"Crowded inside/outside for dinner! Parking will be rough! Dishes were made with care, medium size portions and generally top tier! (we had house shrimp bisque, duck, chicken salad) What made this place amazing was their WAIT STAFF. No drink unfilled, no table unattended. You had like 3 waiters at all times... 11/10 for service With an unmatched wine list this is apparently date night land. Would absolutely reccomend you guys carpool or taking an Uber!"

"I’ve had Saturday brunch here many times but yesterday’s experience was terrible. Service was slow, eggs were hard and they had no jelly for the toast. It’s brunch for goodness sakes, you’d think they would have jelly! It took forever to get our food as well as our check when finished eating. An hour brunch took almost two hours and we got bacon and eggs! Doesn’t take that long to prepare. The place was almost empty and all of the wait staff looked like they were moving in slow motion. A friend of mine warned me not to go, that she had just had a bad experience there a few weeks prior. I didn’t listen because restaurants can always have an “ off day” when things just aren’t going well. I hate to see this happen to Brio because they’ve always been consistent with food and service and Ive enjoyed going there. Hope they can get it together before they go under!"

"Had a ladies ' night with 5 friends at Tico on a Saturday night in November. The ambiance was warm and inviting with a variety of patrons both young and old. Initially service was very attentive with drinks coming out quickly and the waitress checking multiple times on our readiness to order food. Food was delicious, we tried a number of options on the Small Plates section of the menu and the mac n cheese was the crowd favorite. However it seems that after a large party arrived, our table may have become less of a priority. The second round of drinks (margaritas) had too much lime and when we asked for another pitcher and to have our food packed up, we were instead brought the bill and the food was cleared away. Not sure if our waitress was overwhelmed or if there was some confusion in communication the energy got very lively towards the end of our meal and it might have been hard to hear. All in all the food was certainly worth the trip and all of us were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable check!"

"I’ve enjoyed many pleasant evenings with blackened swordfish, poached salmon, very nice salads looking over the Intracoastal waters as the boats passed by, indoors, outdoors on the terrace or sitting at the bar. Now live piano bar is happening."

"Made reservation in open table for our anniversary, but after driving the 25 minutes to the restaurant, it was closed. Sign on front door said closed for Columbus day. Very disappointed. We can 't leave a review, but was forced to rate the restaurant even though I never ate there. Something is wrong when Open Table can give you a reservation for a restaurant that is closed for the holiday. I don 't know where the fault lies, Open Table or the restaurant, but I won 't use Open Table again. Sent email to open table but it was refused. Tried to leave a review for Open Table on their website it said that I can 't review them until my reservation was honored by the restaurant . . Pretty screwed up!"

"A Chicago staple for a reason, this place carves out a niche for itself by having some truly unique menu items. Bring your sweet tooth, as the hot chocolate is an absolute must, with lots of options and flavor combinations. A full bakery serving cookies, rolls, breads, scones, donuts and other assorted musings. Or sit down and have actual breakfast, sausage, eggs, french toast, whatever; everything has been good anytime I am here. Definitely make a reservation if you can, otherwise you'll be waiting as there is always a line out the door. The dining room is a bit cramped, and naturally the noise level is often very high. But for food this good, all of that can be forgiven."

"Ordered the halibut and it was delicious. I loved the sides- we got shoshito peppers corn and also the butternut squash. The squash could have been seasoned better but the sauce they brought us made up for that. The truffle aioli was my favorite. Cocktails were excellent. There are some sweeter mixed drinks on the menu- we chose to order them for dessert."

"We were suppose to meet another couple when we arrived at our reservation. Mind you we were not aware they closed at nor that the kitchen closed at Upon our arrival they wouldnât seat us because the whole party wasnât there and we told that if they didnât arrive by they couldnât seat us. Now if that would have been a or reservation, I would have understood but it was And honesty if your kitchen closes at why offer an reservation?? I understand business is so good for them, they can afford to turn people away. But in my opinion- I was was less than pleased. When we were finally seated, the service was mediocre. I get it, it was closing time and it was obvious our servers mind was set on closing. He rushed our drinks forgot to bring our apps and didnât bring bread. When I asked for it again, he said he would and didnât, I had to ask again. I absolutely love the food at Antonioâs but I have to honestly say the way we were treated as soon as we arrived and the sever not giving us the service we deserved- I will not be rushing to go back any time soon. BEWARE: Iâd be sure to book a much earlier reservation where you can get treated way better and with out the rush."

"We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"Was spending the weekend camping nearby, and on our first night decided to order take out from here. The parking lot was full, people were standing outside waiting, and we knew this place had to be good. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, and my husband inquired about our order while I used the restroom. My husband was already outside waiting for me with our meals. He opted for the famous French dip, I had the braised short ribs, and we shared a bowl of New England style clam chowder. Everything was packaged neatly and travelled well. We both devoured our meals while enjoying the view from our campsite. The short rib was very flavorful and fork tender. It was served with mashed potatoes, roasted baby carrots, and sauteed button mushrooms in a red wine sauce. My husband loved his sandwich and did not share, so I know it must've been good. The clam chowder was ok, as the broth was a bit thinner than I prefer. Overall, we were both satisfied with our meals and would definitely come back again!"

