"We have driven by this restaurant many times, so decided to try it out on a date night. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and friendly. We were given recommendations that were delicious in the end. I loved the delicious Sangiovese/Cabernet wine we decided to try as well as the calamari and fish dish we shared. The calamari was crunchy, without being overdone. The fish came whole and the server took the time to debone the fish and give me the crispy and salty skin I said I wanted the most! There is an easy lot to park at behind the restaurant, and plenty of space to sit inside or outside to dine. We will be back for sure!"

"Last night, we had dinner at Sienna in Smithfield to celebrate my birthday. The food was excellent as always, and our server, Mimi, was very attentive and pleasant. We have visited all three locations and have never had any issues. Our only critique is regarding the locations, two of which are situated in shopping plazas. The Smithfield location has a wall of windows facing the parking lot. Unfortunately, there was a small incident of road rage visible from our table. I would suggest decorating the windows to block the view as no one goes there for that. The bright lights from the parking lot also made it difficult to enjoy our evening dining experience. Despite this, we look forward to more delicious meals at Sienna!"

"This was our second visit to Tutti Toscani. After leaving, I posted I don 't know why you 're not eating here and we don 't eat here more. Absolutely everything about our meal was fabulous! Dillon was our attentive server. He was friendly and professional, and he answered all our questions. The server assistants kept our water filled and quickly boxed our leftovers at the table. We ordered the eggplant and mushroom appetizers. WOW!! Both were cooked perfectly and completely delicious! Then, we placed our dinner order. I ordered the Veal Piccata and added scallops to the dish. I asked for the scallops to have a really good sear on them. The scallops didn 't have quite the sear on both sides I was looking for, but DIllon took them right back and they were fixed up in no time!! The veal, the scallops, the pasta were all cooked perfectly, and the flavor was out of this world!! My husband ordered the Veal Monte Rosa. WOW AGAIN!!! The sauce was PERFECT not too heavy like many sauces are. For dessert, we ordered the lemon cheesecake. Once again, WOW!!! My only complaint is that it was a rather small piece. We will be back much more often!! Keep up the good work!!"

"You absolutely must not miss Gnocchi night at this restaurant. They truly have the best gnocchi I've ever tasted. My Italian grandmothers and mother have both made gnocchi, but theirs is the best by far. They offer a variety of 12 sauces, but the gnocchi itself is the real star. The service is excellent, with attentive staff constantly bringing more. If you can't make it on the 29th, be sure to try their gnocchi another time."

"This was a very disappointing dinner. We had invited friends from many years to join us for dinner at what I expected to be a good meal. I had seen the reviews in Open Table and they rated Pretto highly. This convinced me to make the reservation. Three of us chose the specials, and that was a big mistake. Homemade pasta was accompanied by a lukewarm sauce, chicken breast was tough and dry and the prosciutto was hard to identify. The Arctic char did not have much taste. The chef must have taken a long break before dinner service. The only bright note was that we had a window-side table, so had a lot of light. When we first arrived they could not find my Open TAble reservation, eventually they told me thay had two reservations for my party of 4- go figure!!! Then the following day I received an e-mail from Open Table asking why I had not shown up for my reservation!!!!!"

"Kosher restaurant in the UWS. Came here for a work dinner as it satisfied all of our dietary restrictions. The dips and the desserts were awesome! The chocolate babka is incredible. This is a pricey place as a heads up (pastas are $40 and mains are $80+ each, $20 per dessert)."

"The food was fresh and delicious! The menu offered a wide variety of options. My order arrived promptly, and the portions were generous for what I had chosen. The waitstaff was extremely pleasant and attentive. However, I have a somewhat unusual critique: I felt that the waitstaff was a bit too attentive. They checked in on us nearly every few minutes, asking if everything was okay, if we needed anything else, if we wanted more coffee, wine, dessert, or if they could clear our plates. I was trying to enjoy my meal in a more relaxed atmosphere."

"This place is absolutely terrific, and I'm puzzled as to why it isn't more busy. It certainly deserves to be. Hopefully word spreads quickly. This is as authentic as it gets. The food portions were very generous for the price, and everything we tried was delicious. You order at the counter, but then sit down and they bring your food to you. The food was beautifully presented. Everything they bring looks like the photos on their website. The decor is very nice and I'd consider this a great place for a date or night out. The owner was very kind and attentive, and checked in on us. They also brought some bruschetta after we ordered."
