"Outstanding! It was a fantastic experience. I have traveled all over the world, and this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was so delicious that I almost licked my fingers! "We ordered the vegan BBQ pork buns (with meatless chicken), the turnip cakes with meatless chicken, braised tofu with bok choy, and the mandarin eggplant with meatless chicken. The food was delicious. Good vegan turnip cakes can be really hard to find and these had great texture and flavor from the meatless chicken. The BBQ pork buns were good but not the same level as we’ve had in NYC. The braised tofu had amazing texture and came with some really flavorful mushrooms. The mandarin eggplant was my partner’s favorite. It was very flavorful but not very spicy. I would definitely come back. #Veganuary Protip: if you order vegan buns, make sure they have a red dot. "I just ordered two roast turkeys for this Thanksgiving from the Blessed Garden Restaurant. I know it's a little early, but I want to put my order in first. I have my shares of roast turkeys for the past 20+ years, but I have never tasted one as good as the one made by the Blessed Garden Restaurant. Last year was my first year ordering turkey from them, they really surprised me because the turkey was the most flavorful one I have ever tasted. They first marinate the turkey, the same way they would marinate a roast duck. Then they put the turkey on the hanging rack that slowly turning 360 degree and continuing to pour seasoning on it. The result was a tender, flavorful and mouth watering turkey. Susan"

"The first time here. He has rice soup, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, combination Chow fun, chicken Chow my, kung pao chicken and combination fried rice. Really like the Mongo beef bc it had the right amount of heat to it. Soup and rice were missing in taste. Orange chicken was great! The rest were good. The food came out quite quickly and we noticed that so many door-sh orders were picked up while we were there, but we were practically only in customers there. The waitress was very nice and would check if we often need something. I'm sorry... I forgot to take photos before I serve our plates and before I finish the soup....?"

However, if you have the chance to try another Chinese restaurant or even Panda Express, I would suggest you go for that instead. "We had take out and were excited since we love China House in Novato. Admittedly we compared quality and portions to Novato location. The young man who gave me the order told me they are all independently owned. The portions were smaller and seemed pricier than the Marin county location. Chicken teriyaki was in a lot of broth with onions and mushrooms, not what we expected. Shrimp with walnuts was okay but not very flavorful and heavily breaded. We would try it again but with enough time, make the drive to Novato."

"This is our go-to spot for Chinese food in the area. While the location isn’t ideal (it’s nestled between a liquor store and a laundromat), the food is delicious and the service is usually quick and friendly. They remember us as repeat customers, which is a nice touch. The salt and pepper green beans are fantastic – we devour them like French fries; they’re lightly battered and spiced with jalapeños for a pleasant kick. I enjoy the beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian sauce is excellent. The lunch specials throughout the week are also a great deal."

"Bbq pork was a couple days old and very dry. No sauce/glaze on any pieces of the meat whatsoever. Not worth the $9.75 they charge at all. Mongolian beef combo plate also terrible and a joke. The few bites I took from each plate made me sick. Kudos to the people that pay these prices for such low quality food. Much rather drive 10 minutes to get 10x better in Galt."
