"I was not impressed by this restaurant. I had high expectations of this place and that is why we chose it to celebrate a special birthday. I was disappointed in the food and the service. Due to the ranking and prices of this restaurant, the food, in general, was lacking in flavor and very mediocre. The worst of the menu we chose was the hamburger. The meat was extremely dry, and tasteless. The Stroganoff was horrible. The only acceptable dish was the Ossobuco. This"

"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails, and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"Dine-in Experience Price per person: $1–10 Food Rating: 2/5 Service Rating: 2/5 Atmosphere Rating: 2/5 The dining experience was quite disappointing overall. For the price range of $1 to $10 per person, one might expect basic satisfaction, but unfortunately, the food fell short, earning a rating of 2 out of 5. The service was equally lackluster, also receiving a score of 2. Lastly, the atmosphere did not create a welcoming or enjoyable environment, leading to another score of 2. Overall, it was a below-average experience that did not live up to expectations."

"The beer drinkers at our table ordered different beers that ended up not being available, another that was ordered was unavailable, the ribs were not available, surely the staff should have been made aware of this at the beginning of the night instead of having to keep coming back to tell us. My daughter who has nut and sesame allergies could hardly have anything off the menu. Apparently the whole kids menu except the rotisserie chicken, the nachos, and all the desserts except sticky date pudding contain nuts and sesame, even the ice cream. I did put a note when I booked the table about her allergies, perhaps someone could have let me know that all the food would be unsuitable? The staff were friendly and attentive and the food we were able to order was good, but we would not return"

"The hosts for our monthly dinner group this month picked The Tavern. Great choice. There were only six of us this month but everyone loved their food and the service was excellent. The Tavern was a busy place on a Saturday evening; even at 6pm. And the noise level was a bit high. We were seated at a round booth that was a bit of a tight fit but at least we were close enough together that we could hear each other. The entrees everyone ordered ranged from the Zuni Chicken Salad (my choice) to the Prime Meatloaf, the Rotisserie Pork Chop, the French Dip, the Fort Worth Cobb Salad and the Famous Pastrami Sandwich. Literally everyone loved their food. The pork chop was huge (definitely two and maybe three meals) but moist and tender. My wife had the meatloaf and brought half of it home for another meal. It came with mashed potatoes that she said were ok. She didn't think they were homemade but they were good enough. I ate too many appetizers at the hosts' home so I wasn't overly hungry so the Zuni Chicken Salad was just right. A lot of times the chicken chunks on a salad like this aren't the best cut. But this had white meat chicken that was tender and moist as all get out. And all of the ingredients were fresh/ We were near the kitchen so I watched a lot of food come out. Everything looked good! Gabriela took great care of us. She checked on us just often enough and kept my Diet Coke glass full which can be challenging. I'm already planning on taking a friend of mine that loves pastrami there to try their Famous Pastrami Sandwich. The person in our group that had it ate it all (which was a challenge because it was huge like the other entrees) and said he'd have it again."

"my wife and I stopped eating on Tuesday night in this week. we were very kindly greeted by the staff, and our waiter was solicitous and efficient. we ordered a burger and shared him with something broccolini, a few glasses wein, and the suppe of the day that was tomaten with, I think was goat cheese. the burger was great, the broccolini good, and the tomaten soup was forgotten, taste more than someone just a few cento tomatenpaste, a bit water, maybe a little salt and pfeffer, and throw some goat cheese up. the wine selection by the glass was good, but no bargain. there was a promotion on beer, but it was pitcher, and an inconspicuous US mass market beer, so no interest there. the online next promotion was $12 burger and beer, but from some reason we seemed to have missed the point there - the materials they seemed to be delivering to emphasize the beer pitcher and not the $12 burger with it. we probably didn't understand. we paid something like $60 for a burger, a suppe and two glasses wein. that was very elevated to my view. I think we could have gone to mortons or after the capital grile and got less better food. Despite that, it was good, the place had a great ambiente, and the waiting staff and the management were very nice and appealing. it looks like a great place to be together with a friend or two for happy hour, the advantages of cheap appetizers and drinks."

