"I received a couple of Panera gift cards for Christmas and decided to treat myself to lunch yesterday. I usually go for the "pick 2" option, and this time I chose the creamy tomato soup and a half sandwich with turkey, avocado, and bacon. I actually thought the turkey item would be a salad, so I was a bit disappointed when my order arrived. However, not wanting to change anything, I accepted the order as it was. Let me tell you, that turkey avocado sandwich was incredible! I ended up very pleased with my slight misunderstanding and thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing lunch."

Or how Olive garden not only calls itself a restaurant which it isn't and then has the audacity to call itself Italian which it's not even close to. "Loved my Caesar salad and fontago chick sand! But most of all, manager Adam (name on the receipt, definitely a manager at the register), was....awesome! Both Carmen and I left our wallets at home and had no cash stashed in the car� All we had was a $15 Panara gift card, our bill $25.07. After my search in the car, I returned and said we need to cancel our order, Carmen said lets just get the salads, Adam.....he threw in the $10, saying he knew we were long time Panara Bread customers, he had it� We will pass on the kindness! #adamPanaramade my day�"

"I hate to say it, but Panera has gone downhill. It used to be a wonderful place for delicious fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and quiet conversation. If you don't like Poultry, there are limited choices now. They removed their delicious Asiago Beef sandwich. They added pizza joint stuff and now instead of the wonderful smell of bread and fresh cut veggies that greeted you, it is replaced with run of the mill pizza joint smell. I wish places that had a wonderful menu would trust it for what it is. and leave it alone."

"Great place to stop for lunch. Did the pick two and got the Cream of chicken wild rice soup along with half a Turkey sandwich. Everything else was great! As a mom to a picky eater, my son loved his grilled cheese sandwich and yogurt! My grandmaloved the fresh hot coffee. My only complaint is the employee that took our order had a annoyed attitude towards us. Alsodidn?t realize the sandwich came with onion till we got our order but no biggie."

"I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Panera. I didn't realize they offered breakfast items, as I usually go to Starbucks for my morning fix. However, today Starbucks was sold out of my usual orders so I decided to give Panera a try. I was delighted to discover they have a breakfast menu. I ordered a chocolate croissant, which was delicious, and a Madagascar vanilla cream cold brew with almond milk and caramel syrup added. The coffee was excellent, especially considering I am very particular about my iced coffees. I give 4 stars because I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on Ciabatta, and while the bacon, eggs, and bread were great, the cheese was chewy and didn't taste good. I ended up taking it off and the sandwich tasted much better. I will remember to order my sandwiches without cheese in the future. Overall, Panera offers a great breakfast selection and fantastic coffee. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more items. If you're in the market for a new breakfast spot, I highly recommend giving Panera a try."

"This is for the West Orange location. Great staff and service. I always get my all time favorite salad to go. Decided to dine-in. This is their fuji apple salad with chicken (whole, not half) and a side of baguette. The meal was absolutely beautifuland perfect. It was a gorgeous day and this made it even better. PAUSE. Sadly, had a disappointing find in my salad. For whatlooked like molded greens. Management was very courteous and tried to right the wrong. I was more bummed about not finishing thesalad. Took a couple of days off from my fave. I'll be back..TBD"

"I can't understand how a corporate meeting takes place in the dining area while customers are trying to enjoy their meals or get some work done. A poor woman asked for some flexibility as she was finishing her studies and trying to improve herself, but it seems this organization doesn't prioritize professional development. The food isn’t great, and the coffee is only just passable. The highlights of the menu are the soup, salad, quiche, and smoothies. Additionally, there are only a limited number of seats with electrical outlets, most of which are at the bar stools in the middle of the restaurant."

"I adore this bagel shop. Every time I visit, I always order the same thing: a plain toasted bagel with plain tofu cream cheese, lox, capers, and red onions, along with a cup of coffee. The indoor space is great, and there is also outdoor seating available. It's conveniently located near Prospect Park, making it the perfect spot to grab breakfast after walking my dog. After paying, you receive a ticket with your order number on it. When your number is called, you can pick up your order. They provide a cup for you to pour your own coffee. The only downside is the young guy with long hair who works at the register. He always seems to be in a bad mood and can be a bit argumentative. Despite this, I won't let it stop me from enjoying my Sunday morning tradition, and you shouldn't let it discourage you from giving this place a try. Enjoy!"

"I was really disappointed with this restaurant. They promote themselves as vegetarian and vegan-friendly, but in reality, they use butter, milk, and eggs in almost everything. We went for breakfast and found that the only vegan options available were a heel flake and a head dish. Honestly, I can get better vegan options at a chain restaurant like IHOP, where I can order crispy fruit and heel flakes. We tried to communicate with the waiter to create a nice meal, but everything was cooked in butter. It’s frustrating that they claim to be vegan-friendly when their understanding of veganism seems limited. If they truly want to cater to vegans, they should know what being vegan means and offer real vegan options. We ended up leaving in frustration, and I still feel annoyed when I hear others talk about this place. It’s hard to believe they consider themselves vegan-friendly while using eggs, cheese, and butter."

