"I made a reservation for a Saturday night, but when we arrived, it was clear that we didn’t need one, as the restaurant was quite empty. I think they haven’t been open for long, and they are located right next to a Carrabba's. Personally, I prefer this restaurant over Carrabba's any day!
We started with some cocktails, and I ordered the Mahalo, which I really enjoyed. For our appetizer, we chose the mussels, and I was pleased to find they were large and tasted fresh. For my main course, I had the chicken marsala—one of my all-time favorites—while my partner opted for the chimichurri steak with a double order of fries, as he loves steak frites! We both enjoyed our meals, and we each ordered a glass of wine to complement our dishes, which was a nice touch.
For dessert, our server suggested the Key lime pie, which happens to be one of my partner's favorites, and it was excellent! Our server was attentive and very friendly. Just this past weekend, I returned with some girlfriends and decided to try the Chicken Milanese. I was blown away by how delicious it was!
This time, I made it in time for happy hour and sampled their Florida Old Fashioned. I'm not usually a whiskey drinker, but I found it very tasty—and I ended up having three! I definitely regretted that the next day!
Overall, I think this restaurant is a great spot for happy hour with friends or a nice sit-down dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the service has been excellent. Most importantly, based on my two recent visits, I've found the quality of the food to be consistently good."
