlicky cheese bread was a bit short of the amount of garlic but was definitely a sense of comfort food. The crab cakes were delicious with plenty of crab included. The eggplant fries were good overall but I had a higher expectation for the pesto sauce. The marinara was top notch but the pesto sauce was too watery as a sauce. Entrées fell a bit short in my opinion. We ordered the roasted salmon, grilled filet mignon and sausage carbonera. The salmon was delicious but the rice pilaf was bland. The sausage carbonera was way too salty. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Overall for the amount we paid, customer service and quality of food, it was a bit of a mark missed for being top notch for me personally. I would recommend to stop but won't be making it a point to come again."

"We haven’t been here in a while, and came back to a fabulous dining experience. We were seated promptly in the charming outdoor space. Although the noise level was high, our intimate table for two still felt private. The wait staff was superprofessional and took our orders promptly. The food came out so quickly I couldn’t believe it! They had a great selection ofcreative cocktails appetizers and main courses. We ordered the tuna tartare and crabcakes as appetizers, and both weredelicious, beautiful, and generous. We had the sole and the shrimp tacos for our main courses, and the latter came with 3 gianttacos with HUGE shrimp— delicious $29). The soul was a bit skimpy for someone with a hearty appetite, but I was happy toshare one of my three huge tacos. The only disappointment on the menu was no dessert options without dairy. While I appreciate ahighly curated menu, lots of us need/want a dessert choice that isn’t rich, just to end on a special note. Their hostess staffwas also superb and efficient. I believe that their use of handheld wireless ordering devices must be adding speed to theirturnaround. Kudos to The Farmhouse! We will be back again soon!"

"The food was very good. This was the first time at this restaurant and overall we were happy with the experience. The service was very good and we were not rushed out. Our server was very nice and offered many suggestions for substitutions but he appeared to be overworked working on many tables. The pricing is a tad expensive and they don't share the prices for the specials or beef selections so be careful. You might be surprised when the check arrives."

"We’re in town for just one night and had driven 6 hours to get here, so we were starving! We saw that Aldo’s was close to our hotel and had great reviews and we decided to try it out. We are so glad we did! Oh. My. Goodness. Quite possibly the best Italian food/ food in general!!!! Everything was fresh, handmade/homemade and absolutely delicious. Our daughters are very picky and very rarely eat food when we are out, but they devoured their pizza, Stromboli and fries!!Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful experience!"
