"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

Food was excellent. Very tasty and authentic. Due to the Corona Virus, place was relatively empty for a saturday night so was expecting faster service, but it wasn't bad!

Vago recently relocated from East 34th Street to 3rd Avenue. This was our first time visiting, and we were all impressed with both the food and service. The prices were also quite reasonable.