"We had a 5pm reservation. The restaurant looked like a cyclone hit it. Lots of tables had not been bused, dirty dishes everywhere. It took hostesses several minutes of discussion before deciding where to seat us (restaurant was relatively empty and we had a reservation). Waitress gave us excellent service, however, two members of my group ordered the Lemon Chicken, which showed up to our table without the lemon sauce. It took almost 10 minutes to rectify the situation, waitress apologized profusely when bringing out the sauce. One of us ordered the Pasta Verde spaghetti and zucchini. There was barely any zucchini and it was mostly spaghetti. We were a table of six and only half of us enjoyed our meals. Part of the dinner conversation revolved around our previous bad experiences dining at Brio none of us could figure out why we were here again experiencing another disappointing meal."

"Amanda and Jeff our servers were great! 5 stars! The problems were with the amount of time it took to get food and drinks! They didn’t have olives for the martini, didn’t have there famous flatbread crackers with the bread, they ran out of certain appetizers as well as desserts! We were served one pizza so under cooked it could not be eaten."

"I ate at Century for the first time for a Valentine's dinner. The restaurant is priced as upscale, and the environment was inviting aside from the volume being up on a TV basketball game at the bar. That was odd, especially since the restaurant was small. Another odd thing was our waiter. He acted as if he was serving at a family chain type place, and we had to ask him to do basic server things like refill water, take plates, etc. Professionalism was really lacking. Food: The crab cakes were excellent, the Teres Steak entrée was delicious, but the shrimp and grits were so so. The tails and veins were still attached to the shrimp, even though they sat in a mushy blob of stuff, making it really hard to cut the tails off. The blob tasted good, but the texture was hard to wrap my mind around. I won't order that again. At any rate, it could be a great place if they got some professional attitudes in there, along with a bit more common sense."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend trying the Parmigiano veal. Our server was friendly and offered helpful suggestions from the menu. I was worried about finding seating on New Year's Eve, but my wife and I were accommodated in a cozy cabin shared with two other guests. The prices were fair and the quality of the food was not compromised. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at a casual neighborhood restaurant."

"Was looking for a nice restaurant near the hotel that wasn 't going to cost a lot of money and that I didn 't have to get too dressed up for. This place was walking distance from the Intercontinental and easy to locate. The decor was upscale without being pretentious. I was one of 3 people dining at the time but it was early for dinner in Miami. It was cozy and warmly lit a nice atmosphere. But enough about that...The food was EXCELLENT! The home made pate was delish and my steak was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. I could not eat dessert (too full!!! . It was an excellent meal with a couple glasses of wine and completely reasonably priced compared to some of the other more high end restaurants in the area. I would definitely go back another time I am in Miami."

"if you want tasty and delicious high-quality seafood this is where you need to go. From the minute you walk in you are welcomed by the owner. The waiters are very attentive. The restaurant is immaculate. I ordered the seafood risotto which could not have been better. I ordered delicious Broccoli Rabe, and added it. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I have not had a good cup of coffee like that in a long time unfortunately from the meal we were too full for dessert, but I would highly recommend this restaurant and they do have a parking lot in the back."

"SAO offers excellent Italian trade fair and offers a great service. We visited Monday and it was busy. The outer seat area is comfortable and well designed. Our server was professional and welcoming. I always have chicken parm in new Italian restaurants and her is a solid offer. Our Gnocchi and Meatball Appetizers also at point. All in, I was shaking over SAO to all my Bay Area friends and would return without hesitation."

"Food was good, service was lacking a bit. We had dinner for 10 people and I think the waitress was fairly new and a bit uncertain. Drinks took forever and food came in waves and some members of our party were served after others were finished eating."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."