"What a wonderful way to celebrate New Year's morning! The food was outstanding and very filling, with plenty of leftovers to take home. Each person's total, including drinks and tips, came to $25 or less. They also handled our separate checks for the six of us without any issues. Beverage refills were prompt and attentive. I can't wait to come back!"

"on Monday night, not super busy. the service was good as the brot. I thought the chicken parm would be quite good, but honestly this was just eating ok. my brokkoli and kartoffels were room temperature, the tortellini of my dame were a little overcooked and mushy we tried the pesto gnocchi of my grandmother and they were delicious, but they said they tasted like lead water we really need this place"

"A friend was in Charlottesville for business, so we drove down from Fredericksburg for dinner. The food was good, but not remarkable. I ordered the lamb meatballs and the crab cakes. The meatballs were good. The crab cakes had no filler, but I found them to be dry. My wife had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were good sized, but there weren't very many of them. The grits were done well. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate torte, which was incredible! The service was very slow. The waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order, despite writing it down when we ordered it. They came out with our entree. We had to wait quite a while for a check, too. I'd go back, but I wouldn't pick it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"This was our first time dining at Everett's, and we chose to celebrate our anniversary there. We made reservations two days in advance and requested a table by the window. We had a short wait before being seated at a table with a lovely view of frozen Lake Wasilla and the mountains. The service was quick, and we started off with delicious cocktails. My wife enjoyed a wedge salad, while I ordered the seafood chowder, both of which were excellent. For our main course, we both had the 8 oz top sirloin, which was cooked perfectly to our liking. The steak was delicious. I opted for sauteed mushrooms with my steak, but next time I will try the onions. As it was our anniversary, we were treated to a complimentary dessert of creme brulee cheesecake, which was superb. Our server was attentive and provided great service. All in all, I highly recommend dining at Everett's."

"Although the website listed the opening as 4:30pm, the kitchen did not open until 5pm. The rolls were excellent, as were the pinot noir and the beer. The tenderloin in the Beef Wellington tasted steamed, as if it had not been seared before wrapping in the puffed pastry, resulting in a muddy flavor. The frites were delicious, but the steak was slightly past medium rare. We ordered Sambuca, but were told it wasn 't served at The Wellington because it was served across the street at Il Casale. We ordered Drambuie instead, one up, one on the rocks. When presented with the bill, the Drambuie up was $8.00, while the Drambuie on the rocks was $10.50. We questioned the waiter regarding the $2.50 charge for ice and were informed it was special ice and company policy to charge for it. The rocks charge was eventually removed from the bill. On our way out, I questioned the manager regarding the rocks charge, and was told it should only be assessed for Martinis, not cordials. I 'm not sure what is so special about the ice, but I doubt it is worth $2.50, even in a Martini!! We will not be returning to The Wellington, although our friends have been amused by the special ice."

"Trevi is one of our fave places to eat both for casual snacks (aps and pizza) as well as some outstanding dinner entrees This time we brought another couple with us for their 1st time. While the food was totally awesome as always (the friends literally licked their plates clean) I believe the server was new. And while she absolutely tried... it somewhat fell short. Had to remind her couple of time to bring glasses for water in the beginning and the clearing of empty dishes from the table was lagging (and with 4 people pretty much hitting every course that started adding up fast and we were running out of room) Nothing horrible would not deter us from coming back by no means but just hoping that the young lady learns reasonably fast Else great evening as expected"

"We chose this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and the fact that the chef was a contestant on Top Chef Canada. We expected a culinary experience and I would say that's exactly what we were served up. We chose the 5 course pairing menu. Although we thought each course was paired with wine, the first was paired with beer and the last was supposed to be paired with a martini. Luckily the waitress changed the last pairing when she learned that I only drink wine. Each course was a shared dish and we were concerned that we would need to head out for pizza after the meal, but by the time we got to the last course, we were very satisfied. The quality, the cook, temperature and seasoning of each dish was perfect. So why are we rating this a 3 star? Well, because of three reasons: 1) there is no 3.5. 2) the chairs were seriously uncomfortable (metal chairs) and 3) the service was confused, slow and the staff were not the best, although our waitress was ok. We were beyond surprised when we overheard a waiter tell guests that he hoped not to be working there in three years. We didn't hear the context, but it seemed inappropriate. I'm sure the chef would have been mortified, especially since he actually brought out one course to most of the tables. With the right staff and more comfortable seating, we would have rated this a 5 star."

"They have Yo eggs! Awesome to try. Totally vegan. Many vegan options on the menu, especially for breakfast. Can get Just Eggs or the Yo vegan poached eggs on most things. Can't speak for lunch/dinner. Besides the cool eggs, the food was honestly average and would warrant more of a 3* review (potatoes barely crisped, everything could be more flavorful overall), but those eggs man. So good. The patio ocean view and trying the vegan poached eggs made for a really fun one-time visit. Probably won't be back for more (so many better places for vegan Mexican food in OC) but loved trying. "We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."