"I went in loving the food and walked out hating this fricking place and now I can 't even think of going back without getting even more frustrated. I went in for one bread and one muffin, and it took just a bit over 20 minutes for them to let me know that they didn 't have the bread, and to just get me my single muffin and then wait for the manager for the refund that by that point I was ready to just take the loss. I do not mind that they were out of my bread and I wouldn 't have cared if I didn 't think anything could have been done, but when I can see how every fricking employee is competing for slowest zombie walk while I 'm waiting forever for a single muffin that is when I get super upset. I have bad joint pain at night that leaves me slow hobbling around my house, and I could have beat them in a marathon compared to their speeds. I love their food, but the just terrible slow service for something so simple they just have to grab from the case is what is the issue. This was just terrible on the employees parts and that is when I get angry enough for a bad review cause I know how hard it is to be in the service industry. Am not going back for at least a long time, God dang so much time I 'll never get back just sitting on that wall sofa staring at their slow walking and looking at their order tablet that mocked me by letting me know that they were 'prepping ' my order. Wonderful food, great lobby and inside, slowest employees ever."

"Stood for Rapid Pick-Up counter for 35 minutes after ordering as they ignored my order of 4 simple sandwiches. Watched as 8 later orders came and went, my name was still on the board. Gently asked if it was coming up soon she just pointed to the nameboard and said it's still up. (Duh, I'm aware! Finally received my order, returned to my waiting family and got the highway,only to find sandwiches were not made to order and no pickles included. It was indeed a busy time but there's no way 8 ordersthat came after me (many of them assembled and cooked and mine was 2 colds 2 hots, the 2 hots being 2 pieces of cheese and 2pieces of bread to make 2 simple grilled cheeses should have left before me while I stood there. At the very least, the 2 atthe counter should have asked me who I was after 15-20 minutes and looked into it. Standing for 40 minutes waiting on 4sandwiches, huge disappointment."

"Orders are always wrong..I usually have an issue with ordering from this café, something is always missing or wrong but it's close by and I love Panera..But today I ordered for myself and 3 other coworkers in West Haven. Not sure why it picked this café, I was assuming the others did not deliver. Anyhow, upon receiving the order (delivered by Door Dash which was left in the cold all the way across the parking lot away from my building after leaving instructions from the building not receiving any call from the driver), I opened the bag and realized that a bread bowl was missing for my coworkers order. Upset, I called and they refunded me for that order. When it was time for my lunch, I went into the bag again and noticed that my soup was not there !!! That is so crazy to me. For all our orders, it was $60! For 2/4 of the orders to be incorrect is a horrible standard. The whole order slip was checked off, but clearly nobody ever really checked it ..I wanted my whole order refunded, seeing as it was not only for me but my coworkers, I now had NO lunch to eat during my 8 hour shift, and I spent $60 for wrong, cold food.For what is was worth, the lady manager I spoke to over the phone was very nice and understanding of my situation. She explained that the store was short staffed and extremely busy. She was the only good part of this experience, because she had good customer service. However she nor her manager could refund me my money because it was too much I know it was too much, I spent it !!!Everybody makes mistakes and I am understanding of that. We've all had our days. But when one order is wrong, one never got made, and you spent your hard earned money to eat this food on your only 45 lunch break of the day, something's got to give.Overall bad experience and waste of money!"

"How much do I love Panera Bread you ask?..., let me tell you. Two years ago I lost my job when the pandemic began..., my elderly next door neighbor died, and my husband and I literally didn't leave the house for two months..., thank goodness we've always had backup food..., in case of the zombies. Seriously though, we've always been stocked. I haven't had a job in two years because of the pandemic... when it began to be safer I started doing odd jobs again, mostly yard work and shoveling just to make ends meet..., thank goodness our house is paid for outright. Panerai Bread came through for me today..., they hired me when I needed it most...,and for that I will always be thankful. (Ps: this should be fun..., the owners' name is Jill..., her second in command is Will..., and my name is WiL..., this is going to be fun. "We placed a to-go order for a salad and a sandwich through the kiosk, but we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for our food. When we finally left, I noticed that they had forgotten to include any dressing for the salad. My husband spoke to the manager about the long wait, but the manager simply said they were busy and didn’t offer any apology. To make matters worse, we overheard them telling other customers that the wait was only 20 minutes. I chose not to provide my email address, so I didn’t receive a receipt to file a complaint with corporate. All in all, I won’t be returning to this restaurant."

"7/16/2022 I am a long time Panera Bread customer and do like their food. But, today I had a disgraceful experience in their Coconut Point, Estero FL store. I placed my order and sat at a table. When my buzzer went off signaling that my food was readyI proceeded to the counter. When I arrived at the counter my food was the only food on the entire counter and there was aperson standing in front of it blocking my access to the food. I tried to reach for it but could not get past the person toreach it. She turned around and looked at me then turned her back to me again without moving and responding in any way. I saidin a normal voice that I would like to get my food. She (Meghan turned out to be the manager) gave me a dirty look andpushed my food across the counter knocking the sandwich off the plate. I then asked her if I could get some condiments whichshe was blocking also. She nearly threw them across the counter. I told her I did not understand her rude behavior and sheyelled that is it, I am calling security. Security came to my table and said I have to leave. I told him what happened and hesaid he understood and suggested that I let Panera corporate know what happened. I asked for a refund for my meal and Meghan said that is not going to happen. I asked for take out boxes to take my meal and she gave me a Dirty box. Igathered my food and left. She yelled at me on the way out the door that her name was Meghan and to make sure that I spelled itright. As a human being, let alone an employee I would apologize to anyone that I was unintentionally standing in their way. Ican not understand how anyone can keep a job with such behavior. I see by the comments that it appears to be a commonoccurrence at this location. Good food. Decent prices. Unbelievably terrible customer service ! ! !"
