"Second time at this neighborhood restaurant. I'd seen the negative reviews before going the first time but the group I was with all enjoyed their meal. This time more mixed results. I found myself agreeing with prior complaints about the paltry portions of protein in the tacos. I am surprised those complaints haven't been taken to heart by the restaurant it wouldn't be that heavy a lift to throw a few more chunks of chicken into the mix of onion and cabbage. One of our party was surprised by the amount of heat in her rockfish ceviche and thought it might be worthy of a mention on the menu. Ince she located the peppers in the dish she simply chose not to eat all of them and had a better experience. In the other hand my husband thoroughly enjoyed his tamales and we all enjoyed the chips and guac."

"I decided to visit this restaurant with my family, and we loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic, even if you just stop by for takeout. They had wonderful live music, which added to the experience. I would definitely be interested in returning just for the ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious! However, I think the presentation of the takeout could be improved; I’d love to see more sustainable plates and utensils used. I highly recommend this place—be sure to try the enchiladas; they were amazing!"

"I’ve been coming to Kafe Neo for a few years now. I love that everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here at all different times; breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner. At any time, I do appreciate that they take reservations. No matter what I’ve gotten off the menu, it’s all amazing! Definitely make sure you save room for dessert get a crepe!!"

"(You don't pay a menu price) Tonight we have a casual dinner, that was my second time, and it was very disappointing. Exterior and interior decor is beautiful, but I would suggest that on new menus with accurate prices. The first red flag was when we sat at our stand table, it was a bit wet, I called an employee who was nearby (manager responsible) and asked if we could get an an anger on DRY the table, immediately answer it's Sanitizer ok I then want a dry sanitary table. The rest of my experience was subpar, I ordered my food and a cocktail (the ONLY cocktail that has a price in their menu 8) my food came before my drink. It was not busy, very few people at the bar, would say 10 minutes later finally get my drink. At this point can not wait to just go, I get my bill and I see I will be charged 10 for my cocktail. I notified my waitress and she said she would talk to her manager, manager comes by and gives me an unnecessary/overtrial excuse about inflation change from 1 day to another and how (his words) owners do not want to change menu 's because it makes too expensive and tape over it makes menus look ugly. (Personally id rather be notified of receipt of prices) And ended up using better quality than other restaurants and then FINALLY an insincere apology. I will end with it, other restaurant have exact prices on cocktail and food menus. So I think I'm going to go to these facilities from now on. Will never be back."

"for me this is the best tasting Mexican cuisine. the reason why is because it has the origins taste of all Mexican foods, but perfectly puts its own twist on it. therefore it does not taste as if you were on all places as I feel, as sometimes Mexican foods have, because as it salsa is sweet, but smokey, the red sauce is as tangy as well, but smokey. And then they are greener sauce has this beautiful tang."

"1 of the 5 of us thought the food was good. We only saw the server to order food, and again when he brought it out. We had to go to the register (only one for the whole restaurant) and wait in line, then tell them where we sat because we never got the bill. Definitely do not recommend, and will not return. "My family and I went to this restaurant to celebrate a few birthdays, and they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Even though we live 40 minutes away, we will definitely be making the drive again because it is possibly some of the best Mexican food I have ever had!"

"Was craving Mexican food but wanted something new and closer toward home. It was a cold, windy and rainy day when we came.The host/server was extremely hospitable. He was very friendly and outgoing. Since we were the only table dining indoor on such a cold rainy day, we had his undivided attention. Great service, attention to details (refills and extra napkins without even asking and just an awesome vibe.He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. We asked the differences in some items that were familiar food and not familiar (which is why we came to learn and explore new food ... we also asked for the authentic food vs the well known American-ize food so that we can understand the cuisine/food abit more. He sold me on his favorite dish which he said, it is an acquired taste ad it was more of a stew and not many Americans would like the taste. I ended up loving it!Hubby and I came for lunch (lunch date! And left very satisfied and happy. We ordered chips with guacamole that also comes with salsa (server brough us hot sauce as well because hot sauce on chips is yum . Ordered:*Large Chips with Guacamole *Taco (3- steak and mixed on corn tortilla *Bistec Ala Mexican*2 Cokes The Bistec Ala Mexican is more of a stew, the server says combining the rice with the spicy tomato is the way to go. Toward the end, I just dump the rest of the rice and beans straight into the bowl and mixed it. It was very lovely and spicy.I would definitely recommend and come back. Both the food quality and service was amazing!"

"Delicious food and super nice staff. Large patio with umbrellas for lovely al fresco dining. The chips and salsa are great. The green sauce had a good kick to it. The ceviche Acapulco is so good with the jicama and cucumber and limey-tomato sauce. The fried bananas order is fairly large and perfect for sharing. "The enchiladas verdes were also a highlight – the sauce was mild with a slight tang. I ordered an Agua Fresca de Jamaica, which was impressive in size and quite concentrated. I didn’t mind, though, as I diluted it to my taste, making it feel like I got nearly two cups for the price of one! Regardless, it was delicious, and I highly recommend it. For dessert, I tried the Deep Fried Ice Cream, which was a first for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The shell around the ice cream had a cereal-like batter that was lightly sweet, perfectly complementing the vanilla ice cream inside. "well they are now joining other establishments and adding a fee, which they call a checkout fee to the bill. this equates to 3.5% of the bill. we have always been faithful customers and are there with our group at least once a month, but this new feature turns us off. never had a problem with your increased prices and wouldn 't have a problem if you began charging for the chips, it 's the principal that you are isolating one variable business expense and passing it off to the client. good luck! not coming back"
